Really interesting point of view. Pretty much all I have to say has already been said, so I'll just add that you executed this very well - though we don't know anything about the doctor her reaction is still deeply moving.

I think I've read this over five times, only because it is the most beautiful piece of writing I have read in quite some time. But...it's so sad...but I love it, and I love the character you created. Everything about this fanfiction was perfect. Perfect. Great job.

This piece was wonderfully done. It takes what seems to be an indifferent distance from a patient and in the end makes it a very personal and deeply touching one. It's very striking to see a third party see such destruction that occurs to the boy that becomes a man with a broken past and inner damage he cannot escape.

One does not need to know much about Yu-Gi-Oh or Seto Kaiba for that matter although it makes the piece all the more poignant. It was truly lucky of me to have come across this piece.

Oh God. It's been so LONG since I've looked into my old passion. I've left it alone ever since I noticed the series growing horribly akin to Pokemon - neverending. Seto Kaiba, the idol I could never fully live up to. You manage to put everything down in less than a thousand words what I used to strive to do in tens of thousands, and never fully achieved. Ah. I envy your talent. Seto makes my heart ache. In sacrifice, I think many of us can relate.

This is amazing. So sad... I weep for Seto... Most of the sentences are really short and structured the same, but it works - it accentuates the similarites and gives it a disconnected feeling. I really don't know how to explain what makes this so great... but I love it. This is going on my favorites list.
