Songfic with multiple chapter. Alfred returns home after being held captive by terrorists in the Middle East for six months. He hopes to be able to hold his lover, Kiku, in his arms once again, only to find his beloved in the arms of another man. Deeply depressed, Alfred begins to drink nonstop but he can never get drunk enough to get Kiku off his mind. That is, until the night he put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger... US/JPN. Greece/JPN. Mentioned Can/Sey. Character death. Based on the song by Brad Paisley and Allison Kraus. Through Thick And Thin: A US/JPN centric fic. A story that will look at all the main moments of history between the United States and Japan. From the time they first met, through WWII, through the rest of the 20th century, and to the present day, Alfred and Kiku's relationship has a long story to it. But when the two decide to make their vows to each other after so many years, it opens a whole new book--not chapter-- to their lives. Alfred F. Jones and Kiku Honda are a married couple living in California and raising their family. However, when the US enters WWII after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Alfred, being in the military, is sent to fight in the Pacific. Meanwhile, Kiku and their children are forced to move out of their home and are taken to a Japanese internment camp further inland. This is all told through the eyes of Alfred and Kiku's youngest daughter. (Actually, I'm beginning to consider genderbending Kiku in this one.) Corpse Demon: AU. A small American country town lies in peaceful isolation with just enough natives and immigrants to give it a decent population number. However, when another family of European immigrants move into the long-abandoned mansion that towers over the town, the people are awakened rudely by a strange number of deaths. All the victims, Doctor Ludwig noticed, had two identical bug bites either on the neck or on one of the arms and experienced great fatigue in their last days. Local, Alfred F. Jones, thinks he might have an idea on what's causing all these deaths and who is responsible for them. After all, it's not normal to see people who are supposed to be dead walking around in the world of the living again. UKUS (or USUK, it doesn't really matter in this fic), some GerIta, and maybe some PruLiecht (other pairings have been undecided at the moment). Based on the horror novel by Fuyumi Ono, Shiki (屍鬼), as well as the manga and anime versions of the original story. Rated T (might go up to M due to violence). The rebel leader, Ludwig, is more than willing to take the risks if it means freeing the city and finding his brother's killers, Francis Bonnefoy and Antonio Fernandez Carriedo. Not to mention he has allies behind enemy lines who wish to free themselves from the cruel fate they were doomed to follow once they walked through the doors of that orphanage. Will be Rated M for torture, violence, and brutality. (Maybe some sex too, but that's an unsure one.) This is also a work currently in progress besides Child of the Empty Cradle and I Am a Pirate, You Are a Prince. Hetalia. AU. Little Francis watched as another horse-driven carriage ran past him. He watched it ride away, wishing he could ride in one of those too. But he couldn't. He was a peasant, born from a peasant mother. That was true, until he met his father for the first time and was whisked away to the world of the wealthy class. Will be either Rated T or M. Pairings have not been set in stone yet. Summary sucks, but I promise that the story itself will be much better. The life story of Alfred's son. Because of the child's resemblance to his mother, Alfred named him Kiku. Even though the boy grows up without his mother, he lives a happy life with his father. Kiku makes new friends among the children of the other nations and has a brotherly bond with his cousin Zhu. As Kiku grows older he learns just how different he and his friends are from "the normal humans." They don't have grandparents like most children do, they age slowly while the other children turn grey around them, and they can hear and see things that most people can't. Kiku's life changes drastically when the world is thrown into World War III, and he finds himself pitted against Zhu as they fight on different sides. From being a small child, to a hyper teenager, and finally a young man... This is Kiku's story as he saw it. *Mainly focuses around the war and the aftermath* *Will occasionally have other people's POV's.* Pairings will be listed within the story once it's been posted. I Am a Pirate, You Are a Prince *Title may change* : AU. Pirate Captain Arthur Kirkland of the Brittania Empire and his crew are sent to seize control of a newly discovered continent. When the crew manages to capture one of the natives, Captain Kirkland takes immediate interest in the boy and decides to keep him on his ship as he and the crew travel to all the corners of the world, which throws the boy into a whirlwind of adventure, romance, and loss. On his adventure, the boy meets the captain's crew, along with many other new people--vikings, priests, soldiers, nobles--and he sees all sorts of places that he didn't even think existed. Among Captain Kirkland's crew are a man who takes naps with his cats instead of doing work, a younger brother of the emperor of the East, a former conquistador, and a man with a kinky aura around him.
