Author has written 12 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Pride and Prejudice, American Girl, Elephant Princess, H2O: Just Add Water, Phantom of the Opera, and Sense and Sensibility. Of the Author: At this time, I am twenty-six years of age. I'm not sure if that encourages readers to trust I have an established knowledge of basic English writing and grammar, or is rather worrisome that I'm mostly writing fan fiction from children's books and television series. I'm especially fond of writing more grown-up versions of H2O: Just Add Water, and Felicity: An American Girl. There are a handful of more popular fandoms I do plan on dabbling in at some point, but for now I can't seem to forsake my obscure little loves for more popular stories. Hopefully, you all find something to enjoy here in my collection. A bit of a spoiler warning regarding my stories: I have found it impossible to write without incorporating two things in all of them. One is a romantic pairing, and the second is a happy ending. I may not give every character the happiest of fates but if there is a love interest, (and there always will be) you can be fairly certain they'll survive to the end. If you were hoping for prolonged melodrama and tragedy, I'm afraid this is the wrong author to be seeking. Concerning Updates: I will be perfectly honest; I'm a flaky updater. I have managed to post several stories in which updates are consistently offered, but at some point in the story I tend to fall behind and there's a gap in the updates. I admit, I do let life happenings affect me and my determination to write. My Beta does her best to fix this unhappy flaw of mine with punishments, the withholding of her own stories, and harassing phone calls, but nothing works quite so well as receiving support and encouragement in the form of happy reviewers. I'm not saying that to guilt trip everyone into reviewing each and every chapter. That is simply the honest truth. Now you know. You may do with that information as you see fit. :) Of Couples and Pairings: I suppose a peek at my ideal pairings would benefit. I do not read or write slash, nor will I ever. Never, ever, ever. The end. Please do not ask me to read, look at, or take interest in any story involving M/M or F/F pairings. Phantom of the Opera; Ironically, I joined this site to find Raoul/Christine stories and have since moved on to enjoy Erik/Christine as well. I still hold true to my belief that Raoul and Christine were in love, and therefore the gradual transfer of affections must come naturally and true to character. I see no point in reading a tragedy since we have the original text for that. I enjoy both book and musical versions and someday wish to find (or write) a good Erik/OC as well as some Raoul fluff. Strangely against all I stated above, I have been writing Erik/Christine stories, not all of which are very nice to Raoul. My Beta has rubbed off on me. I'm going rogue. Speaking of which! My best friend and Beta, Kitty Pimms, has written many Phantom stories that have made me fall in love with the Erik and Christine pairing. Find her on Amazon under Catherine Miller! H2O: Just Add Water; Lewis and Cleo belong together. As do Rikki and Zane. Bella should not exist, nor should Will. I'm for Emma/Ash all the way. I've written one of my own that fixes Season 2 as it should have been and continues onwards. My sister is a genius and made a video for it with a song I had no idea even existed. However, be warned that it contains spoilers from my fan fiction, if you intend on reading. (http:///73-B4RlT69E) I have also written a more grim twist to the tale, called: The Dark Side of the Moon. And I would like never to speak of the atrocity that is Mako Mermaids. It makes me quite angry, and I throw stuff at the screen when I watch it. Because I'm a masochist, of course I watch it all. Elephant Princess; Thanks to my best friend and Beta finding this through Netflix, I wholeheartedly accepted the challenge of fixing the show's errors. And there was much to fix. Kuru is simply adorable, but even Alex isn't good enough for him. I do not accept anything that happens from Season 2. Vashan should always be the magical nemesis, Kuru deserves a woman who loves him, and neither he nor Alex should end up with betrayers of Manjipoor. Not to worry. I fixed everything with slavery and babies! ...that came out weird, but it's true! Robin Hood; I am very fond of Guycentric stories with only a slight preference for OFC's. Although I appreciate the established relationship between him and Marian, I do find it off-putting to kick Robin to the curb. His overall redeeming quality was his love for the Lady. Furthermore, I do not believe in Season 3. From the 12th episode of the 2nd season and onward (bloody writers!!) Robin Hood ceased to exist. Twilight; The further removed from the source material, the better. You may be sure that I don't say that about any fandoms except this one. I do enjoy canon stories about characters who are not Edward and Bella, (primarily Jasper/Alice and Carlisle/Esme) but my favourites are the historical and/or kidnap fics. Darkward/angst is always a plus, and when Jacob is a bad guy who dies I am most happy. Canon pairings are lovely so far as they're taken out of canon plots and put into better stories. |
