I've been writing fanfiction literally since I was ten years old and while I may not write as often anymore, I do hope you find my work enjoyable. Flutter by, gentle wingbeats
Slip through the iron wall
Flutter by, small butterfly
Let me follow you home
Your entrance, your exit
Those cracks in the ceiling
Sunlight enters on your wing
Taunt me, tease me, flaunt your flight
You've more freedom than I
Was ever meant to gain
I'll follow you
On the North Wind's wings
Into the moonlit sky
To where the metal gauges the sky
The noise, the lights, the thrill of life
Where the people never sleep
Fly me away, my flutter-by
My darling, breathing window
Bloodred chains hold me here
In this steel coffin
Sealed, and with my fate
My body remains
So take my soul, my heart and soar
Take me to the city
Give me something more
