Author has written 21 stories for Naruto, Bleach, Tactics, D N Angel, Anime X-overs, Inuyasha, and One Piece. Fire says: New news! As of 2008 Nov 1: Gomen nasai, minna. I've been going through a rough patch since my grandmother passed away last year. I've just begun going through the last chapters of Wait for Me: Searching, and I'll be uploading them soon. In the meantime, I'm also writing the last book of the Wait for Me series. No more after that. I promise. It's long enough as it is. And the Glossary is updated once a week, so you'd want to read over it again if you haven't done it in awhile. You'd be surprised at how much it has grown. Fire: Here we are! This is a joint account for Fire and Sand! I'm Fire no Kumo--call me Fire or Kumo--and this is the lazy-bum Sand! (whispers to Sand) Should I tell them your real name? Sand: (glares at Fire)... Fire: Uh...just Sand then! Sand: (pulls out Gaara) This is my cowriter. (turns to Gaara and points to Fire) Put out Fire. Gaara: (looks at Fire) Sabak-- Fire: (screams) No! NONONONONONO...NO! You can't put me out! I'm not really made of fire! Gaara: (narrows eyes at Fire) ...Kyuu! Fire: Waah! (yells out) Sasuke, save me! Sasuke: (looks at Gaara) No. (pulls out Naruto) You save Fire. Naruto: Um...Gaara, you're trying to become a nice person, remember? Gaara: (lowers hand from Sabaku Sousou and turns to Sasuke) I'll just leave your cowriter like this. Sasuke: Fine. Sand: But you're a psycho, remember? Gaara: (undecided) ... Fire: Um...I'm supposed to help Sand become a better writer. Do you really want to do all the work? Gaara: (looks at Fire) Maybe in a few months, I'll kill you. Fire: Well, here's a list of info you might want to read, otherwise just read our stories. I update more than Sand since Sand's a recluse. Naruto: (points to self) What about me? Sand: No one cares about you. Naruto: Waah! Fire: Well, read on! You don't want to listen to us bicker any longer! All Fire's stories are written with the help of Uchiha Sasuke (copyright Kishimoto-sensei) Fire: Yes there is romance, fighting (blood and violence), angst, tragedy, adventure (somewhat), and horror (somewhat) in the Wait for Me series--and any other series that I might want to write--so I'm trying to figure out what genre is best. For each book, I'm just going to put what is most prevalent but these genres listed are in all of them! So, warning to you all: my stories are written in SG (Screwed-up Genre) where anything can happen. That means if you get offended easily by anything in particular, avoid them. Stories by Fire: (I've decided to group them together depending on series and relevance of their grouping) Wait for Me Series Naruto: (in cronological order according to the story's timeline, not in the order I wrote them; cronologically, it's Leaving, Crystalline Mirage and Following, Aku no Yami and Searching) Wait for Me: Crystalline Mirage--a Naruto fanfic written with the help of Naruto and Kakashi (along with Sasuke because he oversees everything)--Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke centric--a prequel to the first book to explain how everything came to be how it was at the beginning of the first book (since Sasuke is supposed to be with Orochimaru, there must be a good reason for the shortage of missions and Kakashi must have had a reason for being missing for so long, and blah, blah, blah current state of Naruto anime and manga). Probably written more for people who have read the first book and have a lot of unanswered questions, but if you like SasuNaru yaoi and happy endings, this might be for you. Like I said, it stands on its own. How long do I have to keep repeating this? (romance with mild humour) Wait for Me: Leaving--a Naruto fanfic written with the help of Sasuke and Naruto (also copyright Kishimoto-sensei) currently finished-Naruto and Sasuke centric--first book in the Wait for Me series but each book stands on its own so if you don't want to read the whole series, you can just read one. You'll still get a sense of the storyline although you won't get the big picture. That's only if you read the whole series. (tragic romance with a lot of angst) Wait for Me: Aku no Yami--a Naruto fanfic written with mostly with Sasuke--Sakura and Kakashi centric--a sidestory to Wait for Me: Following to explain what happened to Sakura during the month between the time she left Konoha and the time she arrived in Oto. If you thought Sakura was OOC in Following, definitely read this. It will explain how she changed. Written more for the people who read the second book and has a lot of unanswered questions. If you hate Sakura and want to watch her suffer, this could be for you. I torture her a lot in this story (warning for Sakura-lovers). And this stands on its