It was a great story and I really enjoyed reading it since I had just finished watching the movie.

I've seen people like them. One extremely knowledgeable of how a person thinks and another closed off with deep problems. I've seen them become so close they call each other brothers. And it's extremely beautiful to watch such a true friendship.

I really wish things could have been different. I wish they could have stayed friends.

I really enjoyed the story, and I like how you write Charles and Erik (quite similar to my own vision of them, actually).

I do have to argue with you over your author's notes at the beginning, though. You can't really claim to know anything about "inaccuracies" in any Marvel Universe, since Marvel has established the existence of multiple universes, including their rather controversial "Ultimate" universe where Quicksiver and the Scarlet Witch are incestuous, and Magneto breaks Charles' Xavier's neck for no possibly motivated reason. So unless you are trying to claim there are some irreconcilable differences btwn First Class and the other 3 movies (which, there really aren't if you have enough imagination), then you really should do a bit more research into Marvel's multitude of unique universes.
