Author has written 15 stories for Incredibles, Cyberchase, Princess Diaries, Warriors, High School Musical, Thief Lord, and Series Of Unfortunate Events. Hello, my name is the real Violet Parr, because I am very similar to Violet from The Incredibles (one of my favorite movies) in a lot of ways. (although actually I'm very similar to both Gabriella and Kelsi from High School Musical and Hornet from The Thief Lord also, and I'm practically a female version of Cody Martin from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and also of Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean) I love horses, wolves, cats, writing, reading, and the Internet. Mainly what I will be writing on this site (in my spare time, ha ha) is Incredibles, Warriors, High School Musical (Troyella forever!) and Cyberchase, although I read/frequent more than a dozen categories. Yes I am aware my profile is kind of long...whenever I get truly bored I add something...I have no MySpace, Xanga, or other way of expressing myself online except this page...if you don't like it, there's a scrollbar. Here's some info about me: I am a nondenominational Christian and PROUD OF IT! And if I ever do or say anything that offends you or hurts you, I'm very sorry about that. (That's meant to be sincere...sometimes text doesn't come off so well...) One of my big pet peeves is people who read my fics, and then don't review them. I try not to do that to anyone else, and I'd appreciate it if people would pay me the same courtesy. It is so discouraging to see your fic get 60+ hits and only 3 reviews (this happened to one of my one-shots). Just a note for those of you who do that, and for those of you who actually review my fics: THANK YOU! I just discovered that I have the ability to crank out both fluffy romance stories AND angsty stories in a very short time period. WOOHOO! I'm absolutely a hopeless romantic so most (if not all) of my stories will have some kind of romantic fluff in them. BE WARNED. Most of the time the majority of what I write is canon pairings (although I do sometimes support unconventional pairings). I love to read humorous stories, but I don't usually write humor so well. So don't get mad if my so-called humor fics aren't funny... Almost anything makes me laugh. Well, not really, but a lot does. You can see that by the huge section on here for my favorite quotes... Interesting thing; I absolutely love 80 percent of Captain Jack Sparrow's lines, but I'm really not all that fond of the guy... Another interesting thing: The more I watch POTC: Dead Man's Chest, the more I like it. The first time I saw it, I was cursing Elizabeth for about a week...but now I'm on good terms with Mrs. Swann-Turner. My top 5 couples of the week (or however long until I change my mind/find another one cool enough to bump one of these off the list): Favorites Animals: Horses, wolves, cats, dragons, dogs, dolphins, owls, deer Books/series: The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Cornelia Funke, "Erin Hunter", "Lemony Snicket", Frank Peretti, Donita K. Paul, Margaret Peterson Haddix, Ted Dekker, Karen Hancock, Katherine Paterson Movies: The Lord of the Rings (I count the three as one film, just as I do the books: one incredible, indescribable experience that no other movie will ever be able to equal - and DON'T insult them around me if you want to stay alive!); The Incredibles (well, all one has to do is look at my penname to see that!); Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (been a special movie to me ever since I was 9 years old - I don't care if it is just a "dumb little kids' movie"); A Walk To Remember (see earlier note re: me being a romantic); She's the Man (this one's just TOO funny for words, I don't care if it is stupid!); High School Musical (okay, I admit it, when you need a mindless fluffy little flick this one's it); The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (I think despite this being labelled a "kids' movie" there's more than most people think, just as with the books); Aladdin (yes, the 1992 Disney flick - it still amuses me to no end); The Lion King (likewise); Beauty and the Beast (Belle reminds me so much of myself it's scary - and that's not meant as a vain remark either); The