This is by far one of the most authentic and plausible continuations of gwtw that i have read. It is a story that i will undoubtedly read again. I hope you have another dream soon that you are going to not only update but finish this story. Perhaps other will follow your example and finish theirs as well. Each chapter is better than the one that came before it. The characters leap off the page and i intensely feel their emotions. Your characterization of Scarlett is particularly brilliant. Yours is some of the best writing in this fandom. The nightmare was so chilling. I have one chapter left and am dreading the moment when i finish it...

It's interesting that Scarlett finds herself in a marriage that is quite similar to the one she believes her parents had. The moment at the mantle was so beautifully written. I keep waiting for "something" to happen between Scarlett and Rhett but I'm thoroughly enjoying the journey to get there. It's funny how no matter what the words on the page say, so many of us are waiting for that perfect moment between them. The ending of each of your chapters has been brilliant.

Another incredibly written chapter. It's sad that Scarlett can't truly understand Rhett and that he can't let himself give in to her. They have to be the two most frustrating characters in literary history and you write them so well. I can see this chapter (this entire story) as a continuation of gwtw. The bleak situation they have locked themselves into is depressing. I imagine that this must have been a difficult chapter to write because it was so true to their characters.

This was probably one of the best chapters I've encountered in this fandom. It was so powerful and raw and twisted. "You've tried to make me leave you." What a powerful test. Your writing is superb. I'm addicted to this story though i doubt more and more that these two can have a HEA.

I love stories that spend some time on Wade and Ella. This chapter soothes my heart when i think of Rhett and the children. I'd like to believe that he couldn't just abandon them and would be a good father to them. The conversation with Wade shows that not only is Rhett a good father but that he still does love Scarlett no matter what he may say. I would love to see Rhett try to explain himself to Wade.

This chapter was the best so far but also difficult to read. They both seem stuck. If Rhett truly didn't care he would do nothing to ensure Scarlett's safety and comfort during her pregnancy. I hope this child startles Rhett out of his apathy. Scarlett comes across as a bit childish and vindictive but i can image it would a struggle to live in this kind of marriage. That dream sequence at the end was so realistic that i thought Scarlett was actually losing the baby. This story is so good.

This far i feel sorry for Scarlett in this story. She got Rhett back but both of them seem unhappy in this marriage and unwilling to make the necessary changes to make their lives better. Rhett is quite detached upon hearing the news of Scarlett's pregnancy. He seems physically present but emotionally absent. Your characterization of both Scarlett and Rhett is realistic. Excellent but painful chapter.

The idea of Henry getting married in this stage of his life is puzzling but i feel like there is more to his story...

The flashback of the flowers and dinner invitation was wonderfully written. The remembrance of Bonnie when Ella laughed was sad and I can just imagine Rhett's reaction. I wonder how they dealt with Bonnie's death in your story. Poor Ella. Even though we don't get to experience it, i hope there are more glimpses of their "reconciliation" to come.

This story was recently recommended to me and I'm glad i started reading it despite it not being finished. This first chapter was simply addictive and completely unexpected. The current state of the Butler marriage is entirely plausible and the writing is very much the same tone that concluded the novel. I can't wait to see how Rhett takes the news. I'm intrigued.

So well written and characterised. Hope you update and finish someday.
