I just want to say that this novel is extremely dissappointing. Everything is just skimmed over and we learn about things a while after the event has happened. For example in her second year, she has a date by a lake in which there is absolutely no hint of a kiss yet despite this in the next chapter we learn that they kissed eachother and are dating. A loy of key details are being ignored because the authkr is probably too lazy and hasnt even put any thought into it. Another example is her first mission given by the Ministry which is completely ignored and even the Second Year Ravenclaw Vs Slytherin match was just skipped. This novel is not good, in my opinion anyway. If the author triedneven a bit harder then this would have been extremely well written and enjoyable. This is a fustrating novel because the author keeps skipping events which are made to be significant during this novel.

One major flaw of this novel that I can see is the fact that the author just skips all the things that are exciting. It makes this novel extremely dull and boring and implies that you are too lazy to write those. You keep excluding information that would engage the reader. One example is when you skipped her espionage mission ajd anotger example is that during her 'date' by the lake there was absolutely no mention of a kiss until after she talked with her friends. This novel is being ruined by your lazy efforts to write a good scene.

I loved your Mass Effect series so I took to read this one even though it is not my usual fare. Loved it, though but I must say Mass Effect is better, I think you have matured as a writer, although the last two Hogwarts yeas were up to par. Not that I didn't love the previous ones, they were hilarious, but it was clear you were getting used to writing.

Once again, I loved it and looking forward to your next endeavor!

I just finished my review on chapter 70, in which I defended this story.
Now I have to say, I hate it.
First of all, it was truly a slice of life fiction. Slice of life of a freakishly badass ninja, with magical powers. That is why I was so disappointed. I love the premiss, and I actually quite like Saeko and her circumstances. I would love to read her story, but with a little bit more detail about the parts I like and less about parts hate. Granted, I don't like the slice of life genre, but I thought because of her circumstances, we might get more story about her awesomeness.
The moment you foregone her kinjutsu duel with her DADA teacher, I couldn't like this story anymore. I just had to finish it because I can't let go of an unfinished story unless I truly hate it or don't think it can be repaired.
But it didn't.
The worst was the ending though. Seriously? Two epic battles, one 3 years in the making, reduced to epilogues?
I truly wish someone adopt this story and change it from an earlier point. More interactions with known characters and more divergence from canon would be appreciated.

Right now, most people agree that a good story must have conflicts and character growth. In fact, it is considered a terrible story if it doesn't, just as you have said about this story. Mary Sue is almost an insult nowadays.
But, story writing is not a science, there are no absolute good or bad in writing. You can write whatever the hell you want.
There are people who actually like this sort of writing. Yes, it might not be a noble worthy novel, but as long as someone enjoys it, I think it is good.
Publishers won't publish such a work for sure, so let us at least enjoy it in fanfiction form.

I love all the little references scattered throughout. Dune, RWBY, Star wars, The riddle from DA: O among many others. Really liking this story and very much surprised it doesn't have more fav/follow/reviews. All you need is a beta reader(Or a more diligent one) to catch the few errors (Spelling/poor word choice/weird syntax).

This story deserves so much more love. It was a very good read that kept me up for nights

I really, really enjoyed this story (I may or may not also be putting off studying for finals). At first, I kind of hoped Saeko wouldn't turn out to be a Mary Sue but she turned out to be a powerful young lady who wasn't perfect but was amazing nonetheless. Even though it's almost impossible for someone to win something all the time, I found myself anxiously wanting Saeko to win *all the time* . I like the way this ended, like the end of Hogwarts for Saeko and her classmates, there's pleasant memories of the journey, a sadness that it's over, but also a contentedness that it all ended when it had to. Anyway, I really loved this story and I hope you continue to write in a way that is... YOUTHFUL! :)

Loving this so far and I'm curious to see how it progresses. The thing with this is that the set up makes it seem easy for Saeko to be a completely overpowered Mary Sue but this set up also makes it very interesting when the character's flaws are introduced because it doesn't seem like (at a glance and if you squint your eyes and maybe tilt your head) that Saeko would have any. I'm really curious :)
