![]() Author has written 14 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist. I really shouldn't have deleted the entirety of my old profile description before starting on a new one, I now have absolutely no idea what to say. Ah well, live and learn. I'm Disastergirl, currently 20, living in the UK and an incredibly slow (but very ambitious) fanfic writer. The only fandom I've written for is Fullmetal Alchemist and though the idea of other fandoms (most notably Sherlock, The Edge Chronicles and the Pellinor series) have tempted me, it's probably the only fandom I'm going to write for for the forseeable future. (That's a lot of fors... and I'm meant to be trying to be a writer here). My writing ara decreases even further within the FMA series as, if I'm completely honest, while I enjoy the entire series and love reading/watching all the characters in the canon material, when it comes to fanfic etc I'm really only interested in Roy Mustang, his team and other characters associated with them and with Roy in particular. (If you read my fics, you'll notice there is an uncommonly high density of Madame Christmas and Dr Knox appearances; they're my favourite minor characters and I, along with mebh, although I doubt she thinks of it in these terms, am on a mission to see that they as characters gain more fanfiction love.) Anyway, I ramble, so I'll stop this now. I hope you enjoy my stories if you feel like reading through them- if you do, I'll just say that although anything written by me that is multichaptered (at the moment only Blood Brothers and Tempting the Fates, although mebh would tell me that's more of a triptych, I expect) has probably not been updated in so long you might worry that its been abandoned- this is not the case. I don't ever abandon stories, I just go for long periods of time without being able to write. Not because I struggle with the content (well... much) but because writing is such a time-consuming and immersive thing for me, I can rarely find any time to actually sit down and do it. But however long it takes- I do update things. Yes. Yes I do.