Princess Bride (this movie rocks! C'mon, you know it's true!); Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (admittedly I like this film because of the lovely eye-candy in it - and if you think I mean Johnny Depp you're dead wrong - but I also think it's an entertaining story); Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (see note higher up re: my interesting relationship with this one); Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (the wedding scene killed me - it is truly AWEsome!); Bridge to Terabithia (I don't care if it is marketed as a dumb kid's movie; it's a beautiful story and I'm happy with a book-turned-movie for once); Ever After (as cheesy and whatnot as it is, it's funny!); Elizabethtown (this movie PWNS, you know it!); Spider-Man (one of my best friends has been trying to get me to watch this one for years, and I finally did and it is AMAZING); Spider-Man 2 (for once I actually like a sequel better than its predecessor) TV shows: Phil of the Future, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Green Acres, Mister Ed, The Addams Family, and I think I like LOST too but I don't know for sure cause I've only seen like 5 episodes... (I really don't like watching TV much, I think most shows are either really immoral or just retarded) Actors: Liam Aiken, Viggo Mortensen, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan, Billy Boyd, Ian Holm, Ian McKellen, Sean Bean, John Rhys-Davies, David Wenham, Hugo Weaving, Bernard Hill, Christopher Lee, Karl Urban, Cary Grant, Cody Linley Actresses: Liv Tyler, Miranda Otto, Cate Blanchett, Amanda Bynes, Aly Michalka, Ashley Tisdale, AnnaSophia Robb, Kiera Knightley Bands/Artists: Jump5, BarlowGirl, Bethany Dillon, Superchick, Relient K, Aly & AJ, Carrie Underwood, tobyMac, Inhabited Comics: FoxTrot, Garfield, Baby Blues, Peanuts, Calvin & Hobbes, Mother Goose & Grimm, Family Circus, Dennis the Menace, Sherman's Lagoon Colors: purple, silver, light blue (or any blue really), turquoise, black, green, red Numbers: 3 (trilogies are best!), 5 (because of Jump5), 7 (well it's just cool), 9 (the Fellowship!), 13 (this isn't always unlucky), 15 (I just like it) Words: violet, Elf, Hobbit, horse, book, bibliophile, tridecologism, irony, indigo, trilogy, sword, corpulent, eucatastrophe, equine, midnight, illiterate/literate, controversial, "good morning" Male fictional characters (and it's up to YOU to figure out what books/movies/TV shows they come from): Aragorn II son of Arathorn II, Legolas Thranduillion, Pippin Took, Faramir son of Denethor II, Will Turner II, James Norrington, Hector Barbossa, Ragetti, Cody Martin, Prosper, Klaus Baudelaire, Graystripe, Will Wagner, Slider Metropolis, Quigley Quagmire, Farid, Mullet Fingers, Ravenpaw, Crowfeather, Scott Bennett, Phil Diffy, Jake Ely, Aladdin, Drew Baylor, Peter Parker Female fictional characters (and it's up to YOU to figure out what books/movies/TV shows they come from): Violet Parr, Caterina "Hornet" Grimani, Mia Thermopolis, Meggie Folchart, Arya, Saphira, Violet Baudelaire, Spottedleaf, Leafpool, Cinderpelt, Maddie Fitzpatrick, Gabriella Montez, Kelsi Nielsen, Keely Teslow, Sam Forster, Lucy Pevensie, Ellie Harrison, Jen Greenley, Elisha Springfield, Jamie Sullivan, Arwen Undomiel daughter of Elrond Peredhil, Éowyn daughter of Éomund, Viola Hastings, Princess Jasmine, Belle, Mulan, Kiara, Claire Colburn, Mary Jane Watson Genres (to read): Fantasy, Action/Adventure, Romance, Humor, Mystery, Suspense/Thriller Genres (to write): Romance (just fluffy stuff really, like my HSM fics), Angst (these are fun to do, but I don't get much opportunity to do it), Action/Adventure (I personally think my action scenes kinda suck, but most people seem to like them, and I usually end up doing a lot of them anyway), Humor (when I'm in the right mood apparently I write funny things) Kinds of fics to read: Aragorn/Arwen and/or Faramir/Éowyn (LOTR), Will/Elizabeth (POTC), Troyella anything (HSM), Quiglet "ledge" stories...or really any Quiglets (ASOUE), Violet-centered stories (The Incredibles), Pheely anything (POTF), M/Z or M/C (TSLOZAC), Zanessa stories (sorta kinda HSM), any LOTR or POTC stories where the characters are children, any good Warriors stories...yes I like fluffy