Okay so some tings that you need to know about me.

I am a 40 something year old Englishman with manic depression (bipolar) and a passion for reading which I indulge at every opportunity although I have recently developed a strange fascination with Anime which has started to eat away at my time with the books. A new thing for me, however, is a frankly worrying desire to start writing down some of the stories that charge through my brain on the hour long walks to and from work so I have decided that I am going to do that here in a safe, anonymous and from what I've seen so far mostly friendly atmosphere.

Fluffy and fun is what I do (I am secretly a terrible romantic) though that might be a reaction to my past experiences with alcoholism and depression. What I'm saying is the dark stories are there I'm just not sure whether letting them come out is good idea. And yet when the dark times come and I simply can't bring myself to write the usual fluff then it is precisely these dark tales that I turn to as writing has become an essential part of my self imposed 'therapy'. It's considerably cheaper and more effective than the numbing and disorienting medication regimes that I have sometimes been subjected to. Basically if you see any story of mine with an M rating that doesn't involve my darling Alice Black then tread very carefully.

A note on femslash

So you may have noticed that all my stories are yuri/femslash. To set the record straight, I write femslash because I honestly don't understand what on earth girls find so attractive about great lumping, hairy, uncouth individuals like us. Especially as teenagers. I shudder when I think about what I was like in my own half remembered teenage years. I don't know about you people but if I were a teenage girl with the choice and opportunity it would be romantic, sweet smelling, soft and squishy girls all the way for me. So I write romance between two girls because it's easier for me to understand than romance between a boy and a girl. These are my issues and you are not required to agree with them. If you enjoy these stories because they are good stories then that is more than enough for me.

A note on Story progression.

Black Madness - 93k Words, 29 Chapters. Now complete. Yay!

My first story, my first love and what I write to relax. This will be finished. I have finally finished it and it only took a year. This was written completely off the cuff and rolls along unplanned and can go in some rather odd directions. It's not my best work but it is a lot of fun.

Silent World - 195k Words, 42 Chapters.

Planned and structured to the very last detail, well after the 50k word prologue that is. This is hard work to write but incredibly rewarding and is by far my most popular story, I think because it's better written and less ... insane than Black Madness. I do enjoy it, it's just bloody hard work. This one will take a while to finish but I will get there eventually. Finally done now and because it has turned into so much fun to write I'm going to do a follow up in the New Year.

Season of the Witch - Approx 150k Words

So I ended up having so much fun writing Cassie Evans that there is now a volume 2. Female Voldemort/ Fleur has also become a bit of a favourite of mine to write and I finally get to use Tonks too. As before I'm going to try and keep it mostly T rated but this might have to change as we get further in. Feedback , ideas and suggestions are positively encouraged in this story so get reviewing or PM'ing.

Silent World Lemons

After several requests from reviewers I decided to post a new story to contain all the naughtier scenes that I deliberately left out of Silent World in order to keep my T rating. Honestly this has not been very much fun for me to write as it's really not my kind of thing. I'm going to leave it up as a cautionary tale for myself but don't expect it to be up-dated very often, if ever.

Fortunate Son - Words unknown, Chapters unknown

I've always wanted to write a really good gender swap fic. I'm not sure if this is it but I'm going to try it out and see what happens. This is going really slowly but it is going.

Alice and the Human Sacrifice - Permanent Hiatus - Up for adoption.

Sequel to Black Madness. The second instalment in Alice's adventures in crazy town sees her heading to Gotham City to rescue her old headmaster and meeting up with some interesting characters along the way. This is going to earn every part of it's M rating. And I'm done. Full explanation in Chapter Four of the fic.

Riddle; Story of a Devil.

A dark and depressing story from the murkier corners of my strange brain. This is an outlet for my writing for when I get really low and as such it will be planned very much on a chapter to chapter basis and updates will be extremely sporadic. Don't expect much in the way of fluff here, it's going to be angsty and brutal pretty much from the word go.

Of Twins and Harry Potter - A Tale of Two Lillies.

Two stories from the challenge list of Anubis of the Highway Thieves. These are just a bit of good old-fashioned fun for me and something that I do in between other stuff. They are, in no way, meant to be taken seriously so please don't go giving me long, reviews telling me all of the things that I've got wrong and how I'm destroying the Potterverse. That's kind of the point in these stories, they're very much AU.

The Excellent Adventure of a Wolf, A Loony and Very Bored Heroine.

As if I didn't have enough to do, my friend Tenzo51 managed to convince me to write a story with them. I would have resisted except that it was such a brilliant and different concept that it caught a hold of me and, well, here we are. It's back to that balance between fun and serious that I enjoy writing so much and also Luna Lovegood is a major character in this one so, although it's made me very busy, I'm also as happy as a pig in shit. I love this one and I hope you will too.
