Author has written 20 stories for Twilight, Peter Pan, Captain America, Austin & Ally, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. I have been making up stories all my life to fill time or maintain my sanity when I was in uncomfortable places. Sharing my writing is a new thing for me and I hope someone out there will like what I write. When my friends finally talked me into reading the Twilight series I was skeptical but I fell in love with it when I read New Moon and met the Quileutes and the wolfpack. That world fascinates me and attracted me to imprint stories. So now I've tried my hand at one myself and I hope its good. I appreciate input/feedback so I can improve my writing and learn where my weaknesses are as a writer. Enjoy! 1-10-11 I know there are a lot of different opinions on imprinting, good and bad so just for clarification, here is my view on Imprinting: It's not about having your choice taken away or being forced into anything. the people involved are still people, prone to mistakes, misunderstandings and basic human weaknesses just like anyone else. Imprinting just takes out the guess-work of trying to find a person who is a good fit for you. It leads the wolves to their perfect match and then takes away any uncertainty or threats to the relationship - ie, a wolf will never stray from his mate. I also like to think the pull exists for the imprint as well, drawing them to their wolf. 1-14-12 I'm branching out! But no fear, I am still writing about the wolves and hope to post another soon. 10-20-13 Yes, yes, I have developed an unhealthy obsession with Disney's Austin and Ally. But I actually feel pretty justified in this despite my age. (I am well outside their target viewing audience!) You might be obsessed too if one day you turn on the tv and see part of your life on there. Seriously. I met my Austin in high school and we bonded over music in concert choir. We were best friends turned something more and were separated by distance for a time but we were always just us and we belonged together. If you want to know more, just check out When Art Imitates Life. And you should know: no one touches my book. 4-4-14 Just saw Captain America: Winter Soldier and my husband is convinced that the Marvel writers read my one shot "One Dance" which inspired a scene in the movie. He's just the best. The movie was pretty epic too. |
