Ugh! I’ve been waiting all day for the chapters and lemme tell you it was soooo worth it. Keep up the good work and I so very enjoyed the last 2 chapters. One thing I’d like to point out is I’m surprised Sonic’s injuries aren’t at all infected as they’ve been messed with over and over but I guess it doesn’t matter a whole too much. Anyway keep up the good work looking forward to Friday’s now!

I love the way you did the flashback type scene, really sweet!
I'm also surprised with myself that I managed to read that small piece of text when Sonic was asleep. Though it did take me a couple of minutes. Very tricky, but cool nonetheless!
Also, I like how you included Ebony and Pyjamas!
I don't know what to say anymore without repeating myself, so I'm going to repeat myself...

I loved seeing more of the duo's origins in the past, seeing how Sonic saved Tails again and getting to know each other before the fox decided to join him. And I bet neither one doesn't regret that decision.

They got to escape some more robots and sought refuge with some Resistance allies at least. It'll probably take another long time for the two to heal, mostly Sonic of course.

And when I saw the glitched text, I thought it was a mistake. But I saw the words behind it, as if it really felt like it was being said in a nightmare. I don't know how you or others do it. Although things like that make me uncomfortable, it's fitting based on the tone and pace of the story.

As soon as I finished this chapter, I just got the notification for Ch. 8. Huh. Convenient for me, I guess.

The ending here was really adorable between Tails and Sonic, even though the latter was letting out his emotions, thinking his little buddy would abandon him. But it was so heartwarming when the fox told him that he would never leave him and will love him as a friend and a brother. It's literally a role reversal between these two where we don't see this side of Sonic normally. And the setup that brings these two together in a close way is deeply emotional.

If I recall, wasn't the original version like 20 chapters or so? It's crazy to hear that you're going for at least 5x more; I mean, going over 100?! That's a high standard, but I wish you the best of luck as well as your safety in these current times. :)

Damn! 100 chapters?! Shit, set the bar high for yourselves. But I still love this story! I love these moments between the brothers and anxiously wait for more of Sonic's backstory. Keep up the great work!

I hope you guys are staying safe too, and what an amazingly done chapter. I like the occasional cut away to what the others are doing and how they are trying to find Sonic and Tails. I also love the way the relationship between Sonic and Tails is done, and how Tails is the one looking after Sonic for once.

Over a hundred chapters? Wow, that's ambitious! I hope you all don't over-extend yourself. I've both read and written quite a few stories that stalled out midway through because the author couldn't live up to their own ambition.

I just dove straight into this story tonight, and it is just incredible. The sheer emotion is overflowing, the dialogue is cracking, the level of Dr. Eggman's maliciousness...god, I could go on forever. There are quite a few passages I'd love to quote word-for-word here but I can't for reasons of convenience. I'm excited for more.

I kinda teared up at the end of this chapter. Tails and Sonic are best brothers and I will personally murder Eggman if he lays another finger on them.

I really hope Sonic and Tails will make it back to Shadow and their friends. They need backup for the battle that is to come.

Also, LOL, Tails knows that his big bro's got a crush on Shadow :D
