STORY TIME (In honor of the fifth anniversary of this account that is coming next month):

I first made this fanfiction account back in 2012, when I was 14 years old. However, I didn't actually use this account until May-June 2013, when I first entered the Digimon Fandom and begun reading a lot of Taiora and Taito fanfiction dating back 15-17 years ago. I decided to write my own fanfic on Taiora after being inspired by what I read which I think I published it around August 2013. (I can't remember. It was long ago after all). It's also worth mentioning that I had a very deep hatred for Sorato (Sora x Matt) back in those days and I kept bashing fics on it until I got one PM from an author saying I need to quit my childish attitude and grow up. Thankfully, those days are over and to be honest, I don't miss them even though I still have a minor distaste for Sorato to this day.

After that, I got into Bakugan Battle Brawlers fandom, which was barely alive when I joined in the summer of 2013 and became obsessed with a character named Shun Kazami (It was cringey but I look back to it with fondness). I began to write was my first Shun x Alice smut (poorly written too. It's deleted now) along with other stories. I later got into writing other couples from Bakugan.

Then, in early 2014, I purged my account for whatever reason and became inactive for a short amount of time until I returned and continued to write Bakugan fanfics until September 2014, when I rediscovered Yu-Gi-Oh! with the spinoff that was running at the time, named ARC-V. Then from there, I began writing fanfics about that series until the show ended in March 2017, when I went on hiatus because I became depressed and my health took a bit of a dive. I also had to start making money, which meant I spent more time looking for a job.

I first came up with the name Sayuri Lapis in late 2013. My pseudonym originates from a fanfiction author here on this site named Sayuri Yamada who wrote a Bakugan fic that I loved (She is gone now and all of her stories are deleted) and from a vocaloid named Aoki Lapis (Is that her name? I forgot). Before I made up that name, I was known as Pink Mimi Miku, Utauhonshinakawaii (Crunchyroll, I no longer use this account), Taichikun679, and KawaiiPrincess (My baka updates account I made in June 2012. I hardly use that account anymore too).

I really do love Anime and Manga from the bottom of my heart ever since I first got into it 7-8 years ago. Throughout those times, people called me derogatory names, such as Weeaboo, Loser, Fag, and other things. It really hurts me deeply when people say that I waste my time doing these things and why didn't you grow out of it. If it weren't for Anime and Manga keeping me going throughout my life, I probably wouldn't be alive right now. I also love to draw from the bottom of my heart as I promised myself long ago to draw a manga that will make everyone enjoy it.
