I am essentially a boring person. Keep this in mind.

I have been a nerd for as long as I can remember (apparently, according to my mom, it's a hereditary trait from my dad). I sort of fell out of nerd-dom and busied myself with more important things, such as picking my self up off the bottom of the social ladder. Because of this, I have an unhealthy obsession with fashion and cosmetics. Also, to help myself get into the inner circle of high school popularity, I spent a summer eating only yogurt, salad, and other super healthy foods (regulated by mom) and worked as a model out of a Atlanta company.

Yeeeeaaah. I hated it. So that didn't work so well.

Well, I managed to turn myself from the weird girl who rarely spoke and always sat in the back of the class to someone who can be considered socially acceptable in all circles.

And now I'm writing fanfiction. Counterproductive? I think so.

As for what I write; I love the world of the night. I come from a place that is not very diverse in it's social ladders. We have celebrities where I live, and then we have the destitute and homeless. I've always been fascinated by that lower class, as I am from the very rare lower middle class in my home. The people who struggle to survive their daily lives deserve more attention in the world than they do.

Also, I really love hookers.

I will occasionally have a horror or mystery story jump from my brain and on to paper, but the majority of my stories are romantic dramas involving copious amounts of angst and hurt/comfort.

In addition to writing, I enjoy reading, medicine, psychology, cooking and baking, and singing. I'd like to be able to play an instrument one day, preferably the violin since I had practice when I was younger, but I've never been very good with reading music.

I currently reside in South Carolina and am working on becoming a nurse, and from there, a pediatric nurse practitioner.

I may seem a bit intimidating, but I'm really not. I love people. I'm far too chatty for my own good and I'm always up for a good conversation about anything. I'm also a willing ear to anyone who needs advice about anything. Even if I can't provide any, I'm perfectly willing to listen/read.
