Lol, all I can picture is my daughter doing the exact same thing! We were down in California and went to Universal Studios. They had Animal Planet showings where they would introduce animals. My daughter’s hand shot up when they asked for volunteers...without knowing what for.

7 chairs across the stage. They sat her in the center, a few adults to either side. Next thing I see is a massive grin on her face, and more adults lift this massive snake over their heads onto their laps. It was a good 25 feet. So she starts stroking and patting the snake and saying how pretty it is (I read lips,) gave her a microphone and she had to say that it felt like a purse. She kept smiling and petting the entire time. And it tried to give her a hug. Most say it was trying to grab onto her, but it was giving her a hug. She patted it a few times and it finally uncurled from around her...it just sort of wiggled itself in between her and the adults on either side. It didn’t wrap around her completely or even the chair, it was just draping itself over and around a bit. When she thanked it for the hug, it let go and allowed itself to be lifted off. The adults were a bit freaked. But she has a way with snakes. They all love her. And crows and ravens too, but especially snakes. She had an albino ball python stop and wrap around her arm for a hug when she was petting it too, then moved on.
