I read a bunch of fanfiction so I thought I'd take a shot at writing some myself.

I love Naruto but I hate the direction the manga has taken. I've read the manga for years and then once they got to the fourth shinobi war everything went down hill for me. So basically I read fics that stick with the post fourth war time line with a grain of salt. The story has to be incredible to keep my attention other wise they are blown over. (sorry :/) I've been reading fanfiction since :)

I've been writing my entire life literally since early grade school, mostly poetry but got into short stories with encouragement from my father, who's an author when I was in my early teens. I've been writing ever since.

I only read Naruto fan fiction but completely ok with fanfiction that involves crossovers, I just really enjoy the freedom that authors explore. The world has so much potential as do the characters but Kishimoto has really lost his way in my opinion. I'm not a purest by any means, AU stories, OOCs, are welcome in my book. I savor the creativity and imagination that authors use to really take the outline that is Naruto-verse and really run with it. Oddly enough I really don't prefer stories with OCs. I just feel with the plethora of characters that are available, why make new ones instead of changing the ones that are already available, my only exception is when you have the actual need for them such as in time travel fics or future fics where the characters that are known are few and far between so you need the OCs to flesh out the story.

Naruto time travel

Naruto as a father (before the introduction of Boruto, etc)

Naruto with a disability

Naruto is smart (I absolutely hate goofy/dumb Naruto)

Naruto is a realist (Again, I'm all for befriending your enemies but there's got to be a line somewhere)