romance, you got a problem with that? Things I Will Never Believe Prayer doesn't work. (It does.) -God doesn't exist. (He does.) -Nice guys/girls finish last. (Believe it or not, sometimes we win.) -"You can't do anything to change the world." (The people who say that have very closed minds.) -"I'm too far gone to be saved." (I don't believe that and neither do many people who've lived through that experience.) -Homosexuality is "genetic". (If it was, the first two gay men would've died out and it would be nonexistant.) -Premarital sex, swearing, drugs, or drinking are okay because "everybody's doing it". (Hah. That's funny. Not.) -Slaughterhouses are necessary. (We can get meat just as easily with a single bullet to the head.) -The Lord of the Rings (the book) is boring, badly written, unimaginative, and/or has boring/wimpy/Mary-Sue-like/stereotyped/unlikable characters. (Some, granted are less developed than others - (cough)Arwen(cough) - but they're certainly not boring.) -The Lord of the Rings movies are badly done, have bad acting, are boring, and/or deserve anything less than to be called a new standard for movie-making. (None of this is true. If you think so, you obviously have different taste than 90 percent of the world.) -Peter Jackson messed up aforemention movies. (Granted, he changed some things around, but he really tried to stay true to the spirit of Tolkien's book.) -Because he messed up those movies, PJ should not direct a movie of The Hobbit. (Personally, I don't think anyone but PJ could do the job right. But, I suppose we'll see.) -Eragon's movie was anything near like its book. (That movie is an abomination added onto an abomination.) -Edward Speelers and the guy who played Murtagh in aforementioned movie are "hott". (If you wanna think that, go right ahead. I won't stop you. I just won't agree.) -Johnny Depp is "hott". (See above. But I won't deny he's a good actor.) -Captain Jack Sparrow is "hott". (See above. He is funny though.) -Will Turner Jr., Legolas, and Faramir are wimps/gay/boring. (They aren't. All three are warriors and have complex characters. And two out of three got married to females. I can't speak for Legolas, but in the book he sure didn't act gay.) -Any characters from The Lord of the Rings are homosexuals. (This insults me to no end. If you wish to remain alive, you will never speak of such an abomination in my presence.) -Any characters from Warriors or Warriors: The New Prophecy are homosexuals. (This is just disgusting.) -Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann have any future together. (Jack said it himself: "My only love is the sea." And we've figured out for sure that Lizzy's not Calypso, savvy? Besides which, Elizabeth is now a Turner.) -The curse of the Flying Dutchman was not lifted after 10 years with Will as Captain. (Ted Elliot and Terry Rossio said so, themselves, multiple times: the curse is lifted and Will is free. Take it up with them if you're dissatisfied with that answer.) -Elizabeth was anything less than faithful to Will during those 10 years. (You don't seriously think she went off with some other guy when she had her kid to worry about, do you? And yes, that child is Will's son. It's obvious. And it's in the credits too - "Young Will Turner". Go look if you don't believe me.) -James Norrington was a pansy/uninteresting character/loser and killing him off in the third movie was the right thing to do. (He saved Elizabeth's LIFE, and died for her too! He was amazing and Bootstrap killed him just like that...it was terrible. Besides which, he loved Elizabeth enough to let her go in the first movie. Is that not real love?) -Bethany Dillon's voice is horrible. (If you think that, you really need your ears checked.) -Christian music is "boring". (It's fine if you think it is, just be sensitive to those of us who actually like it.) -Bridge to Terabithia is a cheap knock-off of Narnia. (Narnia was already there; the Pevensies stumbled into it. Leslie and Jess created Terabithia out of their own minds. And also, these two books were written for entirely different purposes.) Things I Don't Want To Believe -Birchpaw(fall) helped Hawkfrost and Ashfur in their plan to kill Firestar. -There might be more than 3 POTC movies. -Said POTC