Bellatrix/Hermione relationships can be extremely weird and not always in a good way so it's refreshing to see that you have not only acknowledged the weirdness but tackled and even embraced it.

I always did think that it was silly that Death Eaters/Dark wizards apparently couldn't use a patronus, given all it needs is a happy feeling. Just because it's Dementor repellent doesn't mean it's Holy magic or something, burning all evil in its wake.
Sure Voldemort probably can't but he's pretty close to being a sociopath so it's more an inability to produce the required feeling than him being an evil bastard.
