Someday, I am going to Hawaii and living there. I want to live on the beach front. For now I am settling with collecting sand from different beaches. Many of my friends have been bringing them back from me and I have quite the collection now. I love writing fanfic, especially Emergency!, NCIS and Hogan's Heroes and I love reading them! I am trying to expand my Dukes of Hazzard fanfic, so bear with me as I am trying to work on my stories. I also am trying to write for Hawaii Five-0, X-Men, Star Wars and The Greatest Showman. I have been at this for a long time and have quite a few stories to finish. It’s just been hard since life gets in the way. *Update: I am so sorry my dear readers. I do apologize for not updating sooner on my profile and stories. I was diagnosed in August 2016 with Stage III colorectal cancer. I have had 11 surgeries 7 hospital stays, 3 infections and 12 rounds of chemo. In fact I had major surgery on 11/21/17 to fix a large hernia and make my ostomy permanent. Then had to have my gallbladder removed first of please be patient with me and I will finish my stories in a timely fashion. -Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who voted for my story The Ring and made it a Bronze winner of the PBA 2011!* -I am a hopeless romantic and I love angst and drama! I hope everyone enjoys reading all my stories. -To understand some of my Emergency! stories, the character of Karen Summers is my original character. Yes I understand she may not be along with cannon sometimes, but she is so fun to write! There really is no progression in cannon for her. Eventually I will try to write a story on how she came to the station. Some have recently criticized that she's a Mary Sue, but she's not. I have used her in stories long before I started on this site. Thank you to all who have defended my use of an OC in my stories and have begged me to finish any story she is in. Notes for my story F is for Falling (and other complications): Again Eden, thank you so much for your kind words in review to chapter 5. I decided to post these notes in my bio, since I knew it would be lengthy. I had wanted to use my experience because it had been so traumatic for me. I knew that if I wrote it out in a story, I could finally put the last year and half behind me. Yes, you read right, a year and half. The ones who left anonymous reviews and basically said that what Karen was going through was nothing and that I was Mary-Sueing it, well obviously you have never been that sick. I can tell you, because of all the medicine you have to take, it messes with your emotions. I did go through some bouts of loneliness and sadness because of the fact that I was really sick and couldn’t do too much for long before I was so exhausted. Let me tell you a little about what happened. I was going up on a porch and had the fifth stair up give way, taking my toenail off and scraping my leg. I honestly thought that it was not that bad. It was not to be. A week later, I woke up 4AM puking my guts up. I couldn’t walk without crying and holding a wall just to get from my bed to the bathroom. What had started out as a simple scrape had turned into the worst case of cellulitis I have ever had (yes, I‘ve had it before). The skin from my knee to my toes was bright red and my leg was swollen three times its size. My doctor prescribed pain medicine and antibiotics to fight the raging infection I had. I had to take a pain pill just to put a blanket on my leg. If I didn’t take one, I would just about scream in agony. Anyway, the abscess I had showed up a week later and was the size of a softball, not “pimple” size. My doctor had to do an ID (incision and drainage) twice in one week. The part about the wicking in the abscess was absolutely true. I had to pull out a half an inch everyday and cut it, to allow the abscess to drain properly. That’s when I had to switch to another antibiotic, because the three before hadn‘t worked because they were for staph infections. I had to take two rounds of penicillin for the strep infection, bringing the total to five rounds of antibiotics in two months. Because I was stupid and wouldn’t stay off my feet like my doctor told me too, the small hole that the wicking had been pushed through grew. By the time my doctor sent me to a surgeon, it was about a half to three-quarter inch deep and about an inch wide. I literally had a hole in my leg. It took about five months to finally close over. In fact, I still have some trouble with my leg swelling when I stay on my feet for too long. I’ll be glad if the scar goes away, but realistically, I know it never will. It will be a constant reminder of why you need to take any infection seriously before it gets out of hand. - Waikiki23 I am 33 years old an never been in love yet. I think this poem applies to me: Girlsare likeapples on trees. The best ones areat the top of the tree. Theboys don’t want to reachfor the good ones because theyare afraid of falling and getting hurt.Instead, they just get the rotten applesfrom the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top thinksomething is wrong with them, when inreality, they're amazing. They justhave to wait for the right boy tocome along, the one who'sbrave enough toclimb allthe wayto the topof the tree.
