Author has written 22 stories for Hellsing, Labyrinth, Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Star Wars, Sorcerer's Apprentice, 2010, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Sherlock. Bibliophile. Artist. Author. I spend the vast majority of my time stumbling into new fandoms like a drunkard, and then binge-reading as much as humanly possible. As for my own fanfiction, I'm a fairly long established author. I've written across multiple fandoms, websites, and pen-names over the course of nearly 20 years now. When I'm not busy writing or becoming obsessed with a new fandom, I can usually be found knitting or watching movies. I can also be found at AO3 under the name Ergott. With the exception of Addendum: He Is Also A Liar, most of the stories I've posted at AO3 are not on this site. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS August 18, 2017: Despite my best intentions, Addendum still essentially ended up in hiatus. The good news is, I'm back! The big move is finished, and while the next two and a half months promise to be crazy in terms of travel and family obligations, I'm still very excited for the opportunity to focus my attention back on Addendum--to date, it is both my longest running fic and has the highest word-count! Chapter 29 has only just begun its earliest drafting stages, but the tentative plan is to get it up before September. April 12, 2017: Life just continues to happen at its own speed, doesn't it? We had a few pressing trials over here at House Ergott, but we pulled through like we always do and we're all the better for it now. Unfortunately, this does mean my family is moving again. We're old hats at this--I've got something like seven moves under my belt since early childhood--and it's still very much early days in this process. Our house will very soon be going up on the market though, and if you've never lived in a house that's for sale let me tell you that it is next to impossible to maintain routines and hobbies. The hope here is that we sell quickly so we can spend the summer exploring our new town, but there's really no way of knowing how that will unfold. Similarly, I don't have an accurate picture of how this will influence my writing or the time in which I devote to Addendum. Writing is often my default stress response, but without being able to maintain some kind of schedule I'm just not sure when I'll have the appropriate amount of time. I want to stress, however, that despite all this I am not saying that Addendum is going on hiatus; I am still writing, and I will let everyone know when the move is actually happening and roughly how long I'll be without internet (theoretically, it shouldn't be more than a few days). If you have comments or concerns, or even just want an update on what's going on or where I am writing-wise, please don't hesitate to PM me! I try to be prompt in my responses and I love hearing from people. (If you would prefer to email me, you can find my new gmail on my AO3 profile page, where I am also called Ergott.) Some lovely and talented readers set out to draw a few of their favorite scenes: Sardave did a wonderful drawing, called Crossing paths, from chapter 11 of Dramatic Orchestrations. You can find it here: http:///deviation/57294482 Here is my own rendering of Sarah's dress, from the later chapters of Dramatic Orchestrations. http:///deviation/57420131 I got bitten by the drawing bug, and came up with a loose interpretation of what the stone imp from chapter 38 looks like. The orginal sketch turned out better, mostly because it didn't get mucked up with an amateur's attempt at watercolor. Anyway, take a look, it's not perfect but I still rather like it. http:///deviation/59640419 Fireshifter did a wonderful drawing of Sarah's dress. http:///art/Sarah-s-Green-Dress-73344800 Miffunebunny drew an astounding interpretation of DO's chapter 34, In the Hall of Mirrors. http:///art/In-the-Hall-of-Mirrors-68691151 I'm beginning to think that dress was quite popular, because Aytheria also drew a wonderful picture of it, in her scraps at deviantart. http:///art/Sarah-Fanart-for-Ergott-70569399 eternity.dusk did a beautiful drawing of Harley. It really captures the insanity! http:///art/Harley-Quinn-146538870 If you have any fanart for my stories that you'd like to share, PM me a link and I will add it to the others! |