own--like all other stories I write--although it does go into the second book, Wait for Me: Following, so don't yell at me if it seems to end on a cliffhanger. (slight romance, mostly darkfic, angst, mildly tragic) Wait for Me: Following--a Naruto fanfic written with the help of Kakashi and Sakura won't be loading it until the first book has been uploaded--Kakashi and Sakura centric--second book in the Wait for Me series. Also stands on its own, like the rest of the books in this series. (dark romance with some angst but mostly just a lot of dark) Wait for Me: Searching--a Naruto fanfic written with the help of (another two Naruto characters in addition to Sasuke but you'll have to wait for the second book to finish loading to find out whom)--(and of course the story will be centered around these characters)--third book in the Wait for Me series. This is the last book so if you're bored of reading my writing by now, you can finally stop. If I get enough requests for a sequel, I might write one more. And yes...this does stand on its own so if you don't want to continue reading or if you just want to read this kind of story, you can stop, or just read this story. It's up to you. (angsty romance with a lot of angst, mildly tragic or very tragic, however you want to see it. Slight darkfic. And when I say dark, I mean this will be dark. Not for the faint of heart.) For Bleach: Red: The Colour of Flames (title going under revision; I'll post it up when I have a final title for this story)--a Bleach fanfic--Renji and Tatsuki centric with minor Orihime, Ichigo, Rukia and Rangiku sides--written with the help of Renji, Sasuke (of course), Tatsuki, Orihime and Rukia (who just wanted to screw around with Renji's life), and proofread by Ishida--because he's so smart and too arrogant to allow anyone else to do it--so for all my Naruto fans, gomen nasai. This is a TatsuRen fic so if you don't like it, don't read it. I personally love this pairing because I see a lot of potential in it. This is not a series--just a story in two parts--so don't worry about it being too long. Projected loading of the first chapter is in mid to late February/March (I'm revising the storyline so thedeadlinehas been pushed back, gomen again), unless I get distracted by the Wait for Me series, but I doubt that. And no matter how tragic this is, this will have a happy ending so don't cry too much when you read this. (tragic romance with lots of angst, some fluff and some humour) Oneshots done by Fire: Burning Fire--this is an OrochiTsunade--is it written like this? I don't know. Arrgh!--just because I love this pairing. This is a oneshot so don't kill me if you want more. There's an actual OrochiTsunade fanfic with multiple chapters coming up in the works but I'm still hammering out the storyline. Projected loading of the first chapter should be around early February or early March unless I get distracted by the Wait for Me series or Red: The Colour of Flames. (some romance, a little bit of insight into Orochimaru's character--what I think he's like inside) Blood Covered Stars--another Bleach fanfic. This is a TatsuRen oneshot for the TatsuRen C2 community, Moonbeams of Fire. There's really nothing more to say about it except that there's fighting in it. Can you guess? (romance, action--as in fighting--and some angst because for some reason, I can't write anything that doesn't have angst in it) Fire's Summaries: (complete summaries for people who are curious about what happens in the entire story--oneshots not included, not grouped in any particular order) Wait for Me: Leaving--Sasuke had agreed to go on a date with Sakura just so she would stop asking, but misunderstandings arise between members of Team Seven as Naruto is suddenly left out of the group. With Kakashi-sensei nowhere in sight, Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto is tangled in a world that even their shinobi knowledge couldn't get them out of. The confusing world of Love. And with Kakashi's return, everything just becomes more and more complicated. Their world is about to turn upside down, and things will never be the same in Konoha again. Onesided SakuSasu. SasuNaru yaoi. Wait for Me: Following--there is a mysterious new ally in Otogakure and Kakashi was the one who discovered it. In the strange aftermath of Team Seven's tragedy, Kakashi receives the chance to bring back a bit of normalcy...but things aren't that simple. With unknown factors hanging in the air, there is a mountain of obstacles in his way, and out of those obstacles, unexpected twists of providence and destiny, luck and fate, the forbidden and the proper, bring back two people he never thought he would see again. But the result will test Team Seven in ways that they never thought to