Author has written 14 stories for Yu-Gi-Oh, and Fullmetal Alchemist. Maat's Feather is apparently a professional student by trade who tired of writing the more technical papers required by her degree and so turned to fanfiction as a way of exercising her creative side. She is interested in many different fandoms, but her hand is yet untried at writing for the majority of them. Her writing fandom of choice has traditionally been Yugioh but has begun to branch out into Fullmetal Alchemist. She unashamedly admits to having a bit of a weakness for crossovers. This author is highly notorious for sporadic updates - readers be warned. The cause of the delays include RL issues such as school, work, and a healthy helping of general laziness, though it pains her to admit that last part. Maat's Feather does keep a livejournal account that she started with the good intention of using it to document the progress on her stories. She is very proud of herself that she has finally managed to keep said journal updated after over a year of neglect. Also of note, she is not so keen on pina coladas, but if you hand her a margarita, she will be more than happy to be caught out in the rain. Stories "How you uh, how you comin' on that novel you're working on? Huh? Gotta a big, uh, big stack of papers there? Gotta, gotta nice little story you're working on there? Your big novel you've been working on for three years? Huh? Gotta, gotta compelling protagonist? Yeah? Gotta obstacle for him to overcome? Huh? Gotta story brewing there? Working on, working on that for quite some time? Huh? Yeah, talking about that three years ago. Been working on that the whole time? Nice little narrative? Beginning, middle, and end? Some friends become enemies, some enemies become friends? At the end your main character is richer from the experience? Yeah? Yeah? No, no, you deserve some time off." o While I do appreciate the interest, if a story is marked "complete" or "discontinued" the odds of me actually picking it up again or adding to it are very, very slim so please don't ask. Websites These are the websites that I go to if I have any questions about the YGO series. They help out quite a bit and have links to other good sites. |
