Author has written 46 stories for Corpse Bride, Twilight, Tomb Raider, Shakespeare, Harry Potter, American Horror Story, Kimetsu no Yaiba/鬼滅の刃, and Walking Dead. =) Hello to all who visit my profile :) Thanks for doing it ;D Well, my name is Cristina, I was born in 1992, I'm Spanish, shy and I couldn't be more romantic. I joined Fan Fiction due to a simple reason: I love reading in both Spanish and English, which are the languages I most know... I don't write so well, because inspiration doesn't arrive very often XD But when I'm inspired, I do =) I arrived at Fan Fiction from DeviantArt (yes, because I also love drawing and people say I'm good at it), specifically from a fanart of Victor and Victoria from the movie of Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, which I love, they are one of my favourite couples :D I started reading stories about them on FanFiction.net and, well, I joined because I love to tell how amazingly some authors write. And it is because with some of them you almost burst into tears, really =') The other couples I love are: Harry & Ginny (Harry Potter saga), Carlisle & Esme (Twilight saga. Another great favourite couple, I adore these two and they are the ones I write about most), Hamlet & Ophelia (Hamlet, by William Shakespeare. This is the weirdest of all, maybe, but well, I like it and there are really beautiful fanfics about them here X3). Tate & Violet and Kyle & Zoe from American Horror Story: Murder House and Coven. I know Violate above all is very sad and twisted (hell, even their ship name sounds bad), but I can't help but love them. They were so cute. :'( Damn AHS for ruining my life. I'm so thankful for Zyle, their relationship is beautiful. n.n Zenitsu & Nezuko from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. I NEED MORE STORIES about these two cinnamon rolls, I love them!! Anyway, I hope I can contribute something to FanFiction.net gradually and continue to enjoy all the wonderful stories around here;) Greetings! =) (Sorry if I have grammatical mistakes, I'm still learning English). Whatever your position on this site may be, I know that you can understand how it would feel to have spent hours perfecting a chapter for your story, only to find that a mere three or four people have reviewed it (especially when so many more have read it). People don't generally write for the reviews, but it's great to have some incentive. You don't have to critique; a simple "I really like your story" can mean the world to us. Remember this: Many authors have anonymous reviews enabled. So even if you're not logged in or even if you don't currently have an account with this site, it is likely that you'll still have the ability to review. Sure, we all forget sometimes, but make the effort. Never underestimate your power as a reader. Speaking of underestimating... Please don't underestimate younger writers. I'm quite a young author on this site, but I hold the respect that I've gotten here very close to my heart. No one is a perfect writer. Age has nothing to do with that. We must remember that we're all equals. Now, you don't have to read stories when you, of course, have no interest in the plot or if you feel that someone has terrible grammar, but don't let their age be what turns you away. Now, a message to the younger posters... No, to everyone; respect your work if you want to be taken seriously. I won't lie, there have been stories that I did like that had some iffy wording, but I think that I would've loved them if it had felt that more time was taken to ensure optimum quality. We all make mistakes, and that's fine, but try a beta, or spend a little extra time on proof-reading your chapters. Trust me, it's amazing to like something while writing it, and then feel that you've made it even better. :) Some inspirational quotes/Algunas citas inspiradoras: "Never let the fear of striking out keeping you from playing the game." (Unknown) "Don't give up. Because that's what you do when your dreams are more important than your fears. You go out there and ignore the odds. You focus on one thing. That your dreams come true. Never quit, if you stumble, get back up. What happened yesterday no longer matters. Today is another day so get back on track and move closer to your dreams and goals, you can do it if you just believe." (Unknown) "An entire sea of water can’t sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, the negativity of the world can’t put you down unless you allow it to get inside you." (Goi Nasu) "I'm a dreamer, what can I do? You won't go far with that attitude, they say. But that won't stop me from trying to prove them wrong, I say." (Unknown) "It doesn’t matter how long it takes, everyone blooms differently. Setbacks are not failures and you are more than yesterday. Own your mistakes, quit the inner-loop of shaming in your head, smile big, move on." (Seen on Tumblr) "When someone speaks of you negatively, be flattered. To be in someone’s mind is to have power over them. Revel in the fact that they subconsciously reserve thoughts and energy for you." (Unknown) “Don’t ever let somebody tell you… You can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream… You gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.” :) I like to believe in Heaven and in a loving God who will always love us, no matter what. :) Copy this onto your profile if you think there should be an entire book on Carlisle and Esme... Copy this onto your profile if you think that whenever you are having an argument with Carlisle Cullen, and you want to say something sarcastic, you should say "Oh, go swim to France!" Copy this if you love purple for Esme (well, I loved it before, but she made me love it even more!)! Yeah! Apparently it's her favourite color, she wears it in almost all the movies! |
