Fine, original and well written. Pity it's abandoned.

I feel like Hermione's inclusion in this group is sheer canon deference. Luna seems like a better choice. She's the one who suggested the solution in the first place. But that's just the start. Fred, George, Katie Bell, all these seem hands-down like people Harry knows and trusts more. Cho is pretty good friends with Marietta. Then consider Tracey Davis, who I could see the trio considering as a pair with Daphne, especially after her just standing up to Malfoy in front of everyone. Harry's talked to Hermione like three times and she REALLY doesn't seem like the type who would be up for a random adventure (from the characters' perspective, of course). Hermione's probably my favorite character from the books and in general fanfiction, but Harry randomly picking her as the 5th member and the other two not questioning this or making their own suggestions really feels out of place. It makes Hermione's inclusion feel unearned. I wish you had just built her and her relationship with the trio up more so this would make sense.

That said, I don't leave reviews on fics unless I love them and thus their small flaws bother me all the more. If there were too many flaws I wouldn't bother because it's a lost cause. Of course, what pains me most is that this delightful title seems to be abandoned. Hopefully you'll come back to it someday. I don't think it'll ever be finished, but... just a little more would satisfy a lot.

Rereading. I forgot how fleshed out your HP world is. All the characters are so interesting too. After reading a handful of decently well written fics that unfortunately had brainless Dumbledore bashing, reading this fic is like a breath of fresh air.

A lot of writing about Hary Potter forget that magic is magical and not to be taken for granted. You expressing the sheer joy and beauty of magic is some of the best writing I've come across in hundreds of recent fanfic readings.

Whatever you're doing keep it up.

loved this story, it has a great way of showing and building relationships between people and a fantastic way of developing a magic system. i like the cooky nature of all of the parental figures in harry's life and i appreciated how they eccentricities have affected harry. the drama between the founder's rooms was well written and i like how they are an overarching plot of the story rather than a yearly adventure mechanic. i would love to see more of this as its a great piece of writing but i understand that probably won't happen as it has been nearly 5years since the last update. thank you for writing such a wonderful story.

I realized in the second chapter that I've actually read this before. Still love it and am happily rereading it. I don't remember that first chapter though. Is it new somehow? Or did I just somehow manage to skip it the first time.

I don't know what this is yet, but it's great! I get so excited when I find a story with great writing.

I love how loyal to the original characterizations you've stayed. You really nailed it here. This could easily have been an excerpt from JKR herself.

Either way if you want to change the summary to JukedSolid's one, you have my support as a reader :P Can't wait to continue with this story - especially more magic about Hogwarts like Mcgonagall's explanation about the names and everything, or Dumbledore's explanation about symbolism.
