Hello people of FanFiction! My name is YellowDragonMuffin and I have officially joined your civilization! I write Pokemon fanfictions about the ships I like and I doubt I will ever write about anything else!

Hello!!!

I felt like doing a random update so here's some random things because why not:

(Edit 04/06/16) Also if we used to talk I'm not sure if i said this before but i would feel kinda strange picking up on in some cases around a year and a half old conversations - I'm sorry! TO EVERYONE: I really want to write again. I miss writing so much! But it's been so long since I've properly watched the pokemon anime that I'm scared I would just make all of the characters really ooc and all the stories would just be bad! I'm sorry but I really don't think I'll ever properly come back to writing on here. Hey who knows I may put up a one-shot from time to time but with exams coming up and just general life/head stuff who knows! But there's always hope. I just want to say thank you to everyone that has ever read one of my fanfictions, whether you left a review, followed it, favourited it or just read it. It really did mean a lot. :)

TO PEOPLE I USED TO TALK TO: I miss this place. A lot. It's all I've been able to think about for the past 2 days. If you haven't my above notice (which wouldn't really make sense but w/e) and we used to talk then PLEASE let's talk again over twitter if you have it and if you would like to talk again! I really dislike the layout of this website and I would feel a bit weird picking up conversations that I left like a year ago (or more oops). I'm sorry I just kind of disappeared from everything. It was stressing me out thinking about the fact that I was so uninspired with writing ideas and hadn't written a fanfiction in X amount of time. Also a lot of it is explained in the notice I wrote last March (wow that was a long time ago it does NOT feel like that long ago). 18/03/15 - Important

Hello. Been a while, eh? Quite a long while, with no explanation...

I'm really, genuinely, truly sorry.

It's going to be quite hard to write down everything that's happening and how I'm feeling about fanfiction right now, but I'm going to try.

If you spoke to me a lot on the forum (you know which forum if you were on it) then you might remember I used to become distracted by youtube a lot. Like, a lot. Well, I'm obsessed with it now. Zoella, Lukeisnotsexy, emmablackery, danisnotonfire, AmazingPhil, Nikinsammy, SamKingftw. You name them, I'm probably obsessed with them. I even have a twitter fan account! But I won't say what that is on here. Fanfiction just became something that wasn't important compared to youtube anymore. Coming on fanfiction, which I had contemplated doing quite a few times, just feels like... a chore. NOT the talking to all the amazing people there are on here because I love that I made some amazing friends on here that I wish lived around the corner! But that's unfortunately not possible. No, just the thought of logging onto fanfiction felt like a chore that I did not want to do. I don't really know why because I used to be obsessed with this place and on here 24/7. Maybe it's the thought of reading the fanfictions? I know I don't have to do that but I really don't know what it is. Maybe it's just the site, I never really liked the way the PMs or forums worked. If there was some other way I could talk to all the amazing people I met on here without giving out my number then trust me I would in a heartbeat!

Basically, what I'm trying to say is, I'm not quitting this website. I'm not promising I'll be active AT ALL I may not come on for a year I may come on tomorrow! All I'm saying is that I'm not going to force myself to come on here because it makes it feel more like something that I don't want to do. I might sometimes post a fanfiction if I feel like it! I don't know what's going to happen with me on here. Just...don't expect too much. Also, I'm doing my GCSEs now which means big scary mock exams and exams this year and next and coursework left right and centre so I don't really have enough time to be on here loads because I am TERRIBLE at time management!

(This probably has no structure and makes little sense and probably has loads of mistakes - sorry! It's not planned this is 100% spontaneous)

There are also other things like my real life friend has been going through a rough time so of course we're all trying to help her get through that as well.

