Caffeineshipping

Mina sighed as she slapped her laptop shut. It had been a hectic year, but somehow she'd done it. She'd managed to write something for every single day. That was 365 chapters.

She sat back.

That was one huge challenge.

Mina grinned.

It was totally worth it though.

"I did it!" Mina exclaimed excitedly.

She'd written the equivalent of every day. Yes, there were days she missed, but she made them up on time.

She'd finished exactly a year, to date, later.

And it felt amazing!

During this time, she'd had her share of highlights and struggles.

She'd cried, she'd laughed.

She'd been sad, she'd been happy, she'd even gotten angry.

She'd been lazy some days, others she'd worked very efficiently.

There had been things in her life that had made her want to give up trying. She'd almost lost all her work. She'd had too many days to catch up. She'd run out of ideas at one point.

But with all the encouragement from her friends, she'd made it. Wouldn't they be proud of her?

It really was worth doing the challenge, she thought.

It was something that had really challenged her abilities. It had pushed her limits and stretched her as far as she could go.

She could compare. She saw how her writing had begun and watched it improve right until the very end.

Yes, some lacked quality in the ideas, but the style had improved.

She saw better sentence structure. She saw better grammar. She saw better spelling and more advanced language.

Sometimes there was a deep idea or issue that she brought out.

This writing challenge had really brought out her raw emotions. Being brutally honest when opinions came. Using life experiences for inspiration sometimes, even though some of them hurt.

She was criticised sometimes. Some people didn't agree with her on some things. Others just said her writing was straight out awful.

To that, Mina laughed. Had people thought that after she'd come so far, that it would really stop her now? A comment like that, might have hurt when she started, but not now.

She'd done something and she was proud of it, no matter what people said.

No, it wasn't perfect, but you try to tell her what was perfect. Nothing was perfect. People just strived for the best they could achieve. You could only improve.

Jaiden came in, having heard Mina's excited yell.

"I'm done!" Mina exclaimed.

Jaiden sat next to her and gave her a hug. "I'm so proud of you."

Mina hummed as she let Jaiden embrace her. Once they pulled away, she flashed Jaiden a big grin.

He chuckled and pressed a small kiss against her cheek. "So, what's next?"

Because it wasn't quite over yet. Oh, far from it.

Mina still had ideas turning in her head. Other stories to write. Other stories that she would push on and write.

Mina looked over at Jaiden, eyes glinting mischievously. "Oh, the fun's just beginning. I have a great idea that I have to continue."

Mina wasn't through yet. No, while there were ideas in her head, she would continue to write.

This was not the end yet.

There was still much more to come.

Me: this is my appropriate ending

Jaiden: Started with 'new beginnings', finished with 'end'

Me: I know this one isn't so romantic, I was just being more honest about this challenge.

Misty: She did cry several times

Me: Hey! I'm emotional! Are you guys all here?

Ash: Sure we are!

May: We had to say goodbye ourselves.

Me: Naw

Paul: I wouldn't be here.

Dawn: Aw, come on, it's the last one. Smile.

Paul: Hn...

Drew: So what's next? Not contestshipping right?

Me: Ahaha, of course! I have to finish my current projects. Hopefully I may have a little more time to get other updates out ^_^"

Me: Well, this had been a chaotic year, so you can imagine I have a little bit of unwinding to do.

I can't believe I did it. A whole year. Honestly, you guys have all been amazing. I'm not sure I would've tried as hard as I did to complete this if it weren't for all you guys supporting me. Thank you so much for all your encouragement. Reviews, PMs, favourites and follows. You guys have all been amazing. I would hug all of you if I could.

I really have cried and laughed and smiled and frowned over this. I've often laughed because the sheer size of this project seemed ridiculous at the time, but I did it and now I feel really amazing. I hope you guys feel just as proud of this as I do. Honestly. I feel like this was a really rewarding challenge. It really did challenge my limits. And I've been able to see my progress. Everything I said in the above oneshot is true. Honestly, I'm not sure if I can convey just how I feel about this.

It's sad to see this go now. You know. I feel like I missing part of my daily routine. But at the same time, I'm so happy to be done because now I don't have to write daily, even when I'm dead tired.

I guess it's time to finally mark this as complete

I don't know why these have become my favourites. They just have just been the ones I enjoyed the most.

Like I said before, I don't think I'll be starting a new project (but really, since when do I ever stick to my word?), but I'll try to finish my previous ones.

And I'll repeat it again. This has been a really amazing time for me. I'm so grateful to everyone who stayed with me through the whole thing. Some of you have reviewed almost every chapter. I'm so grateful. It really is rewarding. I would recommend this challenge to anyone else who thinks they can take it. It really shows how much you grow. And if anyone else does take this challenge, well, I'll support you as much as I possibly can. you know the prompts, go ahead and write ;P

So I guess this is goodbye for now. Now that I have successfully made an author note much longer than I was intending ;P
