Author has written 3 stories for Naruto, and One Piece. Aliases: Preposte and Decaf Age: 36 Sex: Male Location: Cascadia Occupation: Engineer iii - IN PROGRESS - Remembering Tomorrow (Naruto, Timetravel) This story started as a seed. How do you make a time travel story feel organic? Whether or not I succeeded is up to you to decide, but I hope the ideas feel right for the reader the same way it feels right for me. Tsukumogami: The Living Seals (Naruto, Fuuinjutsu) An exploration of what can be accomplished with sealing. Tsukumogami are essentially sentient objects with abilities granted by their sealing matrix. A clan able to create such objects would truly be a clan to fear. With the downfall of Uzushiogakure, the surviving artifacts are spread across the world. Some are lost or destroyed, others continue to make their presence felt (e.g., Samehada, Mask of the Shinigami, etc.). Naruto sets out to restore the legacy of the Uzumaki, and to return the surviving artifacts to the right hands. Player One Piece (One Piece, Gamer) Introducing the Gēmā Gēmā no Mi, a.k.a. the Gamer Gamer Fruit. After seeing such reality bending devil fruits as the Art Art Fruit, I realized that the gamer power is an excellent match for a devil fruit. But who to give it to? I wanted to find a character that has strong motivations to build a story around and isn't tied tightly to the canon plotline. Hence Kohza. I won't spoil the other reasons I picked him, but I hope you enjoy how the story unfolds. iii - IN DEVELOPMENT - A Shinobi At Sea (Crossover: Naruto/One Piece) Summary: Team Yamato tracks Mukade to the ruins of Roran. However despite the fugitive's intention, everyone knows that traveling back in time is impossible. The Space/Time Jutsu fails, in a sense, instead sending those present hundreds of years into the future, to the age of Pirates. Stage: Late plot building - Working on an end game. Notes: Without Naruto, the Moon Eye Plan is partially successful. The Elemental Nations are brought low and the chakra of millions are absorbed into the world tree. However, an unknown event causes the Shinji to lose its hold of the chakra stored inside, causing a massive explosion that rips the continent to shreds. The loosed chakra once stored in the Shinji manifests itself now as devil fruit, granting abilities to those that eat them. However, the fragments of the chakra hungry Shinji have long fossilized as they sit on the ocean floor. Anyone carrying the powers of a devil fruit find themselves drained by the fragments. The Marines have more recently begun collecting the fragments in diving expeditions and calling them sea-stone. Naruto arrives in the new era and discovers he has no hope of going home, but a rumor suggests that he may learn what happened to his village on the island of Raftel. Dragon Rider of the Old World (Crossover: How to Train Your Dragon/Temeraire) Summary: In their battle with Drago Bludvist, Hiccup and Toothless are caught in the breath of the man's Bewilderbeast and frozen in ice. Centuries later, an aviator from the British Aerial Corps and his Chinese dragon find them. Hiccup must come to terms with the radical ways the world has changed, and how it never changes, as he tries to help England in their ongoing war with the Corsican tyrant. Stage: Early plot building - Figuring out how to transition an Old Norse speaking Viking into Georgian-era England. Notes: How are there no fics of this crossover? Harry Potter Versus The Goblet of Fire (Harry Potter, Time Loop) Summary: Minister Cornelius Fudge had to fix things. What if "the boy who lived" died during the tournament? No, that was unacceptable. Using his position to enlist the aid of the Unspeakables to remove Harry's magical contract with the ancient goblet. However, things don't go according to plan, and an ancient power wakes up to make things right. Stage: Early plot building. Notes: The Goblet of Fire is not to be trifled with. It's original purpose was as the arbiter of magical agreements of all kinds. It's current status as a tournament prop merely reflects how it's storied history has been forgotten. After Fudge's ill-advised attempt to force the Goblet to break a contract, it begins to bend it's powers to force Harry to fulfill his agreement. However, with the fake Moody's interference, Harry's contract implies that he must WIN the tournament to satisfy the contract. When a misstep causes Harry to fall to the Hungarian Horntail, the Goblet is forced to reset things to give the boy another chance. However, that wouldn't be a fair arrangement, no, and the Goblet values a fair arrangement above all else. Perhaps if the tasks were beefed up as well, to keep up with the boy as he grows into his power... Essentially, Harry has to repeat the Tri-Wizard Tournament over and over until he wins, but every iteration gets more difficult than the last. Even to the point that the other competitors need his help to survive the challenges. Through it all, will Ron make himself into such a prat that the universe collapses on itself (I'm not a basher, but this book is certainly not his best moment)? Will Harry realize that something is wrong with Moody? What will happen when the time looping Harry is abducted to the graveyard by Voldemort? What will the professors do to try to stop the Goblet from harming their students? What will the Goblet stoop to in order to enforce its sacred contract? Scoobies Forever (Crossover: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Black Panther) Summary: Alexander Harris has been tasked with finding every activated slayer on the African continent that he can before the world proves how unforgiving it can be. Rumor has it that a girl has been spotted in Rwanda fighting singlehandedly, and rather successfully, against armed militants. All he knows so far is that he name is Nakia. Stage: Early plot building. Notes: For the second time, Xander has been introduced to a new world, hidden from the world at large. Attempting to help, he stumbles into the country of Wakanda. Now King T'Chaka must make a choice. |