Forums and DMs

This is mainly for people I DMed or spoke to on the Contestshipping day party forum! Yeah, I won't be very active. Basically, just please don't expect much and don't be angry if I pop up out of the blue...please? I still love you all and I'm sorry I randomly disappeared like this. I won't being replying to any PMs today as I want to give people and chance to see this and it's quite late right now! And fanfiction deleted a bit of this when I saved it and I can't quite remember what it was but basically I won't reply to PMs today and I will get everyone's chats (because I had quite a few with some people) down to one and please PM me if you have any strong feelings about that :)

Regarding Contestshipping day party, I don't think we should try and make it like it used to be. That may sound really weird or something but we really will never be able to return it to how it used to be no matter how amazing that would be because we're all different people now I feel and it just wouldn't be the same. We can still chat on there but trying to force it to be how it used to be I really don't think will work. Couldn't all those fun times just be fond memories to look back on when we're sad or down or just want to remember? I think that would be nice.

Fanfiction.net has honestly changed my life. I'm not just saying that. It has definitely helped shape me to be the person I am today there's no doubt about that to me and I made some amazing friends and spoke to some amazing people. If you are reading this and we ever spoke then remember that you were amazing and I never disliked anyone I spoke to as you were all truly great people and amazing friends.

Um... I'm not really sure what else to say. Some of this may come off as harsh or rude or not make sense but I do NOT mean to offend anyone or hurt anyone's feelings. Recently, I sort of didn't go on Fanfiction for quite a while (months, actually, oops -"), apart from one time when I came on for about a day. And I just wanted to have the chance to say: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I know that every time I come back I say that "this time I will be better and I will come on loads and loads more", and it just never happens. But, this time, I genuinely PROMISE that I will make a GIANT effort to come on loads more, back to my old self, on virtually every day. I still do love fanfictions as well, but I haven't really been getting much inspiration. I know that inspiration is everywhere, and I just need to look for it. And that's what I'm going to try to do. I'm going to try to find my inspiration again and get writing stories. I really do miss this place, and it feels good to be back :)

Hair: Ginger, wavy, medium length

Shirt and colour: Grey long sleeved top
Pants: Blue skinny-ish jeans

Pokemon team: Charizard (though may sometimes be a Charmander if it's easier - Has a mega Charizard Y), Mudkip, Staraptor, Sylveon, Sylveon, Togepi - They are all high level-ish I just don't evolve some Pokemon. Other Pokemon: Butterfree, Teddiursa.

Paul was also always more civil to Dawn, I mean, he actually had a whole conversation with each other and Dawn WANTED to talk to him, she wanted to get to know him! ASDFGHJKL I JUST LOVE IT!!)

Oldrivalshipping/ LeafGreenshipping/ whatever you want to call it! (Gary x Leaf) (These two are like perfection! If Leaf had been in the anime - which she so should have been - then these two would have ended up kissing in one of their ridiculous fights! They are too cute together! Caffeineshipping (Mina x Jaiden) (Some of you might be going, 'what on earth is she talking about?!' but it's two of 'stocky-parker-dog's' OC's and they are such a cute couple they even have their own shipping name! You need to check out her stories and see how cute Mina and Jaiden are as a couple! And of course real life Mina and Jaiden, too! We all love a bit of Caffeineshipping!)

SecondChanceShipping (Brianna x Brendan) (Me and Anica, Contestshipper16, were confused as to why this shipping had no name so we decided to name it! Anica thought of it and we both agreed on it so we are naming it this as it's like giving them a second chance with love after May and Drew! I think those two are cute together, especially as they would no longer interrupt Contestshipping! So that's why I support them!)

GeekChicShipping (Clemont x Serena) (SQUEEE!!! This couple is just too cute not to ship! I don't really like Amourshipping (nothing really against it, I just want Ash with Misty, and I can't really see it happening with Serena's personality against Ash's) and I saw these two together and I knew there had to be a ship for that! I looked it up and this came up and now I love it! GeekChicShipping forever! I can just imagine the whole beauty and the geek thing happening and Clemont really being the one to develop Serena's personality in the anime, that would be awesome!)

KalosShipping (Calem x Serena) (I sort of count this as my game Serena ship but I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! It's so cute in the game and I could basically see the sparks flying off of them every time they spoke to each other!! Noting I played as the girl character, Calem was actually always really nice and respectful from what I can remember, which isn't like normal rivals in the games. They were MEANT TO BE!!)

