It's been almost two years since I wrote anything in the RHBBC fandom as of end-2011, and now, two fandom changes later, I look back at some of the stuff here if not with a cringe, then at least with an indulgent smile at my earnest earlier efforts *coughDarkestHourcough* (though I love that pairing). But I'll keep everything here for the record.

My subsequent fandom was not of a kind that is published on ffnet (being, er, real person slash) and my next favourite fandom (The Fast and the Furious, which I'd actually loved since 2001) had tons of brilliant fics that were great to read but also formidable enough to discourage a fandom latecomer from writing. Still, I was content to be a happy reader... until Paul Walker's death put an end to the fun.

ETA 1 as of September '12: of course, when I least expected it, I found a new pairing to love that prompted me to write something I could post here without blushing. I did not quite become a regular Bruce/Selina writer by virtue of the fairly complete plot I had mapped out for them, but I remain a fan :)

ETA 2 as of March '16: ...so much for being done with fanfic. Give me a conflicted, redeemable, doomed baddie in love with a woman who betrays him, and set it in my all-time favourite historical period and setting, and I cannot help but take the bait. My foray into Black Sails fic is definitely a one-off thing, but apparently, my love for fixing up tormented antiheroes is incurable :)

ETA 3 as of December '16: I don't even know.
It would have never occurred to me that many, many years after being a Star Wars fangirl, I'd ever be *writing* in that universe. But thanks to the beauty that is Rogue One and the sexy miracle that is Cassian Andor in particular, it is sublimely enjoyable.
