I have written several short stories and I am going to collect them under one heading. Each chapter is a complete story. I am moving some of my stories that were stand alone to this heading. Most are happy but a few will be tear jerkers. Some are new and some are old stories that I have re-edited but the plot will basically be the same.

What if Scarlett agreed to Rhett's request on the road to Tara? A fanfic of what I imagined in the past 30 years, of a woman even more rebellious than our original Scarlett, but perhaps less agonized with what is expected of her that she does not meet.

Things do not work as Scarlett has planned when she goes into Atlanta to get the tax money but maybe they work out better.

Three months after the scandal, Rhett is back. Was there anything he could have done to change the outcome of that fatal conversation?

When the curator of the haunted Butler Mansion State Museum goes looking for the source of her ghostly disturbances, she finds a lot more than she bargained on. (This is a revamped version of a very old WIP, with enhanced and updated content.)

This is a rewrite of the end of the novel, and I stole shamelessly from the original novel. I also stole a teeny bit from Alexandra Ripley's Scarlett - a few words which I took from Mammy and gave to Melanie - so few that it's more that I must credit the idea and the sentiment, rather than the actual dialogue. I don't own Gone with the Wind or Scarlett, of course.

Well, this is my entry to the first GWTW Ficathon. Thanks to CaptScarlett who came up with the idea and who incidentally also where the one I had to write for. Hope you enjoy.

I had composed a timeline of datable events during the story of Gone With the Wind. I would love for everyone to take the time to check it out, and if it needs corrected or tweaked, I added a who's who as the second chapter. Love feedback on it too.

Rhett stops at Tara to check on Scarlett and the others. An innocent faux pas on Scarlett's part as far as Rhett's sleeping arrangements leads to an interesting time for the couple. Dream sequence indicated by . Set before the jail scene.

NOW COMPLETE! It is really the end. Bonnie is dead. Rhett seems to have lost his mind and Scarlett is living a nightmare. Can they pick up the broken pieces of their lives and have a chance at happiness and love before it's too late?
