Didn’t expect to check my emails and come across this! This was one of the many fanfictions I read in middle school, now i’m in highschool cringing back at the little fan girl phase I had. Crazy how a story about childhood characters training dragons brings back waves of nostalgia. Might give this a reread to refresh my glory days haha

I love this story so much it’s one of my favorites on Fanfiction and I’m so happy you updated it yay! There aren’t enough good Leaf and Gary fanfics

I have no words... Seeing Savoire Faire having 31 chapters made me think twice like, "Whaaaat? Is this real?" I was so sure it was stuck at 30 forever.

Actually, I haven't read the chapter yet as it has been a long time since I read the whole story and I'll probably be rereading it after this. I just skipped to see the author's note if there was one. I'm actually SO SO SO happy that the two of you updated. When the story didn't update for a long time, I removed it from my bookmarks when I was cleaning it out. Despite that, I always find myself searching for this everytime I get on fanfic(which is like once or twice a month). This story has captivated me so much that I found myself coming back to it. I actually ended bookmarking it again at some point but haven't checked in a while.

Anyway, this is my first time reviewing for SF so I just wanted to say that your story is amazing! I may not fully remember the details of the story at the moment but, the fact that I always came back shows that it really left an impact on me to this day. Although a long time has passed, I really hope you can both finish the story someday. I have so much more to say but I think I'll save it for next time when my brain has processed exactly what I've wanted to say xD

oh god :((( you have no idea how happy i am to see this was updated.. i'd always check back every other week throughout 2019, and seeing it update in 2020.. my year is starting off RIGHT. i waited patiently for this, i can patiently wait for sf32! and sf33, sf34.. if you do those, that is. i hope it's okay to say i really look forward to where you go with this story, and to you two finishing it, but i also get if you don't, i'm just so thankful to have it in my life and see it updated, it's one of my favorites of all time. i hope college is going well for you two, please take your time(s) and take care of yourselves 3

I literally freaked when I saw that there was an actual update to this story. I was always hoping you'd return to this! I thought that there was so much thought and love put into the story that you two wouldn't let it die :)

No worries about your individual lives taking priority over writing. Lol I'm majorly guilty of pushing my stories to the back burner as well. College can be so time consuming! I was actually just wondering whether the ORS community was dying out since activity has been so low (but then again, I haven't really checked in a while either lol), but you've inspired me to look back at my own stories and see about finishing at least one of them in 2020 lol

There's so much to unpack with this chapter, and I'm going to be real, I'm probably going to need a whole binge re-read, but OOOF when Drew attacked May, that hurt me too. Anyway, good luck with knocking out SF32! I'm all down for PM'ing if you ever want to catch up/ have an idea soundboard ;)

You know, when I saw this pop up in my email as having been updated, I'll be frank, my first thought was 'It can't be THAT story, could it?'. Then I started reading and, yes, it was in fact THAT story. The one I looked at in my Alerts list and went 'After this much time, it probably won't be updated again, I should remove it like I do other long-inactive ones. But I liked it so darned much, I can't give up on it.'

I can say that I'm very glad I held out hope for this story. Even if I don't remember more than maybe three things from the previous chapters, and that's being optimistic. Y'all take your time(s?) writing this. Life always must come first, and I'm sure I and everyone else who held out for this update are more than willing to hold out for future ones.

Now to make some time to reread this story so I can remember what the heck it's about. :P

I need y'all to understand that I've been rereading this at least once a year like some kinda ritual for the past five years, this is my favorite fic EVER and I've read some pretty darn good fics. It's inspired my writing and shaped it for YEARS, and there's not a person who knows me that hasn't heard me cry and ramble over this fic. I have a nostalgia for cliffs and lemongrass that hits me like a truck. Partner pendants have been in my head non-stop. Y'all introduced me to memes via careless whisper. This fic is in my DNA at this point.

And to have this right now, during one of the roughest times of my life when I can barely get the motivation to eat or get out of bed and can barely even watch Netflix? I can't convey how much this means and how much I lost my mind. This has been literally the only thing to get me EXCITED and HAPPY in MONTHS.

You guys have helped me survive the roughest times of throughout middle and high school, and now back at it again in college. Well, I had to pull out of college for health reasons and will be starting again in spring, but I'll still count it as college. This really came at the perfect time, and I couldn't have expected it or even imagined it happening.

Anyway, I have yet to actually read the chapter because I'm about to reread this whole fic for who knows how many times so I can appreciate it fully, I just wanted to let you guys know all this, looking forward to sobbing (again)

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW F**KING HAPPY I AM RIGHT NOW. I was browsing through old fanfiction stories the other day, saw this, had a mini existential crisis because it hadn't been updated in years, and then proceeded to the next fic.

BUT YOU UPDATED AND ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WORLD!

I'm shocked this updated O.o
It was one of those fics hanging around the bottom my follows. I didnt think there would ever be a chance it would be updated with this fandom was dying.
Still I'm glad there are authors returning to tie up loose ends. It's almost like seeing old friends again when that notification hits your email with a familiar title.

I have no idea whats going on, having forgotten it all. But I just wanted to say thanks for returning