encounter. Onesided SakuSasu. Mild OrochiSaku. Some KakaSaku at the end. SasuNaru yaoi. (I'm not going to be changing the SasuNaru or the Onesided SakuSasu pairings in this series) Wait for Me: Searching--half a yearsince Team Seven's tragedy, things are finally getting back to normal...with one big difference. Nothing was normal. It couldn't possibly be normal again...but Sakura and Sasuke aren't going to give up that easily. They have a goal in mind and they aren't going to give up just because it seemed impossible. Against all odds, they will test their skills to the fullest extent but are love, strength, friendship and dreams really strong enough to keep everyone togther? Especially when Sasuke has more than a few doubts. And with Akatsuki back in the picture, things are just going to get more complicated, especially when Akatsuki might be able to give him what he really wants. A lot of problems hang in the air with insanity sending one into madness and that same madness tearing another apart. So the main question is: what about Naruto? Onesided SakuSasu. KakaSaku. LeeSaku. And one more pairing that I can't reveal yet because it will spoil the series, but it's possibly the second or third most important pairing after SasuNaru and SakuSasu!(If you want to know who she ends up with, you'll have to read it) SasuNaru yaoi. Wait for Me: Crystalline Mirage (prequel to the series)--for the first time ever, there is snow in Konoha, but there is more to this sinister winter than just snow. Itachi is behind it all, and when this master of genjutsu has a goal, he isn't going to give up. With Naruto's fate, and the power of the Kyuubi on the line, an unknowing hero wanders back into the picture. Sasuke, the only one who can break the genjutsu returns to Konoha, but he will have to face a phantom of his past, a ghost he isn't ready to meet again. Onesided SakuSasu. Mild ItaNaru. SasuNaru yaoi. Wait for Me: Aku no Yami (sidestory to Wait for Me: Following)--a month passes between leaving Konoha and arriving in Oto, but it doesn’t take that long to come to a place when she knows the location. How did Sakura’s personality change so drastically in four short weeks? How did she come to the conclusion that Orochimaru could help her? Find out what prompted Sakura to see the Sannin and exactly what she was thinking when she had to face Kakashi-sensei again. Moral/Lessons of Fire's Completed Stories (now oneshots have them too!): Wait for Me: Leaving It is selfish to ask someone to wait for you. Tragedy only waits for love born out of accepting this request. The pain of worrying often sways unwavering devotion, but when a promise is kept such unwavering devotion is worthy of respect. Not everyone is capable of keeping such a dense promise. Fire: Remember, you’re only human. Whether you give in to worry or stand your ground, do not regret the choices you make. I’m sure Naruto never did. Wait for Me: Following The strongest emotion someone can have is hatred. It is the driving force behind progress, but consumes entirely. When you look back, what will you see but the destruction of those blind actions? Sometimes, you need to take a step—or several—back. Forgiveness and understanding can be more important than beckoning vengeance. Fire: I think I went a little overboard with the theme, but Sakura, Sasuke and Sasori all had thoughts on and acted upon vengeance. Sakura destroyed an entire hidden village and killed a lot of people. Sasuke accidentally killed Naruto and spent a lot of effort bringing him back. As for Sasori…he could have been doing it for fun, but he really wanted to hurt Kakashi and Sakura. Good thing he stopped himself before he did anything really serious. I’m sure you all remember that he destroyed an entire village with his Aka Higi: Hyakki no Soen. As for forgiveness and understanding, that doesn’t have to come from the avenger. It just has to come from the people around the avenger. Support is very important to keep someone from committing another crime. It has been proven in studies! Wait for Me: Crystalline Mirage Dreams are only visions you cannot hold in your hands. It is more important to shape dreams into reality than to allow others to determine your fate. The path you walk down must be your own because in the end, only you know what it is you had dreamt. Fire: Sometimes, it can be easier just to dream and forget about reality, but if you don’t take charge of reality, someone else will. Itachi might not see very well, but he can definitely see every step toward his goals. Now if only he saw Sasuke coming… Wait for Me: Aku no Yami There are many things in life that people want to achieve: love, happiness, friendship, prosperity, strength, a peaceful life…vengeance. But the goals that survive