Hey everyone, I'm Fortune Spirit, but you can just call me Fortune! I'm fifteen years old (sixteen in January of 2019 actually) and I'm interested in Art, Media, English and Psychology - I hope to take these next year in Sixth Form. I like cats and I actually own three. Though I think myself a cat person, I absolutely love dogs all the same (plus hedgehogs and foxes are adorable too!). I'm a little... strange, but hey, normal is boring anyway!

I absolutely adore Sonic the Hedgehog, among other things (like Five Nights at Freddy's, Warriors {as in Warrior Cats by Erin Hunter} and Good Mythical Morning to name a few things that I'm totally obsessed with). Unfortunately I haven't been able to play that many Sonic games or read many of the comics, so my references may not be entirely accurate, but I do have "extensive" knowledge on the games and comic plots thanks to the internet and one of my closest friends (Shout-out to Techmonized Wolf!). I, myself, don't think that my writing is any good, but my family and friends seem to think so, so I decided to give it a shot and upload a few stories on this site. I can thank Anonymoux-Sonic for giving me my flare back, so if you haven't checked out Anonymoux's stories, please do, because they are fantastic! They helped me personally find the strength and courage to upload again, so thank you Anonymoux, from the bottom of my heart!

Anyway, I don't really know what I should be writing here, so I guess that I'll just talk about the types of stories I write.

I tend to go for stories which involve a ton of gore, so if you are already disinterested, I would leave now. I go for this because one of my friends, who I shall refer to as 'Poof', told me that I have the perfect writing style for talking about blood and stuff. I don't personally see what she is talking about, but hey, Poof seemed to like it, so I guess I did something right!

Next, I tend to write exclusively about Sonic. I may sometimes throw in a little reference to another game or a book or something, but I will mostly be writing about Sonic for now. Poof doesn't particularly like me "Wasting my talents on stories about a stupid little rodent" (her words not mine), but I rather enjoy writing about the little bundle of happiness and energy. Sonic and his friends (and enemies too) are so diverse and I love the way they all interact with each other, or maybe that's just me...?

Another thing I think I should add is, that if you are looking for Sonamy or Sonally or something, you've come to the wrong place. In my stories, Sonic tends to be paired with Shadow, Scourge, Fleetway, Mephiles and sometimes Knuckles. So, once again, if this is not your thing, I would leave now. As I write this I realise that these are all technically rivals/enemies of Sonic, but whatever... I'm not weird, I swear...

I would also like to add that I will never pair Sonic with Tails (no offense to those of you who do!); I see them as really close brothers and friends and nothing more, so those of you who like Sonails are in the wrong place, my friends. :3

Also, OCs aren't usually a thing in my stories. I may add in one as a side character that no one pays attention to for plot reasons, but as an actually character, they will most likely not appear in any stories, despite me having a ton of OCs... Let's not talk about those... (I can hear Tech flipping through my art folder as we speak!)

I'm not entirely sure what else to add in here, other than I like to punish the characters in my stories for some odd reason and that I may not update stories often because of writers block, school and just generally being distracted by YouTube or other stories on this site. (Wow, I am bad at profile stuff, huh?)

I'd also like to apologise if I do not update/publish anything for a while or there are long gaps between uploads. I'm lazy, so I don't really have an excuse, so sorry! I'm trying to get better, but sometimes I just don't feel it. I write a lot, but most of it I don't feel is worthy to share... perhaps one of these days I should just upload a story with a ton of short stories I never finished or don't think is great and get your thoughts on them...? Hmm... perhaps... Let me know if you'd like to see the extensive cringe from my phone!