movies may be exclusively about Jack Sparrow and Barbossa, and have crappy plots and be made exclusively for the money. -Ian McKellen might not play Gandalf in the movie of The Hobbit. Quotes (I like quotes, okay? If you don't, then tough.) Horses usually know when you're happy, and they often know when you're sad. But they always know when you have sugar! Horses are God's way of showing mankind that perfection is possible. This world is insane - mostly because you're in it. I didn't LOSE my marbles...I sold 'em on Ebay! Bad spellers of the world, untie! Books are home when one is somewhere strange. Inkheart by Cornelia Funke "If you see Count Olaf/count to 0/then scream and run away" "Scream and Run Away" by The Gothic Archies "I cannot live without books." Thomas Jefferson "We are all equal at the foot of the cross." Aly Michalka "I'm insanely vertically challenged." Joy Williams "You won't come near smoke and fire and Jell-O!" Bill Cosby "Son, was your head with you all day today?" Bill Cosby "When in doubt, faint." Jack Davenport and/or Keira Knightley "I defy any women who watch The Lord of the Rings not to fall in love with Aragorn." Miranda Otto "Nothing takes the taste out of peanut butter quite like unrequited love." Charlie Brown "Some who have read The Lord of the Rings, or at any rate have reviewed it, have found it boring, absurd and contemptible, and I have no cause to complain, since I have similar opinions of their work." J.R.R. Tolkien "Your chances of getting hit by lightning go up if you stand under a tree, shake your fist at the sky, and say, 'Storms suck!'" Johnny Carson "People are wrong when they say that opera is not what it used to be. It is what it used to be. That is what is wrong with it." Noel Coward "Critics are to authors what dogs are to lamp-posts." Jeffrey Robinson (from a book review) "This is not a book to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force." Dorothy Parker "Testosterone is stupid, I throw rocks at it!" Elizabeth Swann from 's production of POTC: DMC "Any man who is afraid of Barbies and milk needs serious help." Bad Kitty by Michele Jaffe "Aravis also had many quarrels (and, I'm afraid, eve fights) with Cor, but they always made it up again: so that years later, when they were grown up, they were so used to quarreling and making up again that they got married so as to go on doing it more conveniently." The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis "War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love that only which they defend: the city of the Men of Númenor; and I would have her loved for her memory, her ancientry, her beauty, and her wisdom. Not feared, save as men may fear the dignity of a man, old and wise." Faramir, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien "No onslaught more fierce was ever seen in the savage world of beasts, where some desperate small creature armed with little teeth, alone, will spring upon a tower of horn and hide that stands above its fallen mate." The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien "'Would you have my plain answer?' Faramir said. "And they said no more; and it seemed to them as they stood upon the wall that the wind died, and the light failed, and the Sun was bleared, and all sounds in the City or in the lands about were hushed: neither wind, nor voice, nor bird-call, nor rustle of leaf, nor their own breath could be heard; the very beating of their hearts was still. Time halted. "And so they stood on the walls of the City of Gondor, and a great wind rose and blew, and their hair, raven and golden, streamed out mingling in the air. And the Shadow departed, and the Sun was unveiled, and light leaped forth, and the waters of Anduin shone like silver, and in all the houses of the City men sang for the joy that welled up in their hearts from what source they could not tell." The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien "And Éowyn looked at Faramir long and steadily; and Faramir said, 'Do not scorn pity that is the gift of a gentle heart, Éowyn! But I do not offer you my pity. For you are a lady high and valient and have won yourself renown that shall not be forgotten; and you are a lady beautiful, I deem, beyond even the words of the