All Things Being Equal is on hiatus for now as are my other serial fics. I will return to them at a later date but, for right now, I just want to take a break from them and just do smaller, individual fics.

I'm starting to finally clear out some of the outstanding fics on my list-chips away at the mountain with a chisel-and I figure I'll get it caught up in a few years. It's a start, at least. :) It will take time and I'll do my best to get them out in a timely manner although it will be awhile before that happens. I do apologize for the wait and thank you for your patience. :) I haven't given up on my serials and I will keep with them until they are finished so no worries there! It's just going to take some time to complete them all! :)

I like reading, writing (poems and short stories), sketching (a rank amateur though I do need to spend some time practicing. :) ), cooking, CFL/NFL/NASCAR, History (I'm a passionate History buff and love many different eras such as Medieval England, Civil War America, early Canadian history & Canada in WW I & II, Ancient Egypt,Greece & Rome, the Victorian Era, The Black Death Era, 1347-51, among many others), listening to music (a wide variety including Euro-pop, German Techno, classic/hard/soft rock, pop, some J-Pop, some heavy metal, some country & instrumental) & video games (such as Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Parasite Eve, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, Final Fantasy VII & VIII, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow/Symphony of the Night/Aria of Sorrow/Harmony Of Dissonance/Circle of the Moon/Portrait of Ruin, Clock Tower 2, Phantasy Star Online, Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, Van Helsing.)

In my writing, I tend to deal very much with emotion and metaphor. I'm also a big fan of slash and yaoi and write pretty much exclusively in those two areas although I did do a yuri piece once as a gift. I'm also a big Mercedes Lackey fan and enjoy her Valdemar series of books.

DezoPenguin, one of my favourite fanfic authors, has a wonderful collection of fanfics ranging from Castlevania to Phoenix Wright. Definitely worth a look. :)

I've been here awhile so I thought that my profile page could use an update. :) I liked the way Lyrical Rawr did hers so I 'nicked' the style and used it for my own, adding the 'Rated' to it for my own touch. ;D Thanks LR, for the inspiration. :)

Comments: Professors seem to be disappearing at an alarming rate at Cromwell University and turning up dead in some very gruesome ways that were common methods of execution in antiquity. Phoenix wonders if these murders at the University have any connection to reports of numerous disappearances of street people occurring with alarming frequency over the past three months and, when the mutilated remains of a homeless man who disappeared three weeks earlier are found, he's convinced that the answers lay in the University.
Now Phoenix, with help from Miles and Gumshoe, is in a race against time to prevent another murder and bring the killer or killers to justice. However, thwarted ambition is a dangerously lethal mix when added to a already unstable mind and it explodes in violence as death pays a visit to its next potential victim...

I'm very excited about this fic! I'm a HUGE history fan-and have been for many, many, MANY years-so I'm happy to have a chance to write two fics using real history! :)