Hypershipping (Barry x Bianca) (This is a nevermet shipping that could really work, they have quite a but in common with the whole knocking Ash over thing which I thought never really got unfunny and I think they could just be really cute!)

Wishfulshipping (Iris x Cilan) (I just think these two are adorable together, they could be so cute!)

Rocketshipping (Jessie x James) (Okay, I feel like maybe James has yet to come out of the closet, but if he doesn't, then I think these two are adorable together! They hate each other but they love each other all at the same time!

Winstrateshipping/ Punyshipping (Max x Vivi Winstrate) (I thought it was really sweet the way they were all crushy and adorable! Stupid Ash's Corphish! I seriously have hated Ash's Corphish since I saw that episode even more than before!)

Fourthwheelshipping (Max x Bonnie) (Yes, yes, I ship Max with two girls when in reality I should be shipping him with 0. But they sound so cute together! This is a nevermet shipping that could really work! They could just be adorable!)

ShootsDownShipping (Zoey x Kenny) (I just think that if the two got to know each other, they could be a really cute couple, I think they'd be one of those really lovey but not too open about it ones!)

So if you have a problem with that, don't take it out on me, I have my likes and you have yours!

There are shippings which I don't hate, but I don't ship... If that makes sense XD

I also love iCarly and am a Seddie shipper (I hate how it ended with a creddie scene!)

I am also a Folive shipper, Fletcher and Olive for the win!

I liked Loliver when I watched Hannah Montana and I was so happy when they got together!

I don't think any ship will ever happen in the Pokemon anime, this is because, in all honesty, I think the writers would be too scared to make a shipping 'canon'. This is because, say they made... ShootsDownShipping happen in the anime (just an example, it works quite well as an example for this actually), Pokemon could lose a lot of fans that ship Kenny or Zoey with other people, or just simply do not like those two together. Losing fans means losing money, and losing money is the last thing the Pokemon company wants to happen. It could also cause a lot of hate to happen to the show, writers and the people who like the two together, and hate is the last thing people want to happen in Pokemon. Also, for the target audience, I don't think romance in the main characters would be the best step forward. I personally think the most they would do is hints like they have so far. Of course, as a Pokeshipper, I'd love it if Ash and Misty got together in the anime, but at the same time I'd hate it as a lot of people would disagree, and would be hurt that their shipping didn't happen. I know how much it would hurt me if a shipping I don't support happened, and I don't want supporters of other ships to feel that way, it would be totally unfair.

Just a little ramble of why I think no shipping will/ should happen in the Pokemon anime for all you! ;) Remember: I have my opinions and you yours, so no hate if you disagree please!

1. Misty - She is amazing, fiery, awesome, independent and she has ginger hair… that’s always a plus. Just everything about her really! She’s also a half of my OTP!

2. Gary - I love Gary, okay, I’m not in love with Gary, I just like his character. He could always fire Ash up, like at the battle frontier even though he wasn’t even there! He’s also kind of… cute… And he's plain awesome! PhD at 10, looks cute in science lab coat, has 10 Kanto badges, he dressed as Indiana Jones... Do I need to continue? Half of one of my favourite couples!

3. Ash - The obvious choice, I know, but without Ash, we would all be lost. He is cute and funny and never gives up. He’s saved the world how many times? He’s also a half of my OTP!

4. Max - Now, some people really hate Max, they see him as a know-it-all who was a waste of time and space on the show, but I really like Max’s character. They gave him depth and his own storylines, he is kindhearted, especially when he meets Ralts and befriends it in a short amount of time. I just really like Max, he was a good character.

5. Barry - A lot of people also hate Barry, but I think he’s funny and awesome! I laughed every time he knocked into someone or fined someone! Half of one of my favourite couples also!

6. Brock - Brock is hilarious. He is such a good character and was there for Ash for ages. He was a good friend, good at what he does, good with his brothers and sisters and never abandoned them. How many times was he pulled away from girls just to go back and try again? He even somehow always managed to get up after a poison jab - how?