Elven-tongue to tell. And I love you. Once I pitied your sorrow. But now, were you sorrowless, without fear or any lack, were you the blissful Queen of Gondor, still I would love you. Éowyn, do you not love me?' "There isn't a man in the entire world who deserves how happy I could make him." an old woman a friend of mine knows "I'm not laughing at you, I'm laughing with you...you're just not laughing yet." my friend Meghan "Balloons are dangerous!" Nichole "You know you want to turn green!" my friend Nick, to a red stoplight (after saying that it did actually turn green) "Screens suck out your brain." my friend Devon "Ignorance is bliss, therefore strive for ignorance!" Devon "I'm going to Paris while I'm in Germany!" Devon "I only laugh at funny things." a girl on my bus "Walking is good for you...unless you happen to walk into a semi. That's not so good..." me "Hooray for women who can chop wood!" me "Mind-melding: all the best couples do it." me "Being random makes life fun for you and confusing for everyone else." me My friend Melissa: (talking about the movie Brokeback Mountain) So why is it called Brokeback Mountain? Leave the saving of the world to the men? I don't think so..." Elastigirl aka Helen Parr, The Incredibles "Normal? What do you know about "normal"? What does anyone in this family know about "normal"? We act normal Mom, I want to be normal! The only normal one is Jack-Jack, and he's not even toilet-trained!" Violet Parr, The Incredibles "You can't! It's impossible! I'm far too busy, so ask me now before I again become sane." Edna Mode, The Incredibles Leslie: My dad says that TV destroys brain cells. He arrives precisely when he means to." Gandalf “I can avoid being seen if I wish, but to disappear entirely, that is a rare gift.” Aragorn “Oh, that’s nice! Ash on my tomatoes!” Pippin "If you want him, come and claim him!" Arwen Arwen: I would rather share one lifetime with you than share all the ages of this world alone. (hands Aragorn her pendant) I choose a mortal life. "I will take the Ring to Mordor...though I do not know the way." Frodo Pippin: Anyway, you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission...quest...thing. Frodo: I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened. Gandalf: So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you were also meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought. “Nobody tosses a Dwarf!” Gimli "Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." Galadriel “Farewell, Frodo Baggins. I give you the light of Earendil, our most beloved star. May it be a light for you in dark places when all other lights go out.” Galadriel “I made a promise, Mr Frodo. A promise. ‘Don't you leave him, Samwise Gamgee.’ And I don't mean to. I don't mean to.” Sam “Let's hunt some Orc!” Aragorn (the 13 quotes above are from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring) Pippin: And whose side are you on? “I am Gandalf the White, and I come back to you now, at the turn of the tide.” Gandalf "Shadowfax. He is the lord of all horses and has been my friend through many dangers." Gandalf "So fair, yet so cold, like a morning of pale Spring still clinging to Winter's chill." Grima Wormtongue Aragorn: You have some skill with a blade. (originally in Elvish) "If you trust nothing else, trust this...trust us." Arwen Gimli: What’s happening out there? Treebeard: We have just agreed... Gimli: Oh come on, we can take 'em. “There is no curse in Elvish, Entish, or the tongues of men for this treachery.” Treebeard Frodo: I can't do this, Sam. (the 11 quotes above are from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers) (after drinking a lot of liquor) "I feel something. A slight tingle in my fingers. I think it's affecting me." Legolas "Run, Shadowfax. Show us the meaning of haste." Gandalf Elrond: I looked into your future, and I saw death. "Ada, whether by your will or not, there is no ship now that can bear me hence." Arwen “Authority is not given to you to deny the return of the King, Steward.” Gandalf “Mr. Frodo, look. The King’s got a crown again.” Sam “Mr.Frodo, wake up...Don't leave me here alone. Don't go where I can't follow.” Sam “Courage, Merry. Courage for our friends.” Éowyn (to Faramir) "I think you have