I would like to say that I really liked your story and am impressed by its quality (you say it's your first?).

I would really like sth to happen with Astrid, because i find her a great character. Tbh I would like her to have some sort of redemption (not easy of course) with realizing the truth about dragons and that she'd find love somewhere else than Hiccup.

I really love the story so far. I think the fight scenes are great and I can imagine what's happening.

That was the best fight scene I have ever read. Be it in fanfiction or professionally produced works. I almost thought it was all over. Wow

Don’t feel pressured to post, while yes I would love an update whatever is happening in the real world is far more important. And honestly this is a pretty good “end” to the story until you wrote more chapters

I am very pleased with the overall tone of the story you're writing. It's a great AU story with loads of potential that you've got no problem utilizing. I'm a fan of HTTYD, so seeing how you're able to take the characters beyond canon limitations is an absolute treat to behold. Good luck in updating it whenever possible. :)

We cannot change who we are just to please someone else or be someone else idea of who we should be. We must be true to ourselves and accepted for who we are and not what others wish us to be. They lost Hiccup long before he chose to make a life for himself elsewhere.

You think people who are abused, ignored, and neglect wish to put up with it forever? I've dealt with it every day of my life, and so many times, I want to hurt the people back who do it to me.

But Hiccup needs to be true to himself, and if his 'people' can't see how special and amazing he is as himself, that's their loss.

Also, don't put much stock in prophecies. Make your own destiny and choose your own fate for good or ill. Live your life for yourself and those who love and accept you.

So I hope this isn't over and you plan to finish this. I hope this isn't the end. I want to see Hiccup and his girl have a kid. That be nice.

P.S. I am surprised that Hiccup turned into somewhat of a Beserker. Yes, he was tortured...many times whether by someone intentionally doing so or by the events taking place (fall of Helgafjall). I just thought he would think things through more, plan them out so as not to reduce the number of people getting hurt rather than rush in for blood (as he did in the last battle).

Hi there. Hope all is well, especially considering the current circumstances. I just binge read the story for the first time and want to say thank you and I hope you are inclined to continue it. The writing style is nice, developed. I always wondered how writers pick and choose what details to give and I am curious how you chose your descriptions (i.e. of the battle that took place or of Elysia before she obliterated the invaders docked boats.

The pacing is well done. I had a few questions such as why the group of 4 were so quick to give up on Helgafjall instead of working alongside their dragons. The invaders of Berk also had siege weapons but Toothless seems to have come out of the battle unscathed.

Anyways, I can't wait to read the next chapter (I didn't see anything about the story being discontinued so crossing fingers). Hope you stay safe and healthy!
