Author has written 110 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Teen Titans, Naruto, Vampire Knight, Spiral, Doctor Who, Soul Eater, and Dragon Prince. Not much to say about me. I'm here 'cause I like writing fanfiction. I'm a living organism. I love anime, cartoons of the non-anime variety, some TV shows, games of all types, and books. Music inspires my writing... A lot. I write with friends on occasion, though it's usually my partner in crime, Will Turner (not real name, obviously). The penname comes from the fact that I just can't seem to stop stealing significant others from other people. Not. Will and I just weren't creative enough at Girl Scout Camp that one summer... And yes, that means that I am a girl. And don't you forget it. I do author's notes a lot at the end of a chapter/story because I can't explain things inside said stories without sounding entirely awkward. If you don't like them, skip them. They're honestly quite harmless. Please... criticize contructively. I could use it. Don't cuss me out. I don't like it when people do that. If you don't like my stuff, don't read it, plain and simple. I couldn't care less if you hate the stuff I write. If you think you can do SO much better, by all means, go ahead and write. Don't waste your time writing pointless flames for others' work. (On the flip side, if for some reason you want to borrow an idea, just ask! There are very few reasons I would say "no".) That said, I do read (and make every attempt to reply to) every review to thank you and to touch on anything in your review I find in need of addressing or just plain intriguing. I don't bite; I'm friendly and will ramble on as long as you let me. I do tend to be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my writing, so I'm posting the stuff I've written lately (though I've been writing fanfiction since 7th grade), and going back to edit my old stuff. Enjoy my stories if you will. That makes me happy. Nov. 18, 2014: Trying to write more. Being a software developer is not exactly conducive. Wedding planning is also taking up time, though I can't say I'm unhappy about getting hitched! A few new characters to introduce: Max: Ed and Winry's son. A lot like Al in temperament. Has Ed's golden eyes. The older sibling. Not the Max I would have written about before. Elena: Ed and Winry's daughter. Rather more like Ed or Winry in temperament. More adventurous than Max. Has Winry's blue eyes, but with an inner ring of Ed's gold, making them appear green at times, especially as an infant. Do either of them do alchemy? No. Both of them probably have the aptitude for it, and might try it. Elena might pick it up as a hobby, but not a career. She loves banging tools against metal in Winry's workshop. (Winry does not appreciate this.) Max, however, idolizes his uncle Al and wants to be a world traveler just like him. Both Ed and Winry would rather see their kids not follow in Ed's footsteps, anyway. Too much heartache. How far apart are they in age? A year or two. Probably a little more than a year and a half. Haven't really decided yet. And now, some new(-ish) things about old characters: Roy and Riza... to my mind, they got married eventually. No kids. (I will keep my earlier stories where they did up, though. I think it fits better with the first anime continuity. Maybe wishful thinking, but whatever.) Roy did eventually ascend to the head of state, only to make a few arrangements and turn the state over to a non-military government who saw fit to pardon some for their involvement in Ishval based on testimony and how they had been helping rebuild. Aug. 2, 2011: I figure that, since I keep on using this idea that I came up with, I might as well just put it up here and refer you to it instead of making an author's note about it each time. Basically, it just occurred to me one day, would Mr. Hawkeye really trust anyone--even a seemingly innocent tattoo artist--with the secret of Flame Alchemy? REALLY?! And would he be a good tattoo artist himself? To both of these questions, I answered "Highly unlikely. Well, crap. How do I explain how Riza got that tattoo, then?" The answer I came up with is this: He altered her skin pigmentation. As I put it to one reviewer: "think of it this way: instead of injecting pigment into her skin, Mr. Hawkeye rearranged what was already there. Or maybe he added extra pigment, but [either way, it was] without the use of needles." It would be something like medical alchemy, where it's not human transmutation, but transmutation of something that happens to be in a human without involving the human. On a somewhat (un)related note, I'm totally in the "Roy and Riza have been together all along, but they just don't show it" camp. I think that they got together in their teens, probably while Roy was still a student, and yes, there was and is sex involved. Not that they've been going at it like rabbits or anything while backs are turned (really, are either of them shallow enough to just go for a strictly physical relationship any old time? I don't think so!), but I just don't think that their bond is strictly platonic, and it would be damn hard to remain celibate for however long it would take, especially when any day could be the last for either or both. IMO, they're very judicious as to how and when they express their love for each other. Jan. 12, 2011: It occurs to me that I use terminology the average passerby might not necessarily familiar with. The glaringly obvious one: "Royai". For the uninitiated, this is the incredibly awesome pairing of Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye from FullMetal Alchemist. ...And really, that's probably about it. I think most everything else is self-explanatory. But if anything at all confuses you, don't hesitate to ask! I keep notes about my stories, so I will do my best to answer anything you might ask. Mar. 29, 2007: An update! Wow! Okay, I need to briefly explain something because I'm getting more and more ideas for it. It's part of a Royai concept I wrote a while ago. What I'd like to explain is the KAIVERSE or, if I need to use it, the MAXVERSE. The KAIVERSE is a string of Royai stuff (Full Metal Alchemist rocks!) that I wrote. The first story I wrote for it was the one about Riza's pregnancy and Kai's birth. "How to Break the News" was the title, and the second chapter was "Baby Makes Three". The KAIVERSE and MAXVERSE have the same background: There are many manga concepts, so things may be labeled as manga spoilers, and may have faux-memories of things that have not happened yet (and probably won't since I'm not Hiromu Arakawa-sensei, nor do I know what will happen next for any other reason). Somehow, the homuculi were defeated. Nobody went over to the other side of the Gate. Ed and Winry are happily married, as are Riza and Roy. We know about Kai already, but Max... Max is Ed and Winry's son. There we are. Long explanation for a simple thing. AND ONE THING MORE! (As of one day and three exams later, along with some much-needed sanity.) The thing that happened to Havoc in volume 10? It didn't happen. At least, not yet. If something happens to change his current situation, then it will have happened. Go read the manga if you don't know what I'm talking about. EDIT: With the conclusion of the manga, I really don't plan to do anything more with this little universe, but I'll keep up the few fics I have about it unless, well, I decide not to. |