7. May - May is a good character. She brought a whole new depth into the show, brought coordinating into it which made a whole new interesting storyline. She was also really kind, a good friend and a great coordinator. Also a half of my second favourite couple! (I actually want May higher up the list since I've done this list as I've grown to like her more, but I can't be bothered to do the whole list again, so you can just pretend she's higher up! XD)

8. Paul - Paul was a great character, he represents the player in the game (though he is a bit more cold hearted to say the least!), training his Pokemon relentlessly just to make them more powerful and never properly befriending them, since playing with Pokemon was only brought in gen 6, X&Y, you never really cared for your Pokemon before, only wanting to make them strong, so Paul kind of represents the player, but maybe more cold-hearted. He was also a strong trainer and an overall awesome character. Also a half of my 3rd favourite shipping.

9. Dawn - She was also a good character, like May, friendly, kind and a great coordinator. She is quite annoying sometimes though, high maintenance and putting her looks first sometimes, but I guess no-one’s perfect, huh? She also developed the show, bringing a new depth to coordinating. Also half of my third favourite shipping!

10. Drew - Drew is… I don’t know, hard to describe why I like him really. It was a toss up between him and Dawn for 9th spot, so I guess him and Dawn are both 9th and 10th. But… he cared for his Pokemon well, cared for May even though he was reluctant to show it. He was a great coordinator and… he has green hair… wait, what was I saying? Half of my second favourite pairing. (Like May, I sort of want him higher too, but I don't really know where I could put him!)

11. Zoey - Not many people think about Zoey when saying their favourite characters, but I really like Zoey, she was a good character, she had depth into her character even though she wasn’t a very main one. She was also a great coordinator and she shouted at Paul! I love that moment. She also has ginger hair, always a plus!

12. Bonnie - Yes, yes, she has been in hardly any episodes and I shouldn’t really be judging her yet, but she is really cute and funny. She also tries to match Clemont with all sorts of girls which is really funny! She even tried to get him with Serena, and I quite like Clemont and Serena together!
Also Clemont! I like them both, and you can't possibly put one sibling before another (even though I did that with Max and May and Misty and Brock's siblings aren't even on this list...) Clemont is just funny and smart and makes awesome inventions!

13. Cilan/ Iris - I didn’t really like the BW series, it went downhill, but I quite liked Cilan and Iris, and I can’t decide who should go first, but it doesn’t matter because they look cute together anyway!

14. Jessie/ James - These guys have been in soooooo many episodes that it’s almost impossible to not put them on this list! I really like those two, they are really funny and I love the original motto! I can’t decide who should go first but I think I might like James slightly more… They’re also a cute couple!

15. Virgil - Virgil was cool, he had all the eeveelutions and now he has a new one to add to his collection, Sylveon! He won the Unova league without breaking a sweat, how can you not like him?

16. Cynthia - Cynthia is absolutely amazing! She is an awesome champion, a female one as well which adds to the awesomeness! She is beautiful, powerful and a feminist, what more can you want from a character?!

17. Tracey - I haven’t seen too many Orange Island eps, but he’s pretty cool. he also does really good drawings and what I would give to be able to draw like him! Also in the film, “Are you talking about me?” made me laugh waaaay more than it should have! He’s also funny in Pokemon bridged, which isn’t the anime but whatever!

18. Bianca (BW) - I said I didn’t really like BW, but yet I have a lot of it’s characters on here… Oh well! Bianca’s funny and I laughed every time she pushed Ash into a fountain! Also she is a half of one of my favourite shippings!

19. Cameron - I feel he’s slightly overlooked, but he’s still a good and funny character. He beat Ash’s 6 Pokemon with 5! That’s awesome.

20. Solidad - Should probably be higher… Oh well! She was really kind and nice and pretty, she was also powerful and I thought it was a really good storyline how she knew Drew, Harley and Brock before she had even come onto the show! She was a good character and half of one of my favourite shippings!
