MESSAGE TO ALL OF MY FOLLOWERS AND READERS:

I KNOW IT HAS BEEN A VERY LONG TIME SINCE i LAST UPDATED THE MANY LONG FORM NARRATIVES ON MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP ON THEM NOR AM I IGNORING MY READERSHIP. OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH A GREAT MANY DIFFICULTIES IN MY PERSONAL LIFE INCLUDING BOUTS OF SEVERE DEPRESSION, PHYSICAL ILLNESSES THAT REQUIRE LONG TERM TREATMENTS AND THE RECENT DIAGNOSIS OF DIABETES. THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT IS, THE DEPRESSION AND MY PHYSICAL AILMENTS HAVE SAPPED THE JOY I HAD ONCE TAKEN IN WRITING THESE STORIES. IT IS STRUGGLE, OFTENTIMES, JUST TO SIT AND WRITE ANYTHING BEYOND JUST A FEW WORDS OR SENTENCES.

ON OCCASION THERE WILL BE ATTEMPTS TO SCRIBBLE DOWN AND POST A SHORT HUMOR STORY. THESE ARE ATTEMPTS TO REKINDLE THE JOY I ONCE HAD FOR WRITING FICTION. THESE SHORT STORIES ALSO SERVE AS ATTEMPTS TO LIFT MY SPIRITS OUT OF THE ALMOST CONSTANT DOLDRUMS IT SEEMS I AM ALWAYS IN DUE TO THE DEPRESSION. IT IS A SHAME FOR ME TO SAY THIS, BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE THAT INVOKES EVEN THE SLIGHTEST AMOUNT OF PLEASURE OF CONTENTMENT THESE DAYS. THE WORLD SEEMS ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY BLEAK THESE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS. MEDICATION HAS HELPED, BUT NOT EVEN A FEW PILLS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO RESTORE THE CHEER AND HAPPINESS THAT USED TO FILL MY LIFE.

IT IS MY SINCEREST HOPE THAT EACH PERSON WHO READS THIS WILL UNDERSTAND THE DIFFICULTIES I AM FACING ON A DAILY BASIS AND ALLOW ME THE TIME AND LATITUDE TO OVERCOME THEM. THEN PERHAPS THERE WILL ONCE AGAIN BE THE FIRE TO BE CREATIVE IN THIS FORUM.

Why Am I Here: So I can inflict upon the entire population of fan fiction writers my horrid stories, poor grammar and lousy characterizations. Also, I was told there would be free soda and pretzels. So, where is the free soda and pretzels?

A Little About Me: I am a Computer Technician. I tend to think in a straightforward and technical manner since my mind has to work that way for my chosen profession.

A Little About My Writing Style: It is very slow. See above regarding my mode of thinking which tends to be reflected in my writing. It takes a good long time to go from a lean and straightforward storyline to an actual and meaningful story with good characterizations and clearly defined motivations. This can often entail numerous rewrites over several days to get to where I am satisfied with my output. So please be patient.

I have seen this list posted in several profiles, so I decided to repost it as requested. However, as a real life, genuine, bona fide guy of the manly persuasion I have provided a few choice remarks from the guy’s perspective. Enjoy.

(I only want one thing to run through her mind, STOP USING MY CREDIT CARD!)

(Yeah, she is thinking up stuff to argue about next!)

(Stop looking at us like that, it freaks us out and makes us want to leave you)

(We lie BECAUSE you stare. It makes us think that no matter what the truth is, you will refuse to believe it, so we make stuff up! STOP STARING!!)

(Contrary to popular belief, guys are indeed very capable of having a long term relationship. However, it usually involves one of the following two choices: Ford or Chevy. Sorry, ladies, you don’t even make the top ten on that list.)

(We’re guys, our idea of “pampering” usually involves Turtle Wax and Armor All!)

(…and then she complains all day long that you’re too tired to do anything! Oh, and don’t tell her you actually watch her sleep, she’ll just think it’s creepy!)

(I have no idea where your lips have been. If I have a peanut allergy and you had a peanut butter sandwich for lunch, I’m doomed!)

Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats.
(Yup, because nothing is sexier than a woman in sweats who is covered in her own perspiration and smells nastier than a worn athletic supporter. NOT!!!)

The one who holds your hand in front of his friends and is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you there for him.
(…and who gets the crap beaten out of him by his friends ten minutes after you leave!)

The one who turns to his friends and declares, "That's her".
(Me: That’s her!
My friend: Really? She’s not much to look at.
Me: Well that’s her. I saw her on America’s Most Wanted last night and I’m going to turn her in first thing when I get home!)
