Predominately I made the account to be able to encourage other writers and make comments on stories I enjoyed, though I have gone on to do some writing of my own, mostly Stargate SG-1 and Airwolf. Varthara is one of the few authors I've seen to successfully put the two shows together and I check my emails often with the hope that she will one day return to doing the 'Urban Legend' stories.

My story, 'Troubled Times' is largely AU because I refuse to kill off good characters to raise my ratings. And, I'm afraid, the story is living up to it's name. I will admit that I wrote myself into a corner, haven't even looked at it in years, and if I get some time, I'll have to reread and re-plot the story.

In the meantime, I've been writing Airwolf, as many might have noticed, mostly tags and missing scenes at this point. Due to the fiasco that 'Troubled Times' has become, I'm trying not to post anything until I have the entire story done to prevent stories from hanging. I admit that I hate it, and I hang my head in shame that I allowed myself to do it.

A couple of people have commented on how I have characters interacting in the Airwolf short stories I've done, in particular the interaction and friendship between Hawke and Archangel. Actually, if you look through the episodes of the series, it's actually fairly clear to see that, outside of some style differences, the two men were friends. My proof? In the episode 'Desperate Monday' Michael is rather frantic when shots break out on the QE2 and visibly relieved when Hawke finally answers his radio calls. In the episode "Crossover' they mistakenly believe that Hawke was killed in a car crash into the ocean, and Michael has to take the news to Dom and Cait. He finds he can't actually tell them, he has to let one of his aids give them the details.

So, why the clashes between them so often? I believe it was a matter of mindset. Hawke is a soldier with the 'you don't leave people behind' and the 'don't leave an enemy standing' mindsets. Michael, however, is a spy, trained to 'get in, get what's needed and get out without the enemy knows you were there' mindset with a good dose of 'political expediency' added in. While their goals were often the same, how you got there and how many bodies you left behind to be cleaned up were a different matter.

The point? I think the main reason why Hawke refused to give Airwolf back wasn't that he thought Michael would stop looking for his brother, but rather that he thought Michael's superiors would cut him off and keep Michael from getting the job done once they had their hands on her.

As the saying goes, 'Possession is 9/10ths of the law'.

I'm currently working with someone who's got a story going over in the 'Airwolf crossover' section. Check out the stories crossed with MacGyver and Knight Rider for some very good reading.

Unfortunately, 'Flower Crazy' (and yes, she's sent me pictures of her garden and it's beautiful), lives up to the second part of her name more than the first. The poor woman's life is insane. Her MacGyver/Airwolf crossover is currently on a temporary hiatus as she tries to deal with life's 'little' insanities. I try to contact her at least once a week to be sure she's still alive and kicking, and in the meantime I've got some ideas that we discussed gradually growing on my hard drive. Including a possible 'prequel' for her story that is pure Airwolf.

For those people who love Deb's work, (she wrote the first Airwolf story on this site), she's got a collaboration posted with Caeria that is just a fantastic read. Seventeen chapters of great work with huge amounts of background on Archangel that fits perfectly with the man we always saw in the episodes. The story is called 'Common Ground' and is definitely for Mature readers. Enjoy.

Yes, I'm still alive. Yes, I'm still writing... kinda.

Here's the deal, folks. 5 years ago I started collage, at the age of 49. One of the required classes for my Associates Degree was a class on writing essays. Do you know how hard that is for someone who can sit down and turn out ten pages of story writing in two hours? I failed the course twice and had to give up writing for a year to get my head wrapped around the other style, and barely got a C out of it the third try.

And, a year later, I'm trying to get my head turned back around the right way to get back into story writing.

It is both a help and a hinderance that I've developed a new addiction: Hermitcraft, on youtube. Some of these people are a lot more entertaining than anything you'll watch on TV, believe me. For anyone who plays Minecraft and is curious, there is a website by that name, I highly recommend you check it out. Hermitcraft(dot)com is a great place to find some fantastic Minecraft and Minecraft Mod action.

As for finally releasing more stories, be patient, I'll get there.
