Profile, profile, profile…

So, then. I'm 20, female, and a Junior in College. My account name is txfantasystar because I've been using it forever and I kinda like it (Tx for Texas, fantasy for my favorite genre, and star just 'cause). I'm from Texas, Austin to be exact, but am attending College in Fayetteville, Arkansas (I know. Weird, right?). I'm a proud Texan and miss home a lot, but I'm thoroughly enjoying my time up at school.

I love writing and am actually working on a novel, but when that’s going badly I do fanfiction.

My first fandoms were manga, Inuyasha and Dragon Knights to be exact. The DK story still up here is looking like it may never be finished, though. But I’ll try to! I may also post up (and try to finish) Sesshomaru’s War, if only the one-shot part of it (which I adore).

Right now I write mostly for Angel and Leverage and a lot of it is crossover. Mostly centered around Eliot and Lindsey (in crossover, they’re most always the same person to me). Lindsey was my favorite character in Angel, so I like denialverse where he didn’t die (though, credit to Joss Whedon, his death was crazy funny/sad/perfect for him).

I also started a Loki/Darcy story for the Thor movie fandom because I love them and this crazy crack pairing.

I’m thinking of trying my hand at Supernatural, but am content in my lurking for now.

I’m also thinking of some more Marvel Universe fanfics, which would be awesome.

I’ll read pretty much anything for a show/book series/movie I like enough, but what I write tends to stay firmly away from any romance simply because I’m not too good at it. The romance that does appear is always a background lurker and never the center of attention.

My Stories: (Ordered by fandom, then by order started publishing. Series and ‘verses ordered by storyline chronology.)

Dragon Knights:

Emerging: T: A story about Rath and Cesia and the reason I know I’m bad at writing romance stuff. It takes place after Cesia is kidnapped. Rath and crew go to rescue her and certain things are revealed that make them look inside themselves a bit more. It might get finished one day, but that’s looking incredibly doubtful. Chaptered. SEMI-PERMANENT HIATUS

Angel:

Backtracking: T: Written as a stream of consciousness one day when I was inspired to write. It’s about what Lindsey was thinking as he died in “Not Fade Away.” Since I’m usually in denial of his death when writing, this was an interesting departure for me. He’s kind of character-bashing himself in it; fair warning. Drabble-ish; only about 500 words. One-shot. COMPLETE

Angel/Leverage Crossovers:

Convergence ‘verse:
Things Eliot Hates: K: Original start to this ‘verse. It was written because my mind connected Eliot’s hatred of guns to Lindsey’s getting shot since my Angel/Leverage crossovers tend to live in denialverse where Eliot is Lindsey. It’s about all the things Eliot can’t stand because of Angel and company. About 900 words. One-shot. COMPLETE
Convergence: T: The sequel that wasn’t originally supposed to be. It’s about what happens after Angel shows up in Boston. Faith gets involved as well (on Eliot’s side) and there’s a coven of evil witches. Eliot’s trying everything in his power to keep his team out of things, but they’re a bit too nosey for their own good. Chaptered. Around 25,000 words. COMPLETE
The Slime Monster: K: Convergence wrap-up. Why is Parker in Eliot's apartment in the middle of the night? Traipsing through the sewers sucks. About 700 words. One-shot. COMPLETE

The Lawyer Equation: T: Started as an AU version of “The Juror #6 Job” if Eliot was actually Lindsey, since Lindsey was a lawyer, but is now a multi-chapter story. Started out as pure crack-fic while me and my friend were re-watching the episode, but turned into a legitimate story. It’s about Eliot and his struggle with both past and present. Pure comedy. Chaptered. INCOMPLETE

Thor (Movie-verse):

A Trickster Distracted: T: A story in which Loki falls to Earth Post-Film and things happen that are hilarious. Mostly because Loki actually likes these new friends of Thor's and keeps trying to convince himself he doesn't. Slow-burn Loki/Darcy. Chaptered. INCOMPLETE

6/27/11 After much absence, I am back! This time bringing a Loki/Darcy story! I totally say Thor 5 times in theaters and absolutely love it, so this seemed like the logical next step. And this pairing makes me happy. I'll be updating The Lawyer Equation shortly as well.

7/2/11 So much writing happening right now. I have so many open stories or 'verses (some of which are not yet posted) that it's freaky. Soon to come: more for A Trickster Distracted, more for The Lawyer Equation, a Supernatural story called The Job, more for Convergence 'verse, perhaps a re-post of Sesshomaru's War since it's one of my favorite things I've ever written, and an Angel fic that's been a long time coming called One More Shot. On the 'possibly' list: an X-Men fic, new Angel/Leverage 'verses, Harry Potter future-fic, and a Supernatural/True Blood crossover that's been floating around in my head. Feel free to hit me up with a message if you want to become a Beta for any of this.

*9/18/11* Wow, it's been a while. Just got a new chapter up for Trickster and there should be more coming up pretty soon. I got really, really stuck and started writing stuff for further down the line because I couldn't write the next chapter. But on the plus side, those things should be posted quickly!