through hardship are ones with strong determination and strong emotions supporting them. Even if the emotion is hatred, as long as it is strong, anything can be sacrificed for that one goal. Fire: Hm…I think I summarized everything here. Sakura’s very determined in this one. She’s really crazy, ne? And her goals… I’m not even going to think about them! – –;; Wait for Me: Searching Fire: I'm not putting it up until it's done. Stop checking already! Ano-sa, Kakashi-sensei Lies can hurt others, and they can hurt yourself. Whatever lie you may say for whatever reason you may have for saying it, know when to stop, because in the end, you only hurt yourself. Fire: TT TT Kakashi-sensei has a really bad lying problem. It's his way of being in denial about his emotions. Of course, I put none of that in here. This is about Kakashi and the consequences of lying. Burning Fire Painful regrets. Events of the past shape the present, especially in the course of a person’s life. No matter how small the misunderstandings, the unchangeable troubles of the future can still grow from those small seeds. No matter how much you might regret those actions, the past cannot be changed. Only in the present can you shape the future. Fire: Too bad Orochimaru’s present leads to a future where Konoha is destroyed. If only he can direct that stubbornness toward something more positive. Blood Covered Stars “We’re all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.” This quote is from Oscar Wilde. Meaning: man or woman, human or shinigami, there are good and bad things waiting around every corner, but it takes a special strength to look past the fear, the pain, the blood and the dirt that covers us all and see what is truly important. The positive things in life outweigh the negative, and someone will always be there to point it out when you can’t see it. Fire: Special strength means that everyone has it. It just takes longer for some people to find it. Sometimes it takes a lifetime. Sometimes it takes longer. Sometimes a lot shorter. But at some point or another, everyone slows down to the point where they can see those stars. Fire's C2 Community: (I told Sand so it's okay that it belongs to me ) Inexplicably Tied Together by the Red Strings of Fate I went into the C2s listed for Gundam Seed and saw that there is no C2 for YzaKira! It's a crime! I love that pairing! So I made one for everyone who love YzaKira. I do write YzaKira although none are posted at this time. That's because they're still being written. I want to make sure that the stories make sense before posting them. Sometimes, my mind goes off on a tangent, and my subconscious mind in charge of all foreshadowing and subplots goes to sleep on me and doesn't write the connecting paragraphs properly. So here you go! Expect more YzaKira in the Gundam Seed fandom because I'm here to write them! And no, there's not necessarily going to be yaoi, shounen-ai or M-rated material in this fandom although it will be in here as well. Anything that focusses on Yzak and Kira is fine, even if it's just a friendship fic. I just see too many possibilities for these two to ignore it. Warning: No quality control over content of this C2 at this time. QC will be established when more stories are added and stories may be dropped from the C2. I don't try to be mean, but I only want fics that don't portray Yzak and Kira as too OOC, have good grammar, have a good storyline and have logical plot progression. I will put in AU, only if it makes sense and is original otherwise they will be ignored. If you wrote an YzaKira and want it to be added to the C2, please PM me about it and I'll read your story, leave you a review and add it to the C2 if it's really good. But I really love the YzaKira pairing, so even if I don't add it, I'll still be happy to find a story about them. If you send me a hate PM, I'll understand. I don't mind angry rants. Fire and Sand’s Glossary: (yes, it’s combined) Fire: I use the widely used Hepburn system of romanji--the English friendly romanji, as opposed to the Japanese phonetic romanji (the Japanese friendly romanji)--so if you think it’s spelled wrong, it’s not. And please don’t ask me about the food listed here. I have eaten them all before and know exactly what they taste like. For recipes, search online. Legend: Words listed in the glossary so you can look it up if you want to know more Definitions (explanations) Warning: If you want the complete glossary for Bleach—in case you don’t understand the terms used in the Bleach fanfics because there are only a few widely used terms here—pm your email to me and I’ll send it to you. A Bleach fanfic focussing mainly on Yumichika and Kunieda Ryou (if you don't know who this is, visit the Bleach fansites then come