I liked the realistic approach you went with your one-shot. Even though it wasn't fluff, I liked hearing from Sandor's perspective and his hidden devotion to Sansa. I also loved how in his mind he keeps trying to think of how he can keep his stolen bird as his.

This is just exquisite. You have put perfectly into words the vague snippets of ideas I'd been imagining as to what would have happened if Sansa had gone with Sandor. I love that it's from Sandor's POV and I love his internal battle with his ignoble self and his better nature. You have kept them nicely in character and the evolution of her trust in him feels like what it might have been had this been canon. How lovely that the story comes full circle when he gets what he really wanted from the beginning: for her to look at him without fear and to feel her arms around him.

This was brilliant. I would absolutely read more if you ever decide to expand it. Favoriting! :)

Such a sweet, little story. What I enjoyed the most was how close you remained to the original characters. I can see all these little scenes happening in the books and that made your story even better.
