![]() Author has written 60 stories for Harry Potter, Earth's Children, Card Captor Sakura, Fairy Tales, Twilight, Naruto, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Charles Dickens. Message Board Concerning Lore Keepers: The author's note at the beginning will tell you all you need to know. First chapter posted 7 April. From the authors: As you have all noticed, we are bad at keeping our promises. Thus, we shall attempt to no longer make them. Yes, we should be working on keeping them, but we have realistic expectations of our ability to do so, and it's easier and more practical just to stop making any. So, as a result, we'll update when we update and post stories when we post stories. So sorry for any inconvenience. 2010 New Year's resolution: We, the undersigned authors who inhabit this profile, hereby swear on the sign of the Holy Quill to complete all stories before beginning to post and to finish all ongoing stories as soon as practically possible. We promise to do our utmost to find betas and edit our work. We also vow to get to work on the sequel to Emerald Fog and hope to get it out soon. Or at least begin a draft soon. This we swear under the light of the full moon in the name of Miva, Goddess of Writing, Mercy, and Paradoxes. May she curse us with a thousand years of writer's block if we do not keep these promises. Concerning the sequel to Emerald Fog: We haven't forgotten, we're just flat out of workable ideas. Any suggestions would be more than welcome. Author bios Tamara: Tamara claims to be one of the original nine muses (she claims there were ten) and has refused to explain why a Greek Muse would sport a name like Tamara O'Neil. She loves to write, has no patience with people, and adores bossing the rest of us around. It is she who does much of the writing and finds many of the ideas, though we all contribute to the creative process. Her favorite color is yellow, and she enjoys wearing flare jeans and brightly colored tank tops. Kyra: Kyra is hyperactive and immature. Though she's the same age as the rest of us, she tends to act between three and five years old, depending on the moment. Her hair is currently bright blue but will change color soon, if the past is anything to go on. She likes to think up crack but isn't good at writing it, and tends to be the who infuses the writing with slashy scenes between attractive males. She doesn't mind slash between attractive females either, come to think of it. Caroline: We are all certain that Caroline was born into a body of the wrong age and should actually be 35. She's mature, organized, and responsible. For all that, she does indulge in whimsy, such as her conviction that Frankie, her graphing calculator, can tell the future. She is terribly fond of het, but is almost always overruled, though recently she's started getting her way more often. Caroline doesn't really care what she wears, though she tends to go for jeans and a plain t-shirt. Marianne: Marianne is the shyest of us all. She's terrified of people, and tends to make the rest of us do her talking for her. She loves angst and torturing her poor characters, and it's she who is responsible for the majority of the really angsty stuff we have up. She likes to dress in black, and is borderline goth. She disdains the label, and says that a proper goth would listen to proper gothic music, not the Beatles or Simon and Garfunkel, both of which she adores. Concerning stories As is rather obvious, we have many stories up. They're a combination of oneshots and chaptered stories, and if you want to know what they're about, you can read the summaries yourself. As a quick head's up, though, here are the ones which are currently still alive, and here are the ones which have died a painful and slow death: Dead: Oh, Lovely. It may be resurected at some point, but for now it has died along with our interest in that particular fandom. Living: If things were different. Still alive, honest. Just... on long hiatus. In the works: Albus Potter and the Unicorn's Blood. The first of a projected 7-story project. Fairly self-explanatory. Coming along... slowly. Hypothetically: Moonlight at Midnight. The accursed sequel to Emerald Fog. Still planned, but none of us seem to be able to write any of it satisfactorily. Archives As we move things from our message board, they will be posted here. Thank you for reading. We hope you enjoy our stories, and we remind you that the better ones are the more recent. Thank you for your time. --Tamara, Kyra, Caroline, and Marianne |