back or read the manga. She's the brainy girl with long black hair, a mole next to the left eye, is really tall and always has a book with her. I'm sure you remember her)--written with Ryou. It's a little weird so if anyone doesn't want an out of body experience while reading--we're not responsible if you lose your body, begin floating around or die while reading this story--you might want to avoid it. It's really funny, so if you want to laugh, this is for you! (humour, slight romance--yes that is for Yumichika but it's twisted--some action--meaning fighting for the sickos out there--and if you're a Yumichika fan, please don't flame me for the cruelties commited to the guy) Sand: TT TT I had this one finished too, but...that was before stupid Pixel died on us! O_O# If anyone wonders what kind of face I made, it was an irked one. I'm not sure if that's correct though. Gaara: (glares at Sand) I was about to take a nap before you shoved Shuukaku back into me. Sand's too lazy to do it now) Joint projects written by both Fire and Sand: Itachi's Shoes--actually better than it sounds so give it a try. Oneshot, complete unless anyone wants additional chapters concerning anything else Itachi might have to get in order to join Akatsuki (ie the manicure, the cloak...) Neji's Hair--another humour and we're keeping the exclusive interviews. This one has an omake so definitely read it. Oneshot, complete, and we're not planning on expanding it since it wouldn't make sense at all. Fire's Quotes: Fire says: Keep compassion in your heart, sincerity in your mind, and empathy in your soul. With these three things, move forward and live a life without regrets--my own personal quote of me--This is what I believe in. I know that it's similar to Naruto's nindo, but not really. I don't want to explain what a nindo is here, so if you still think I stole it, give me a PM and complain to me. Istarted believing in this long before I watched Naruto Fire says: Time is...too slow for those who wait. Too swift for those who fear. Too long for those who grieve. Too short for those who rejoice. But for those who love, Time is not--Anonymous--I think this is inspirational. If you don't think it's inspirational, you probably think this is cheesy. Personally, I think it's a little of both. Fire says: Compassion is a calm mind--Tonzin Gyatso-14th Dahli Lama--I love quoting the Dahli Lama. He's such a smart man, but for fourteen lifetimes, he has to be. I really believe in this. Compassion isn't just about charity. Fire says: Attachment brings bias--Tonzin Gyatso-14th Dahli Lama-said of Religion in general--Another one of the Dhali Lama. I know! I should stop, but if people would just keep this in mind, we wouldn't have religious wars. I really believe this. I am a buddhist, and I love buddhism, but we teach peace and acceptance so I would never want to kill for it. What does that say about Christianity and the Crusades? Fire says: If you have a higher goal, then passing will come by itself--Touya Akira-Hikaru no Go--This is about remembering the big picture. This puts everything in perspective, and as an author that's very important. Sometimes, we think about finishing a chapter so badly that it affects the rest of the story. That's bad! The quality of a story is only as good as the worst chapter! Fire says: Never give up! Never cower--Shindou Hikaru-Hikaru no Go--An inspirational quote. I think this is very similar to Zangetsu's words to Ichigo though. The ones translated from Viz. You know which one I mean! Fire says: I walk my own path with sincerity and heart to make others see me in a different light--Hikaru no Go-No one in particular said this. I was just a part of the general text. I thought it was inspirational too, but of course, it wouldn't be here if I didn't think it was inspirational. Fire says: The truth: you could slit my throat, and with my last gasp of breath I’d apologize for bleeding on your shirt--anonymous--I can't remember where I got this from, but I really like it Fire says: A writer has to be a little schizophrenic in order to write a good story--a quote of me, again--What can I say? It's a truth about all writers, but I can't forget anyone so I have a few hundred people in my head with me. Fire says: The Truth may be difficult, but if you don’t face it, you might as well be dead--Amon-Witchhunter Robin--I like this quote of him. It really summarizes who he is. Fire says: If the thing you want to protect is different, the sense of justice would be different too--Ishida Souken-Bleach--He was saying this to Ishida Uryuu. Such an inspirational quote! And this truth is sotrue. I like the way he summarizes the reality of justice. Fire says: Admiration leads you away from the truth--Aizen Sousuke-Bleach--I