Author has written 13 stories for Ghost Whisperer, Swan Princess, and Marching Band. Hello! My name is Jessie (not Jessica, mind you), and I'm a 15-year-old klutzy, arrogant, sarcastic, and downright whacked-out hopeless romantic who loves playing trumpet, marching, hanging out with friends, and, of course, writing. Anyway, read and review my work, if you don't mind, and let me know what you think. I like to improve my writing but I don't always know how unless I'm told something. :D I am allegedly gifted, a Junior in high school, Head Librarian in my school Band, Second chair trumpet (I'll let the senior have his year, even though he sucks), and (hopefully) a future member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. Take it home, Santa Clara! Their show this year is titled Bartok. Go check it out! Thanks so much for visiting and have a blessed day! Favorite Stuff I love animated movies and musicals. My favorites are The Swan Princess, Anastasia, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, The Phantom of the Opera (which I was fortunate enough to see live), and Rent. Music is s big part of my life. I like everything from Jazz to Drum Corps, but I don't like rap. Some of my favorite artists are Flogging Molly, Theory of a Deadman, Course of Nature, Alter Bridge, Creed (their older stuff, mostly), Art of Dying, BulletProof Messenger, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Deepfield, Default, One Less Reason, The Dirty Heads, The Fray, Fuel, Gaelic Storm (even though I'm not Irish), Jet Black Stare, John Cougar Mellencamp, Lifehouse, Midnight to Twelve, OneRepublic, Queen, Rev Theory, Staind, Taylor Swift, 12 Stones, and 3 Doors Down. I enjoy reading, though I don't do as much of it as I should. I love A Tale of Two Cities, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and The Hiding Place. I actually enjoy school, mostly because I have the best friends a girl could have. I love English and Band (including concert, marching, and jazz). All of my classes this year are Advanced Placement (AP) courses, so hopefully I'll be able to knock out a few college classes. I am fortunate enough to have what is basically a full scholarship to any college in my state, and I am looking forward to major in either journalism or paralegal studies. I love crime dramas such as NCIS, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Law and Order (with Jerry Orbach and Jesse L. Martin), Night Stalker, Forever Knight, CSI. I also like Burn Notice, Royal Pains, White Collar, and Covert Affairs when I catch them. As for sports, I'd much rather play than watch, but I do like high school and college football, softball, and, since I'm the team manager at my school, girl's high school basketball. I'll be on the tennis team for my school this year (fortunately, you don't have to be good at tennis), and I'll be head manager for the basketball team... again... because I'm the only one. I am an internet junkie. I love memes and anything on the Cheezburger Network. I am a total facebook stalker. By the way, I LOVE DCI! I am a huge fan of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps, and I fully intend to march with them one day. I also like Carolina Crown, Phantom Regiment, and The Cadets. I do NOT like the Crossmen, Cavaliers, the Colts, or the Glassmen. Sorry guys, but can you say "overrated?" Not So Favorite Stuff I have a lot of these, and most of them are high school centric. But I will say that I hate attitudes bigger than my own. Oh, and this makes me so mad and I'm not sure why: people who favorite a ton of stories but don't review and don't write their own. Maybe I'm wrong, but it just seems like all they do is mark the story as a favorite, but never read it. It's suspicious. Quotes "Cry 'Havok' and let slip the dogs of war!"- Shakespeare "Risks in life are just as essential as breathing."- My friend Alex Like "If you expect love to be a nice drive, then you should be sent to a mental institute."- Alex Like again "Seriously, Shut. Up." - Me :D "Training parents is no walk in the park, is it?" - My dad Some people are like slinkies, not much good for anything, but you can't help but laugh when you see one tumble down the stairs Man who run behind car get exhausted. Man who run in front get tired. It is not the man who makes the dream; It is the dream who makes the man. - Myself (unless I heard it from someone else, but I don't think I did) Other Stuff Deviant Art!! - http:/// I do NOTHING on this site, other than whine about stuff in my journal. I need to take a minute to acknowledge my favorite name web site. I love this thing! It takes (most of) the pain out of naming characters. Big round of applause for: http:/// (Seriously, I have it marked under favorites. Check it out!) |
