Haha, I loved this! I'm so glad you wrote this! It's nice to see new content for these two even after all these years.

So there's new KnM content for the first time in years. I guess Kaishaku realized they're irrelevant and people only like their Yuri stuff with Chikane an Himeko. So in a bid for revitalization, they're doing another Chikane and Himeko timeline that hopefully won't be shit. From the scans I've seen it looks pretty good, I guess it's based on a Light Novel that was never translated, but that people did like. But what's out isn't in English yet so I'm still in waiting. Still, it's pretty exciting that after all these years Chikane and Himeko can get some more misery and happiness and stuff.

HAHAHA! I know of plenty of charity boardrooms I've sat in that could have used this to liven up their dreary meetings!

Did you just... make a clever fairytale masterpiece that was so beautifully done I forgot I was reading fanfic? Why have I not seen this until now? I’m at a loss for words at how happy this makes me. The tone was prefect for the theme and the twist was well executed and I love it, love it, love it. I wish I had a whole book of this. Tell me you have published work so I can pay you for this.

Kissing each other silly while one has a snotty nose is the cutest thing. They are just so cute together. I also love how Chikane has already accepted that they are meant to be in this AU. It’s so wonderful to see where their relationship might have gone if they gave it a chance. Without their sacrifice duty ensuring pending doom anyway. Also love that but at the end. So clever.

Well there's always next time. Although I imagine parents would be very confused about mysterious letters or something coming from toddlers.

So I got my periodic “I have to reread DezoPenguin’s KnM fics even though I haven’t watched or read the source material in years, just because they’re such good stories” itch tonight, and imagine my absolute delight when I saw a couple of new Omake chapters! This one in particular was just beautiful. The new setting was described so well in such a short space of time, and I really liked the flipped scenarios with Himeko being from nobility this time (and Chikane makes for an amazing witch).
Himkeo’s method of confessing to Chikane was so absurdly complex and yet in the end very direct, which is just so...Himeko. It’s no wonder my smile just kept getting bigger and bigger the more I read. Thanks so much for the new content!

And totally unrelated, I reread Sins in the Moonlight recently and you said there was a Seiiki Amnesian joke in the smut scene and I really want to know what it was. I got around to reading it a few weeks ago and it wasn't that terrible tbh. The whole sword fighting action hero Chikane is something I really wish was in KnM (one reason KnS is so good amazing and why I checked out Lovers Eternal) so that was cool. But it seems like the last few chapters weren't ever translated so I was left on a cliffhanger of Chikane being rekt by herself. I really want to know how that ended too. Whoops got sidetracked. My point was im dumb and couldn't figure out the joke.
