LOL! Poor Capt Stanley and fish! It was a great story...I loved how they welcomed him back...the fish cake and the 5 surprise fishes! They deserved latrine duty...but for a whole month, Cap? Those will be the cleanest latrines...you will be able to eat off them! LOL!

It was refreshing to read a story that is more humorous instead of serious. This story really made me laugh. I can just imagine Cap being more distressed by smelling fish than he is about being injured. I really enjoyed it :)

That was a cute story. I too hate dead fish. I can swim with live ones, love them in a tank but a dead one ... urgh! I think there's a name for that phobia but I'm not sure what it is, I think it was in another story on this site. I could just picture Cap in with that smell. Nicely written.

I asked Mike Norell once if he liked fish and he said he did ONLY if it was done right and he was the one doing the cooking! He said he didn't particularly care for clam chowder though.