think this is so true! What kind of blind faith must it be to ignore the truth, especially when it's someone like Aizen! Waah! He's evil for crying out loud! Stop loving him already, Hinamori! Fire says: The curtain that falls down at the end shall be pulled down by the blade of my sword--Kuchiki Byakuya-Bleach--I love this line. It really shows his determination. And I love the philosophy in it too. Fire says: Don’t take advice from someone more messed up than you--Brad-my boss--It's simple, but it makes perfect sense. Fire says: If I had four hours to chop down a tree, I’d spend three hours sharpening the axe--Benjamin Franklin-First President of the United States--If you're confused about what he's saying, send me a PM and I'll explain it to you. It's going to be long. Fire says: To resist the influence of others, knowledge of oneself is most important--Teal'c-Stargate SG1--Just something I agree with. Don't kill me if you don't know who this is. Fire says: It’s not important how many people I’ve killed. What’s important is how well I get along with the people that are still alive--Jimmy the Tulip-The Whole Nine Yards--Yes, it's a movie. I don't know how to spell his last name so I substituted his nickname. We're more familiar with this name than his real name anyway. And I think this is so true! Fire says: Strength is not the absence of flaws; it's accomplishing your goals in spite of them--anonymous--I don't remember where I got this from. It could just be something I said long ago to someone or something from somewhere but I completely agree with this. Fire says: Romance is best served with tragedy. It accentuates each other like salt and sweet--This is me just because I realized I haven't quoted myself in awhile. This is my opinion on romance and if you don't like it, you probably won't like my stories. Anyway, this has nothing to do with the endings, so if you're lucky, the characters won't die at the end, but I make it a point to have someone die in each story I write. Cross your fingers and hope it's the bad guy. Fire says: The meaning of “eternal rise” equals “infinite possibilities.” As long as I can escape people by one step, I don’t make a target. “Yearn after nobody.”--Hayase-Charisma Doll--I thought this was inspirational. Definitely read this manga if you can find it! Fire says: If he rips my arms off, I’ll kick him to death. If he rips my legs off, I’ll bite him to death! If he rips my head off, I’ll stare him to death! And if he gouges out my eyes, I’ll curse him from beyond the grave--Naruto-from Naruto--I thought this was good. (laugh) It really summarizes his character and his determination. Fire says: Poison is a stealth killer, effective in minuscule amounts often undetectable. It’s the treachery in the arsenic-tainted glass of wine. The fatal attraction: Snow White’s poison apple, the death-defying art of the snake handler, the Japanese roulette practiced by those who eat fugu--Cathy Newman-National Geographic--I really like this quote. And it's so true! Fire says: All substances are poison; there is none which is not a poison. The right dose differentiates a poison and a remedy--Pracelsus-Sixteenth Century German-Swiss physician and alchemist--a quote from an alchemist? I thought this was true too. I've certainly believed it for a long time. Fire says: Those who feel lonely are people whose hearts are incomplete, because there’s someone they want to see, but they can’t--Kazushi-Sweet VS Home (a yaoi oneshot so for those who don’t like yaoi, you might not want to read this)--even though this was a yaoi oneshot, there's no sex in it, so I should really say shounen-ai, but it's good! It's a really good romance manga, so if you can stomach that the people in love are both guys, definitely read it. They're so cute! But as for the quote, I love it! And what it's saying is so true! I completely agree with him Fire says: Power without justice is incompetent. Justice without power is also incompetent--anonymous--I got this from .hack/sign. Crim was quoting someone, but I forgot whom he was quoting. Fire says: Whether life brings sunshine or snow, you must live through it--I forgot again--I thought this was so true! I think I got this from .hack/sign, again quoting Crim, but I don't remember. Damn my memory! Fire says: I'm not a big competitor. I don't need to win, except today. Today's the Day of Reckoning!