i figure it's okay to review even if it's been four years. i liked this. it's got great emotional depth. the end of the first anime and the movie always depressed me. the feeling behind this is tragically beautiful. keep up the good work.

Waaaaaaaaaaah! This is like...worse than the original ending cause it makes me EVEN more sad! I mean, it's beautiful I seriously wish it had happened but...I know how it ends and it just makes it more depressing..*sobs in a corner*

This story I like. I wish that really happen. I thought their reunion would be more than hugging, but edward did blush so... I guess that was ok.

Omg! This is a good short story. I really enjoyed it. I wish he never left again, and he got his arm and leg back in the end. But the movie just had to end with an awful ending. Anyway I really liked this, I hated the movie skipped that whole scene. Lol thanks for this.

Heh, I know how much a lot of people hated the movie. This story was bittersweet, yes, but it had a nice, promising feeling to it. Like, their chance is going to end soon, but at the same time, it's going to keep going and always be remembered. I quite liked that concept.

A lot of fanfiction writers tend to want to ignore the movie because of its lack of EdWin, and write over the top fluffy stories where everything is pretty much 'happy happy joy joy', when in reality (especially in the FMA world) it's not. I'm certainly not saying they ALL do this, but browsing around, that seems to be a trend.

Anyway, your story amazed me with the description and depth, with a splash of angst to tie it all together. This story makes my favs!
