Author has written 15 stories for House, M.D., Great Gatsby, National Treasure, Tin Man, Greek, Parodies and Spoofs, Spring Awakening, Paranormal State, Lord of the Rings, and Inkheart. Name: Abby Location: U.S. Info: I am random. I love orange juice and Sprite. I'm a theatre geek. I dislike the color yellow on most things, except daffodils. I love to say daffo-down-dillys. I don't like clowns, with a few exceptions. IT is not one of those exceptions... I desperately want to be in a Broadway performance. I have a blog. I jump up and down a lot before I go onstage to "shake out the nerves." I have deep respect for Hugh "Excellent Sermon Vicar" Laurie and Stephen Fry. Top hats are amazing. You wear one and you're pretty much ok in my book. My one true love will always be the Mad Hatter, I loved him even before Tim Burton attempted to thrash my image of him. I consantly say things like "What's your damage?" and "Wicked!" and "Whoa..." and "Bloody hell!" which kinda makes me wonder if I've been watching too many British films and 80's flicks. I hate pogo sticks but love skipping ropes. I'm not a morning person. Among the "profanities" I frequently yell are SARGH!, GRAH!, and Snickerdoodles. The Labyrinth is awesome, deal with it. I went through my hair dying phase early but suspect I'll go through it again. My natural hair color is auburn. I'm super pale and have NO desire to be tan. I love Ramen noodles and expect to live off them in college. See the F.A.Q below for more and send in a question if you'd like to see it there. I don’t want anyone to know my real name. Q: What does the R stand for? A) That’s classified information. Q: Seriously? A) Yes. Q: Moving on… What are your interests? A) I love faeries. Q: Fairies? Why? A) I read a lot of faerie stories growing up and they’ve always fascinated me. Q: Why do you spell it faeries and not fairies? A) I prefer using the Celtic spelling. More authentic. Q: Do you write anything other than fanfics? A) Yes, I write poetry, short stories, and I’m currently working on a novel called Iron of Hearts. Q: What’s it about? A) It’s about a teen aged girl named Cecile that moves back to her small, seaside town in Massachusetts after four years in New York. Upon her return, she finds that her best friend has been killed. Not to mention she is now being stalked by a faerie. She soon gets drawn into a frightening world of evil Faeries, angry Sidhe, and vicious Imps. Q: Sounds intense. Is this a story for any age or older kids specifically? A) It’s more geared towards the high school and college age kids but hey, who am I to tell kids what they should and shouldn’t read? Q: Do you like to do anything other than write? A) Actually yes, I’m part of a sing and dance choir, I’ve taken drama classes since I was eight, and I dabble in photography. Q: What kind of photography? A) Mostly still life like flowers, trees, a leaf, a bug, or whatever happens to catch my eye. I also like themed photos about anything from love to Alice in Wonderland. Q: Why Alice in Wonderland? A) Because it’s cool. Q: What kind of movies do you like? A) Just about everything. Horror, Classic Disney, Action, but Musicals are my favorite. Q: Fill in the blank: I am afraid of _. A) Clowns, falling airplanes, and being in elevators. Q: Why clowns? I find them funny! A) …I’m giving you a death glare… Q: Ok… Fill in the blank: The most decadent thing I indulge in is _. A) Dark chocolate. Q: Fill in the blank: _ is so annoying. A) Running out of ice cream. Q: Do you have any secrets? A) None that I would tell you. Q: What’s up with Time of My Life? A) I’m working on it. There are only a few more chapters left. Q: Will there be a three-quel? A) No, sorry. Q: Are you gonna write another House M.D. story? A) No. I still love House but I’m working on some other things right now. Q: Anything interesting? A) You’ll just have to wait and see.