--anonymous--I really like this quote, but I forgot where I got this again. Someone help me! If you know, please tell me so I can give credit to the person who said it. Fire says: The foundations of the nation's greatness lay in the home--King George V, King of England--He said this when he was still king. If you don't know who this is, he's Queen Elizabeth II's father. --;; He was talking about mothers and the women in the home. I thought it was really nice. Fire says: To talk without thinking is to shoot without aiming--Dixie Chicks--I got this from their video for Not Ready to Make Nice. It's written in their video, not sung in their song, so don'tbash me for not hearing it in their song! Isaw it and thought that it made sense. It's a good song. So if you haven't heard it, listen to it! Fire says: Let me create a universe for you--yes, this is a quote of me--I've been saying this for years so I forget that others don't know what I'm talking about. Sof you might be confused when I talk about universes. When I write a story, I create a universe for the characters that live there. I built them pasts, homes, entire extended families, a government structure to rule them, etc, and the universe exists with its own set of laws, physics, boundaries that they can't cross. Before I start writing, I say this phrase to the main characters ofthat story, and they generally trust me to make them a good universe to live in. Does this make me crazy? Anyway, when bad things happen to them, they yell at me and are sometimes abusive. If you know Sasuke, or Yzak, or Ishida and Renji, you'd know what I mean. Fire says: Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world--Albert Einstein--Kyaa! My first quote of Einstein! Okay, not the first one I heard from him, but the first one I thought of quoting. Good, isn't it? Fire says: When you're looking for a friend, don't look for perfection. Just look for friendship--Anonymous--Waah! Another anonymous quote! Tell me if you know where this is from, but I think this quote really says something about human nature. We're not gods dammit! Don't expect someone to be perfect! Even the supporting characters in your stories have their own lives, their own families, and their own problems. Fire says: What you can do, or think you can do, begin it--Goethe--I don't know who said this. I got this quote from a friend, but I think it's very important to keep this quote in mind. I always thought it, but never got to put this down in words. So, here it is! Don't wait to do something, just do it! Fire says: Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there--Will Rogers--I have no idea who this is! Waah! I wish I knew. This could be a great person! Anyway, I really like his quote. It's said in such a creative way. But if you know who this is, please tell me so that I know. I want to know! Fire says: Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes--Mark Twain--I never thought I'd find a Mark Twain quote that I like. It's very difficult, and I've seen a lot of them. But it's another very straight to the point quote. No one should be confused with this one. Fire says: It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you don't stop--Confucious--This is inspirational. I like what he's saying for once. Fire says: A hug is a great gift-one size fits all, and it's easy to exchange--Anonymous--Another anonymous quote. Those of you who know I like hugs, I know you were waiting for this one! Fire says: Do no dwell on what you did not do, but believe in what you do--Anonymous--Okay, I'll try to stop with the anonymous quotes, but I really like this one. I goes right into my mantra at the top of all the quotes. Fire says: If your parents never had children, chances are, you won't either--Dick Cavett--I think this is such a funny quote. Interesting and funny! Finally, an ironically funny quote! Fire says: To love is to receive a glimpse of heaven--Karen Sunde--I think this is true, but if you've read the Wait for Me series, you'd also know how ironic this is. Fire says: Even if you have to be a janitor, be the best damned janitor in the world--Anonymous--I don't remember where I got this. All I know is that it was a sitcom. If you remember, I'd really like to know who said this inspirational quote. Fire says: Striving for excellence motivates you; striving for perfection is demoralizing--Harriet Braiker--I have no idea who this is either, but look at the quote! Fire says: Love is not blind-it simply enables one to see things others fail to see--Anonymous--I like this quote. I think it's really true, although I don't know if it's better than the byakugan... Fire says: When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace--Jimi Hendrix--I don't know if I spelled his name right. Tell me if it's wrong. I just think the quote is great. Another quote to apply to politics. Fire says: To love is to admire with the heart. To admire is to love with the mind--Theophile Gantier--Writers take note of this! This is important if you want to write a good romance. Mistaking who you love comes out of this mistake of love and admiration. Fire says: Last