A/N I dont own anything. Not Tin man, not the poem, not Wizard of Oz
I didnt have to look the poem up either, creepy hunh?
"Daddy? Can you read me a story?" DG asked sweetly, perforating the book toward the inventor.
"Princess. I'm not your father. We discussed this, remember?" Ambrose blushed. "I' m Ambrose. Or Uncle Nam."
"Ambaross, can you read me a story?" DG insisted, thrusting T was The Night Before Christmas into his arms. "I can't find Ahamo anywhere, and Mom has meeting a with the winkies. She has to read over the alagators and find a diplumatic desicion."
"Is she still looking that over?" Ambrose asked in surprise, having finished the same report 3 hours ago.
DG nodded with solemn blue eyes.
"I guess that leaves me then." He smiled and went to the old sink where he washed his hands off, then took the princess up to the library where the chairs were more comfortable. "Will Azka-d join us?"
"No" DG shook her head quickly, making her dark curls dance. "She says Santa is all children s stories and fools delusions."
"I assure you he is not." Ambrose replied in a mortified tone.
"Do you believe in Santa?" DG grinned.
"I most certainly do." Ambrose replied.
"Then Az would say you were a fool."
"Does your mom think I'm a fool?"
"No." DG grinned "She thinks you re the smartest man in the realms." she giggled as he blushed.
"And what do you think princess?"
DG shrugged.
"It's important for you to think for yourself."
"I think you should -read me the story." DG grinned, dipping her head to one side.
Ambrose laughed. "Alright then Princess. Would you like me to pick you up?" Ambrose placed the toddler on a comfortable part of the couch and sat beside her. The small girl immediately climbed into his lap.
"Comfy?" He smiled to her laughing face.
"T was the night before Christmas and all through the house, Not a creature was ,not even a mouse."
"Why would they be stirring? Was the soup on?"
"No DG, that just means everyone was sleeping. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there."
"How does Santa get down the chimenty?"
"He uses a Personal Matter Antimatter Teleportation and Defragmenter machine. It makes him small so he can fit down a chimney."
"How do the reindeer fly?"
"They have Transportive Self Sustained Flight Suits." Ambrose replied patiently and continued reading.
"But Ambaross, how does Santa get to all the houses of all the children in the O.Z. and the Otherside and E.V. and all the other places he needs to get to?" DG asked as he shut the book.
"Santa has an Alternate Dimension Super Speed Transmoder attached to his sleigh." Ambrose replied. "It makes the Sleigh go really, really fast. And travel from one dimension to another in a matter of seconds."
DG Laughed. "You're really smart Nam, but I don t think Santa uses a Alternate dimension super speed transmoder attached to his sleigh." Dg skipped out of the library to put the book back, humming softly to herself.
"He better use the Alternate Dimension Super Speed Transmoder." Ambrose pouted. "It took me 9 months to build it."
