12/1/12: Hello, everyone. Many of you have been followers of mine for years, and for those of you who haven't, I'm Lyndotia Elumo, better known as Lyn. My pen name is taken from my very first roleplay character, who was (true to the fics involving said character) a Gryffindor. I'm now 21 years old and working 40-60 hours a week out there in the real world, but I was an English major in college and resolve to complete that as soon as possible.

I've begun many fics in my five-year tenure here, and until recently, I've been on an unannounced hiatus for two of those years. I'm going to let you all know at this point that many, if not most, of those fics will not be continued. I will however leave them up for those of you who appreciate them, and also because I suppose there is always the chance that I'll decide to finish them someday. (Plus, my absolute biggest pet peeve about fanfiction is when an author decides they're not into a fandom anymore and proceeds to delete every fic [s]he ever wrote from it. It's so rude to the people who supported them and loved those stories!)

Now the good news. I am, largely due to the appreciation I have for all of you guys who have stuck with me this long, going to make a concentrated effort to continue Sons of Reproach *dramatic pause for impending applause* and Slytherin's Heiresses above all else, as they are the stories that received the most votes on that poll I posted all those ages ago before I disappeared. I started out here with Harry Potter fanfics, and so I suppose it only makes sense that I return here with Harry Potter fics. I doubt I'll ever be as active here as I once was, but there you are; real life does have a way of coming along to interfere.

Feel free to review or message with any questions or concerns. I do read them all, though I haven't had the time to answer them all in a very long time.

Also, don't worry; I'm still every bit as crazy as I ever was. ;)

NOTICE, 9/25/14: Hello, all! It's been a while since I was truly active here, and I apologize for that, but real life tends to get in the way for me. However, I have recently gotten a string of reviews and private messages all urging me to continue Sons of Reproach. Please understand that I'm coming up on the busiest season of the year at my job, so I cannot promise you that you will see a new chapter this weekend. However, I will promise you that you will see an editing spree through the fourteen published chapters as I work my way through them, editing for grammar and content, and reminding myself exactly where I was headed with this story. ;) I will try my hardest to get a new chapter out by the first weekend in October. For everyone that's stuck with me, thank you, and I hope I can live up to your expectations.
