Unconventional

Summary: Fry's happy with his and Bender's- if slightly unconventional- relationship. Hey, whoever said robosexuality was a bad thing?

A/U: Review please =)

I believe love has no gender... or even species. (I mean, look at Amy and Kiff!) I've been with women, mutants, and even a few aliens. And a mermaid- well, sorta.

The one I'm with now though, he's a robot. It's coming up on two years that we've been together... and no one knows. He's not out of the closet as 'robosexual filth' -or in this case romosexual. He's afraid of what everyone will say. I think he's a little afraid of what we have together himself.

Initially it was pretty awkward. There was the whole coming to terms with being attracted to each other period, then actually getting together. Finally, there was the sex aspect. That was the most awkward of all. There was me, learning what could and could not be disconnected. That took a while- and the wires look and feel exactly the same. There was him learning just how much pressure was good, and how much would hurt.

First off, let me state that robot sex is nothing like human sex. At all. Robot sex has to do with circuitry and electrical pulses. Disconnecting and reconnecting wires to build up enough electrical discharge to temporarily short out the main circuit board. The higher functions shut down for a few seconds as energy pulses through their system which somehow equates to pleasure.

No, I don't get it either.

He's not like anyone else I've ever been with. He doesn't like holding hands, or cuddling, or other girly stuff like that. He doesn't like paying for dinner, or going to movies, or long walks in the park... unless he's scheming. He still likes sitting on his ass doing nothing, binge drinking and watching All My Circuits- with the occasional failure to cook a meal edible by biological beings.

More or less he's the same kleptomaniac I've always known- yet he's happier than he's ever been. And so am I.

Okay, so maybe our relationship is a bit unconventional- but hey, whoever said that was a bad thing?