strength, of a different kind. And one day your father will see it." Pippin Witch-King: You fool. No man can kill me! Die now. "Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?" Gimli “Sons of Gondor, of Rohan, my brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of Men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West!” Aragorn Gimli: I never thought I'd die fighting side by side with an Elf. “C'mon Mr. Frodo...I can't carry for you...but I can carry you!” Sam “I'm glad to be with you, Samwise Gamgee; here at the end of all things.” Frodo "I will not say do not weep, for not all tears are an evil." Gandalf “My dear Sam...you cannot always be torn in two. You will have to be one and whole for many years. You have so much to enjoy and to be and to do. Your part in the story will go on.” Frodo “Well...I’m back.” Sam (the 18 quotes above are from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King) "Never underestimate the power of research." This girl, how far are you willing to go to save her? Will: This is either madness, or brilliance. Jack: Anamaria. "Not all treasure is silver and gold, mate." Jack Sparrow "Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid." Jack Sparrow Elizabeth: Will! Jack: Why's the rum gone?!? Barbossa: It's not possible! Will: Where's Elizabeth? Elizabeth: Whose side is Jack on? "You like pain? Try wearing a corset!" Elizabeth Swann "If you were waiting for the opportune moment...that was it." Jack Sparrow Norrington: You forget your place, Turner. "Elizabeth - I should have told you every day, from the moment I met you...I love you." Will Turner Governer Swann: So this is your choice. After all - he is a blacksmith. (the 18 quotes above are from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) Elizabeth: Will! Why is this happening? "Complications arose, ensued, were overcome." Jack Sparrow Gibbs: A key. "We shall head in a general...that-way direction." Jack Sparrow "Why is the rum always gone?" Jack Sparrow "Have you noticed lately the captain seems to be acting a bit strange...er?" Marty Will: And then I intend to return here to marry you. "Keep a weather eye on the horizon." Will Turner "Why is the rum always gone?" Jack Sparrow Pintel: You can't read. "What about Jack? I won't leave without him!" (sees Jack being chased by cannibals) "Time to go!" Will Turner "I've brought payment. Look. An undead monkey! Top that!" Jack Sparrow Tia Dalma: Davy Jones cannot make port, cannot step on land but once every ten years. Land is where you are safe, Jack Sparrow. And so you will carry land with you. (hands Jack a jar of dirt) Elizabeth!" (to Gibbs) "Hide the rum!" Jack Sparrow Jack: We're very much alike, you and I...I and you...us. Elizabeth: There will come a moment when you have a chance to show it. To do the right thing. Norrington: You actually were telling the truth. Jack: How did you get here? "Oh, fine! Let's just haul out our swords and start banging away at each other! That will solve everything!" Elizabeth Swann "I've had it! I've had it with wobbly-legged, rum-soaked PIRATES!" Elizabeth Swann "Follow my voice. Follow my voice! To the left! No, other left! Go...no, that's a tree." Hadras' head (to his body) "No! Leave him lie! Unless you're planning to use him to hit something with!" Jack Sparrow "I've got a jar of diiiirt! I've got a jar of diiiirt! And guess what's inside it?!?" Jack Sparrow (the 23 quotes above are from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest) "Yo ho, all together, hoist the colors high, heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die..." Cabin boy Barbossa: I trust ye to know yer place in front of Captain Sao Feng. "You think just because she is a woman, we would not suspect her of treachery?" Tai Huang "The only way for a pirate to make a living these days is by betraying other pirates." Sao Feng Barbossa: Sao Feng, I assure you, our intentions are strictly honorable... (swords come flying from beneath the floorboards) (Barbossa smiles weakly) (talking of Davy Jones) "So...he wasn't always so...tentacle-y?" Ragetti "Fer sure, you have to be lost to find a place as can't be found. Elseways everyone would know where it was." Barbossa "Gentlemen, I wash my hands of this weirdness." Jack