night, I stayed up late playing with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died--Steven Wright--Such a funny quote! (laugh) Fire says: Children need your presence more than your presents--Jesse Jackson--A child-rearing tip! I would love to say this to so many parents that I know! Stop spoiling your children, damned absent-minded parents! Fire says: I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming a man--Chang Tzu--A very zen saying. I think Neji would probably meditate on something like this, except instead of the butterfly, he would have birds. I really like this quote. It really uses the full extent of verb tense to facilitate this confusion. Fire says: Love is like a butterfly. Hold it too tight; it'll crush. Hold it too loose; it'll fly--Anonymous--I think this metaphor says it all. Fire says: Neither fire nor wind, birth nor death, can erase our good deeds--Buddha--I think this is the only reason we need to do good things. Fire says: Youth comes but once in a lifetime--Henry Wadsworth Longfellow--(laugh) So true! Use it now, while you still can! Fire says: Nothing is as real as a dream. The world can change around you, but your dream will not. Responsibilities need not erase it. Duties need not obscure it. Because the dream is within you, no one can take it away--Anonymous--Perception is so important! Read Wait for Me: Crystalline Mirage and tell me how well I really integrated this quote. Fire says: If what you're working for really matters, you'll give it all you've got--Nido Qubein--So does it matter? Stop sitting there and do something about it! Fire says: Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny--Frank Outlaw--I love the way this was said. Fire says: Everyone is trying to accomplish something big, not realizing that life is made up of little things--Frank A. Clark--Need more be said? Sometimes, you should look at the little picture. Fire says: I may not amount to much, but at least I am unique--Jean-Jacques Rousseau--Say this next time someone tells you that you're a loser and won't amount much in life. Fire says: We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope--Martin Luther King, Jr.--Inspirational? Yes. Fire says: Life is now...this day, this hour...and is probably the only experience of the kind one is to have--Charles Malcomb Flandrau--Another funny quote. But also so true! Fire says: Life would be indefinitely happier if we could only be born at the age of eighty and gradually approach eighteen--Mark Twain--Kyaa! Another Mark Twain quote! I love this one! Fire says: Manifest plainness. Embrace simplicity. Reduce selfishness. Have few desires--Lao-Tzu--Don't know who this is? He's the guy who wrote the I-ching, the Taoist holy book! Anyway, each sentence was supposed to be its own line, but for the sake of perserving space, I made them into sentences. Please forgive me, Lao-Tzu! Fire says: Trouble will come soon enough and when he does come, receive him as pleasantly as possible...the more amiably you greet him, the sooner he will go away--Artemus Ward--Good one! I thought it was metaphorically very good. Fire says: Courage us what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen--Anonymous--Very true! I wish I knew who said this. Fire says: The world stands aside to let anyone pass who knows where he is going--David Stan Jordan--I agree with this. Tell me if you disagree and I'll explain to you what this means. Fire says: By all means, use sometimes to be alone--George Herbert--I already follow this, but if you're not doing this, please do it. This will really help you write better. Fire says: Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your vision is the promise of what you shall at last unveil--John Ruskin--But don't forget the lesson taught in Wait for Me: Crystalline Mirage! But waah! Uncover my forshadowing why don't'cha! Fire says: He who plants a tree plants hope--Lucy Laicom--I love trees, so I like this quote. But hope? I have to think on that. Fire says: If we only wanted to be happy, it would be easy; but we want to be happier than other people, which is almost always difficult, since we think them happier than they are--Charles de Montesquieu--I agree! Most of the people out there are miserable! Fire says: There is no fence to sit on between Heaven and Hell. There is a wide deep gulf, a chasm, and in that chasm is no place for any man--Johnny Cash--I was so sad when he died. I loved his music, and I love the way he looks at the world. Definitely contemplate this quote. Fire says: My vengeance shall rain down upon all those that cross me and I wil crush them as if they were nothing, engulfing them in flame to burn eternally in hell--Anonymous--I got this off someone in a forum. I really like this quote. |
