Hi there!

Considering that my last update was back in April of this year, I think a revamp of my profile page is way overdue.

So what's new?

Elements - A short standalone piece focussed on Jack and Sam. Total fluff but my first attempt at a richer style of writing.

And who am I? Other than being the 'mother' to two rambunctious Labradors and a Thoroughbred horse, I am married to the most understanding man on the planet! Not only does he patiently watch the endless viewings of Stargate on TV, he actively encourages me to write and even helps to thrash out my various ideas from time to time.

Yep, I'm a totally obsessed Stargate geek and proud to be one. Although I've been a science fiction fanatic since the moment I first saw the opening sequence of Star Wars: A New Hope. But it is the world of Stargate that continues to capture my imagination these days - SG1 and Atlantis specifically. I just can't get enough of them or their world. And it is in this world that my story telling has finally come to life.

My desire to write has opened up a world full of discoveries. Not only have I found that others actually enjoy reading my stories, but it has introduced me to the most wonderful group of people, some of whom I actually got to meet at the last convention I attended. I am so privileged to call them my dear friends :)

Generally I 'ship' Teyla and John, as the official writers had always intended for the two characters to finally end up together. Jack and Sam are another couple that the writers certainly hinted on numerous occasions that they were destined to be together in some shape or form.

I do not read or write slash. I always try to be true to all the characters, so you should never read any language that you wouldn't have heard on the TV shows.

I also promise that I will never leave a story unfinished, and will try to update as often as real life allows. Of course, receiving reviews often speeds up the turnaround time for each chapter too.

And on that note ... more updates to follow soon.
