Scarlett's desire to fill in what she needed to know from Rhett about his reasons, motivations and feelings was a brilliant concept for a story. In the process, it drew them closer together and the closer they are, the happier I am.

This is so well done!

All the usual “drama” has been removed. They love each other and have reunited, but it’s still so enjoyable to just sit back and watch them converse. Some of my favorite passages in gwtw are just that - uninterrupted conversations between these two characters. You’ve captured them both so well..,

I can’t help but somewhat desperately wonder how their reunion came about prior to this dialogue. She’s only 30 so it is only a year or two since the end of gwtw yet they seem solidly on the right path and same page.

Hmmm. It's the first time I'm reading a GWTW fanfic, and I'm entranced. :-) I shied away in the past because I didn't think anyone could do Scarlett justice (I gave up on the Ripley sequel), but I'm pleased that I'm wrong. *off to read the others.