Sparrow "Why would he do that? Because he's a lummox, isn't he? Well, we shall have a magnificient garden party, and you're not invited!" Jack Sparrow "Now we're being followed by rocks. Never heard of that before." Jack Sparrow "Ah, Tia Dalma! You add an agreeable sense of the macabre to any delirium." Jack Sparrow Jack: William, tell me something. Have you come because you need my help to save a certain distressing damsel? Er - damsel in distress? Either one. "Why should I sail with any of you? Four of you've tried to kill me in the past - one of you succeeded." Jack Sparrow Jack: Who are you? "I leave you people along for just a minute and look what happens, everything's gone to pot!" Jack Sparrow Barbossa: I see my ship out there. Elizabeth: Will, I had no choice! Barbossa: What are ya doing? Pintel: (speaking of the dead Kraken) Stupid fish! "Pintel and Ragetti, Kraken slayers!" Ragetti "The brethren know they face extinction. All that remains is where they make their final stand." Cutler Beckett "Still thinking of running, Jack? Think you can outrun the world?" Barbossa "Did no one come to save me just because they missed me?" (the crew of the Pearl raise their hands) "I'm standing over there with them!" Jack Sparrow Sao Feng: There is an old friend who wants to see you. "You may kill me but you may never insult me. Who am I?" (Beckett looks confused) "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow!" Jack Sparrow "Send this pestilent, traitorous, cow-hearted, yeasty codpiece to the brig." Jack Sparrow Will: I said to myself, think like Jack. "If I may lend a machete to your intellectual thicket..." Jack Sparrow (speaking of Barbossa) "What is it you want most?" Will Turner "My heart will always belong to you." Davy Jones "We must fight - to run away!" Jack Sparrow "Cuttlefish. Eh? Let us not, dear friends, forget our dear friends the cuttlefish...flipper conories little sausages. Pin them up together and they will devour each other without a second thought...human nature, in'it? Or, fish nature...so yes, we could hold up here, well-provisioned and well-armed, and half of us would be dead within the month! Which seems to me grim any way you slice it. Or, ah, as my learned colleague so naively suggests, we can release Calypso, and we can pray that she will be merciful. I rather doubt it. Can we in fact pretend that she is anything other than a woman scored, like which fury Hell hath no? We cannot. Re ipsa loquitur, tabula in naufragio, we are left with but one option. I agree with - and I cannot believe the words are coming out of me mouth...Captain Swann. We must fight." Jack Sparrow "Nobody move! I've dropped me brain!" Jack Sparrow (the decaying one) "Oh, so fish-people, by dint of being fish-people, are less disciplined than non-fish-people?" Mullroy "Awk! Abandon ship! Abandon ship!" Cotton's parrot (while fighting a battle) Barbossa: Dearly beloved, we be gathered here today... Jack: Gibbs! (gives Elizabeth the chest containing his heart) "It's always belonged to you. Will you keep it safe?" Will Turner "Keep a weather eye on the horizon." Will Turner "Ladies, that is a dinghy. My vessel is magnificent, and fierce, and huge...ish, and...gone. Why's it gone?!" Jack Sparrow (the 20 quotes above are from Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End) Other pairings I Support (a VERY long list, sorry!) Zac Efron/Vanessa Anne Hudgens Brandon Hargest/Lesley Moore (both from the music group Jump5) Chris Fedun/Brittany Hargest (ditto above) Joe Jonas/AJ Michalka Violet/Tony (Incredibles) but only if Tony isn't a jerk Spirit/Rain (Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron) Landon/Jamie (A Walk To Remember) Matt/Inez (Cyberchase) Slider/Inez (Cyberchase) Matt/Shari Spotter (Cyberchase) Digit/Glowla (Cyberchase) Dr. Marbles/Lady Lovelace (Cyberchase) Owen/Via (Phil of the Future) Cody/Maddie (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) Rebecca/Cody (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) Todd/London (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) Miley/Oliver (Hannah Montana) Lilly/Oliver (Hannah Montana) Kim/Ron (Kim Possible) Troy/Gabriella (High School Musical) Chad/Taylor (High School Musical) Zeke/Sharpay (High School Musical) Kelsi/Jason (High School Musical) Will/Layla (Sky High) Westley/Buttercup (The Princess Bride) Violet/Quigley (A Series of Unfortunate Events) Klaus/Isadora (A Series of Unfortunate Events) Michael/Mia (Princess Diaries) Boris/Tina (Princess Diaries) J.P./Lilly (Princess Diaries) J.P./Mia (Princess Diaries) well, Michael's being retarded now, sooo... Sam/David (All-American Girl) Scott/Jen (Teen Idol) Will/Ellie (Avalon High) Suze/Jesse (Mediator) Meggie/Farid (Inkheart, Inkspell) Jess/Leslie (Bridge to Terabithia) you know what? In my world, she's not dead, so hah:P Eragon/Arya (Inheritance) Eragon/Nasuada (Inheritance) Roran/Katrina (Inheritance) Arya/Fäolin (Inheritance) Bardon/Kale (DragonKeeper Chronicles) Shasta/Aravis (The Chronicles of Narnia) Firestar/Sandstorm (Warriors) Firestar/Spottedleaf (Warriors) Whitestorm/Willowpelt (Warriors) Graystripe/Silverstream (Warriors) Bluefur(star)/Oakheart (Warriors) Cloudtail/Brightheart (Warriors) Dustpelt/Ferncloud (Warriors) Crowfeather/Feathertail (Warriors: The New Prophecy) Crowfeather/Leafpool (Warriors: The New Prophecy) Stormfur/Brook (Warriors: The New Prophecy) Brackenfur/Sorreltail (Warriors: The New Prophecy) Graystripe/Millie (Warriors: Power of Three) Lionpaw/Heatherpaw (Warriors: Power of Three) Mousepaw/Minnowpaw (Warriors: Power of Three) Jack/the Black Pearl (POTC) teehee! Jack/Anamaria (POTC) James/Elizabeth (POTC) in an alternate, Will-Turner-less world... Davy Jones/Calypso (POTC) Peter Parker/Mary Jane Watson (Spider-Man) Completely random/off-the-wall/non-canonical pairings I like sometimes (or all the time) Kelsi/Troy (HSM) oh shush. They'd be cute. Kelsi/Ryan (HSM) I like this one too - obviously... Hornet/Scipio (The Thief Lord) if their personalities weren't so similar Max/Zack or Max/Cody (TSLOZAC) can't actually see this happen, but the fanfics are fun anyway Legolas/Arwen or Legolas/Éowyn (LOTR) (runs and hides from the purists) Cinderpelt/Littlecloud (Warriors) well, she did save him...I don't care if she's dead and he's in a different Clan! Ravenpaw/Spottedleaf (Warriors) as demented as this one might be, I made it up and I claim it hereafter! Runningwind/Mousefur (Warriors) there actually are hints to this one in the books Blackstar/Russetfur (Warriors) could happen... Leopardfur/Whiteclaw (Warriors) and I'm fairly sure I made this one up too! And I DON'T care if she was his mentor! So HAH! Birchfall/Applepaw (Warriors: The New Prophecy) I think Apple(flower) went to the Warriors Characters Black Hole, but I'm not giving up... Jack/jar of dirt (POTC) ...what? It's funny! "This...is a jar of dirt." Funny! Pairings I may or may not like, depending on my mood Klaus/Fiona (A Series of Unfortunate Events) Brambleclaw/Squirrelflight (Warriors: The New Prophecy) Pairings I don't particuarly care for (aka won't read - usually) ANY gay/incest pairings cause it's just wrong. My opinion of this cannot be swayed. Don't try it. Liam Aiken/Emily Browning cause while I have nothing against Emily I just don't like the idea of it... Violet/Syndrome (Incredibles) cause he's like 11 years older than her and she could do SO much better Warren Peace/Layla (Sky High) cause I don't like him Matt/Jackie (Cyberchase) cause I don't think they'll ever be more than friends Nicholas/Mia (Princess Diaries) (movieverse) cause I REALLY don't like him Violet/Olaf (A Series of Unfortunate Events) cause it's sick and wrong! and so many other things... Troy/Sharpay (High School Musical) cause I don't like her, she's annoying, and plus Troyella is WAY too cute to break up Hawkfrost/Squirrelflight (Warriors: The New Prophecy) cause she hates his guts! It'll never happen! and now he's dead anyway, teehee... Paul/Suze (Mediator) because he's evil! Maddie/Estaban (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) cause the large age gap bugs me, and plus I am a hardcore fan of Cody/Maddie or Zack/Maddie Lilly/Jackson (Hannah Montana) because I don't like him much Aragorn/Eowyn (LOTR) because Aragorn and Arwen were meant for each other!!! 'Nuff said. Plus, Eowyn has Faramir. She shouldn't get greedy! Jack/Elizabeth (POTC) because there's nothing long-term about it! He'd only stay with her until he found the next female that would play his game! |
