I love this. I absolutely fucking love this. The relationship with these two and how it progressed in a realistic manner was absolutely beautiful and brilliant. This story will forever be one of my ultimate favorites. I have nothing else left to say, but this was fucking awesome.

The Cardverse is always a bit weird to write about and while I've tried to read many fanfictions based on it in the last few weeks this is the first I've actually finished. You made it convincing enough, even if it wasn't completely devoid of flaws. The whole King/Queen/Jack selection is always a bit confusing and I found the whole reigning-for-centuries a bit overdone (but this is a personal preference...); the relationships between Kings and Queens is also not very well detailed (why Francis isn't married to Lili if Queens and Kings are supposed to always be pairs? Does this work just for Spades? And if it does how are they even supposed to know since Arthur is the first Queen?). So plotwise it has quite a few holes here and there in my opinion...but it was a pleasant read nonetheless. The fact that it was kept relatively light helped for sure and your writing style made it sound like a fairy-tale anyway and fairy-tales rarely make perfect sense.

Ahhhhh that was so sweet! I really felt for Arthur over the course of the story and I was so excited for him at the end. The ending felt a bit abrupt, but then again, I suppose that's how miracles work. Overall, I really liked this story.

I really loved your story... I loved the plot and how it wasn't your average peasant Alfred ends up with Queen Arthur. I loved the idea of the clocks as hearts and I found it interesting how China was almost manipulating Arthur through his need for love and acceptance. I'm not sure what it was about this story but I just loved it and felt the need to immediately go and make fan art, so here it is:
