3/5/11 - Still trying to get the motivation to write. Unfortunatly I'm still looking for a job and mostly all I've been writting lately is resumes and coverletters. At this point I'm really rusty with creative writting and I'm not really interested enough in my orignal fandoms to write for them, especially FMA. I loved how it ended and had a terriffic sense of closure so I'm not really motivated to write. As for Naruto, I'm really bored with the way the manga is progressing so I've lost alot of desire to be involved in the fandom. Basically, I only read the manga updates every few weeks in the hopes that it will get better. I'll still read some fanfic for sasusaku but lately its seems like I'm not the only fan unmotivated to write for this fandom.

Anyway, look out for some new stuff, hopefully. Probably in a new fandom but still, progress is progress.

So, status update. If anyone is still out there, I want to say that I am trying to come out of hiatus. I recently finished my B.S. and unfortunately I lost my 2nd job. So now I have a lot of free time on my hands.

I'm gonna try to release the next chapter of 2,000 miles either tonight or this weekend. I have a few chapters that I wrote rough drafts of a long time ago that I just recently proof-read. I've been trying to write more but lately anything I write comes out too dry, boring, and clinical. Its like I got so used to writing college papers that I forgot how to write creatively. I'm trying to get it back though. I've been reading alot and that usually inspires me to write. I'll probably try my hand at some drabbles too.

The key words you guys should all pay attention to though, is 'try.' I'm having a lot of problems right now - which I won't bore you with - and the last thing I should be doing is hiding in fandom. On the other hand, I do need to do something to decrease the stress. :)

I just wanted everyone to know that I'm still interested in my fandoms. (I've even picked up a few new ones.) I'm especially loving the new chapters of FMA and FMA: brotherhood. MangaEd is now my favorite Ed!

Dislikes: flamers, people who rant about other peoples prefrences - whether it be for yaoi or a certain pairing - and try to prove their prefrence to be wrong. Seriously, it's a big pet peeve. Dubbed anime.

Fandoms I like/watch/participate in: Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Naruto, Samurai Champloo, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars.

Anime/Pairings I Read:

Naruto - General or Sasu/Saku. I've really taken to liking to read about future or AU fics.

Fullmetal Alchemist - I genrally read anything FMA that is well written, Het or Yaoi. Mostly, I love EdxWinry or Roy/Riza. Not really a Roy/Ed one myself unless its something other than a romantic situation (I love friend fics between the two but its hard to find with all yaoi, not that I don't read that too.) .

Bleach - A few general stories, but only if its Hisugaya focused (I recently discovered a genre known as Hitsu_whump and am shamelessly enjoying it. Can't wait for it to grow) Mostly I love the pairing fics. IchigoxRukia, IshidaxOrihime, MasumotoxHitsugaya (with older Hitsugaya of course. Right now its just icky, unless the material has more fluffy intentions.) As you can see, I love Histugaya, but HitsuxHina doesn't really interest me unless its in an angsty way.

Samurai Champloo - Mugen is my favorite character. He is so fun and he had such a great character arc. I really wish there was more of this anime and that the fandom was larger. I do like to read alot of MugenxFuu, but I'll also read a bit MugenxFuuxJin.

Angel - Angel/Cordy, Wes/Fred.

Buffy: Spike/Buffy

Veronica Mars: Logan/Veronica, Mac/Cassisdy.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: Kallen/Lelouch, Suzaku/Euphy.

The Wallflower: Kyohei/Sunako. (Really wish this fandom was larger.)
